Just wanted to pop in and say g'day, and thanks!
The forums are really helpful (as I found out while lurking) so I decided to sign up and see if I could contribute.
If I'm replying rather copiously, it's because I want to get to 10 posts so I can ask a question in the Dev area
Thanks!

You are not supposed to start a new thread in development unless you are sharing your work. If you have questions, ask in the q&a section. You can still reply to an existing thread in development.

If you wanted to contribute to the forum, you should have thought about making a new thread for this kind of stupidity. Spamming the forum does not contribute in any way.

Hello. Some people on XDA have a rod shoved up somewhere where the sun don't shine. If you have questions about any thread in the dev forum, try a search of that forum, and ask if you don't find the answer. Posting frequently is alright as long as you're contributing on some level, even for the sake of discussion about a relevant topic in that specific thread. Spam is usually a bad idea
Have fun and welcome to xda!
welcome to the party! please do not create a new thread in the dev section if you're not a dev. and your questions can be asked in the Q&A section. before you ask, make sure you use the search tool thoroughly. double posting is not acceptable here, if you want to, and i highly recommend, read this article: http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=263 Have a nice time here in xda!
I'll admit i haven't done much research on it, haven't had time to delve deep into the subject really (new job :/ ). Anyways, has anyone heard/read anything on it? I'm guessing a new kernel will need to be introduced that supports it? Thanks!
Questions belong in Q&A. Crazy, I know.

I do apologize i'll get this down pat soon
I saw this in the recent posts and thought I'd bring it to our forum to make it easier for people to see it.

If anyone can explain what it does, how it does it, and any possible problems with it I would very much appreciate it.

he got that somewhere else, it is best to look for this, turbocharger, they have detailed info on the use of it.
Does anyone know a way to take this thing apart? I got all the screws off but it still stuck at those 4 corners. Not sure how to pop those things out.

I remember I ran stock on my Note 2 for a few days and I hated the GPS or some symbol ALWAYS in the notification bar and ridiculous WiFi reminders. Other than those 2 things I think I can live with stick for awhile. Anyway to get rid of my 2 complaints without root? Thanks!
Yes, there are a few things that will be hard to adjust to ... For sure the two you mentioned! I remembered about the WiFi nag, but completely forgot about that GPS "eye"!
I agree it'll be rough running stock until the wonderful devs figure this new device out! I'm hopeful for at least root early off because I can't see running without LMT or AdAway for very long LOL

I'm hoping one can still remove the persistent wifi notification by the long press which works on the Note 2. And it would sure be a great surprise if Verizon removed that very annoying GPS/location eye. Regardless, I'll be staying stock.

Device Q&A typically refers to informative questions that a person considers important and needs an answer for it. This original post, while indeed a question by grammatical definition, is more idle banter, a general discussion of sorts.

Please reread the OP. It contains this request for technical information "Anyway to get rid of my 2 complaints without root?"
And forum rule 15 states:
General Forums - For news and announcements relating to your device.
Q&A Help & Troubleshooting forums - For all question threads / posts. If there is no Q&A Help & Troubleshooting forum use the device General Forum
If you have any issue with a moderator action, please take it to PMs.
Highlighted that as apparently some people missed this^^^^^^^^^^ My PM "door" is always open.
