Help to translate a rom to portuguese

hello
Maybe if what i ask is too complcate but insted wask for a wm6 Portuguese rom i prefer some help that can make me possible lear about how to translate a rom for my own language.
If possible i want to known want soft i have to use and the process to translate. I think this can do a lot of work but i´m ready for it. I just need some light how to begine.

Extract 6965 Rom(chinese)to Replace the English drive

I have two 6965, however one is in English and one is in Chinese, I want to ask if I can extract the ceos.nba(or nbf....etc) in chinese one and flash it into the english one.I've read some threads on the site but actually I still don't know wheather I can or cannot do that?
If yes, Please give the details(Steps?Software/drivers needs?)Thanks very much!
OR if anyone have the chinese rom?(I saw someone have an chinese 6965 who want to replace to english, so definitly there have chinese os in 69XX series) and share it to me, alse tell me how to flash it!

i think u can do it, but must be sure that the memory chip type of them are same, exp G3 or G4. then u can use awizard to backup and restore the os rom.
i had do that from spanish to english.
backup the english rom at first is a good idea, for the failed write op
BTW: can u post the chinese nba rom? i had waste a long time to seek it

There is no Chinese rom on the hp sites, but I will try to backup the rom by using awizard suggested by you!!if I can do that, I will send the rom to you of couse! thanks a lot!

Polaris how to dump original rom

Hello
Can anyone point me to a "how to backup your original rom" guide for polaris?
I want to save my current configuration, before trying any version of cooked roms(for waranty purposes).
I know search is my best friend, but i couldn't find anything usefull.

I'm really new to this, so sorry... All i see is codes for the dump? I don't know what to do with them...

changing language

Hi all,
i bought a Tattoo here in Ireland for my nephew that lives in italy. he wants to have italian as a primary language on the phone.
I read that I can download the official WWE rom and simply flash that to get the missing languages.
Has anyone tried by any chance? Risk of bricking the phone? Problems with SPL or radio versions?
Just want to make sure im not sending him a dud for xmas

I'd say flash the WWE rom from the android development site. It comes with a big list of languages (Including Italian ).

I have updated the rom now i can use greek language but in sms composing the T9 isn't availble for greek.
Could anyone help please?
The strange part is that it is availble when i write text in the internet browser

guys can you please explain..
- where did you get the rom? i found a version but is in zip format and you need to cid unlock the phone first with the goldcard. im not too keen on that.
i dont understand how could I install the zip other than renaming to update.zip and reboot to recovery?? could someone please enlighten me?

Thanks neo will give it a try this evening.
I assume this wont change the keyboard to italian as well would it?
Would you happen to know if better keyboard or some others are compatible with the Tattoo?

Yeah man but why do you recommend thai rom?
And I should write AK tutorial for you because you are just noob and can't cook even with AK?

i was not recommend thai , i was just saying not to be put off as they can be any language.
and AK is working great for me and i am not far away from releasing a very good ROM from it...
something that took many tries and flash's of my spare himalaya!!
