What weather widget is this? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

WHat weather widget is this. I like the umbrella when its raining. Wondering if beautiful widgets have it.

That's the LG UI 3.0 weather.

Does anyone have just the weather app? I don't want the launcher from lg. to use to nova

Then just push the widget.
Installation guide:
1. Choose the right launcher:
- XHDPI:1280x720p
- HDPI: 800x480p
2. Push the one launcher to system/app
2.1 Push both weather apps to system/app
3. Fix permissions (rw-r--r--)
4. Reboot your device

You can't. You have to use the lg launcher to use the weather widget. In looking for the weather widget only that works with any launcher

Try Yahoo Weather, it looks familiar

[Q] Can you name these widgets & launcher??

I seen someone post these screen shots and I am very curious of what everything is. I am not sure if they are themed or market widgets. I like the launcher too.
Can anyone put a name to what any of these are? I would definitely like to try them out. Thanks.
The launcher is launcher pro with an icon pack

that looks really cool, I might look into launcher pro.
Thanks. I am already using LauncherPro Plus, and now I have yet another reason to love it even more.

What's the icon pack and where do I get it?
the widgets aren't part of launcher pro, as far as I know. For the clock, I think it's SiMi Clock widget for the one on the right. I'm not sure if it's also the one on the left
The battery ne is circle battery widget that is free from the market, the weather looks lke beautiful widgets which is a paid app

Picture 1:
- Launcher: Probably Launcher Pro
- Battery: Not sure
- Weather: I'm guessing Simi Clock Widget (with the weather on) resized
- Date: Not sure
- Clock: Simi Clock Widget (with the weather off)
Picture 2:
- Launcher: Probably Launcher Pro/Plus
- Weather: Beautiful Widgets with Tick skin
- Clock: Simi Clock Widget (with the weather off)
- News Widget: Genie Widget (But not the default. Looks like a modded version to me)
The battery widget is called "circle battery widget" by cedric depoortere

You hit it right on the head! You extend the lines by using LauncherPro's resizing handles. Customization at its finest.... Thanks!!!

Wow I really like these too, I think I'll spend the evening trying to get my homescreen to look like this. Is that really the Dreamlyfe pack?

No I just really wanted to know what those icons were. I experimented with a launcher a long time ago on my mytouch and I hated how it looked and how it slowed my phone so I just had never tried one again but jeez that picture is just exactly the clean look I've been craving for my phone. I like the stock launcherpro icons but I am the kind of person who likes (free, not warez just free) options.

Yea, I definitely had it looking close. That Simi widget is a mystery. I am not sure how he got that horizontal like working in there like that. For the longer vertical line tho, just use LauncherPro's resizing and stretching it downward.
Take a look at clockR in the market
Also these
Simi clock in market
Oneseven Pro in market
battstatt in market
Smooth calender in market
Desktop Visualizer

Anyone know a good place to find free icons for launcher pro? I like the ones in the picture but I'm a broke college student. Not looking for cracks or anything like that just want some place to get some free opensource .pngs =)

If for personal use, (and if rooted) you can always download adw icon packs (tons of free ones on market), go to root explorer, find the apk it installed to your data/app folder, copy it to your SDcard. (This is easier to do on ur computer). Open up the apk with 7zip, find the folder with the pngs and copy them to a folder. I keep an "Icons" folder on my sdcard containing folders with various icon packs, for ex. Then it's easy to browse and assign them as you please (as custom icons).
There's also a paid app called launcherpro icons that does a lot of the work for u.. all launcherpro themed. They also have a website (community contributed) u can just grab em off and copy to your sd- nice launcherpro docks too.

Ahh, one more thing, you guys should check out a widget called minimalist text on the market (i think an xda dev). It's super clean, and he's been refining it like crazy. Ultra customizable.

Stock weather widget in Nova Launcher?

Any way to get the stock weather widget and use it with Nova Launcher?
Hi,
In short: nope, it's not possible...
You can try some weather apps on the Play Store that look a bit like the stock weather widget.

The stock weather widget and the calender widget are tied to the LG UI framework. Short answer the user above said, Not possible (yet)

The problem is that those stock widgets don't appear in any other launcher widget tab.

Not seeing LG Stock weather app in app drawer?

I'm on T-Mobile stock Rom. I can't see/find the stock weather app in the App Drawer, in either LG stock launcher, or 3rd party launcher.
I have the stock Weather widget and the Weather widget opens the Weather app fine.. I also see the app in under system settings/apps. I've wiped cache/data from it, but still no luck. I'm beginning to think LG only wants the app to open from the Weather widget itself?
If any T-mobile users out there, if you can answer if you have stock Weather app from stock Rom that would be great. Other variants also welcome.
Thanks

Yeah,. The app itself is only the widgets. I saw it once, but once I launched the app it disappears. The app is there but no icon. Hope this make sense.

Try going to Settings, About phone, Update Center, App Updates and see if it is in the list. It may have to be downloaded.
Same thing on a Sprint V20. The only way to open the stock weather app seems to be via a widget. This is strange. I have a LG G2 which has a very similar stock weather app, and it appears in the app drawer and the widget list.

I was also disappointed to find the weather app isn't standalone. I fixed this by using activity launcher and creating a shortcut to the weather activity. Best part about this method is that I don't need to use LG Home. This will work on all variants.

Great solution, I will try it, thanks!
I can confirm on T-Mobile the icon for the app is completely removed after launching the app. Just noticed this yesterday...

Nova Launcher Prime

Quick question, on my s6 even with nova prime I had the ability to use the Samsung weather widget.
I'm actually quite happy with how stock touchwiz is but randomly i thought lemme install nova, and go to find the weather widget is no longer available. Has anyone got it to work? Or is the only other choice is to use a different app?
I have the s8+
Many thanks.
Do, I can't use the Samsung Weather Widget when running Nova Launcher on S7. I use Beautiful Widgets and select their time and weather widget.

Thank you for a the suggestion guys, just read on a reddit that Samsung is blocking 3rd party apps. I've been messing with beautiful widgets and for now I'm happy with it.
