Have you ever flash a ROM called LeWa? - Milestone 2 General

Hello everebody,
Have you ever flash a ROM called LeWa? If not,I think you can try it. I would like to share with you LeWa rom for Milestone 2 which is founded from a Chinese forum.The rom is based on Android 2.3.7. If you clean the memory,there is about 230M of memory available.You can flash it in the normal way.I think it`s almost perfect and I am using it right now.
But there is something I have to say in advance, I take no credit for the rom, as I haven't ported nor developed it but I am using it right now. Nor I am taking any responsibility for damaging your phone.So I suggest the one who have enough experience to try it. Attention,please! The default language is Chinese, but you can change it to English in the setting, and there is only two language for choosing. Note:When you want to flash another rom,and get into the Recovery you will see some Chinese characters.Don`t be afraid,I will tell you what they mean.So just try to keep they in mind.
Well, I guess that is it! Sorry for my poor English.Just enjoy responsibly.
At last, I`d like to say thank you to the people who have developed and ported the rom.Nice work!

Install?
Looks like you've installed a Chinese ROM or .cab file. Your device hasn't just decided to display a Chinese screen, you must have done something. Whatever it was - undo it!

You funny man.
Okay, first, let me check something, because I'm not really sure what is wrong with your screen.
Since you installed a chinese ROM, I think you like to have the chinese symbols.
Now is my chinese language in a very early stage, (like I need to start learning it) so what is the problem with the screen.
Because if it is the chinese, you should reflash it with a ROM that displays the language you like to see.
if that is not the issue, then what is the problem
哈哈! 仲以為你識睇中文....刪除它吧!!

Hrck mods v1 (Color and stock roms only)

I spent my earlier part of this evening making this with a tool.It's an aroma installer package and for those who don't know what that is it's a mod which gives u an extra GUI in recovery and allows you to pick what mods you want to install.It's limited right now and read all here before messing up your device and coming back to report an error you made.
Disclaimer:I'm not responsible if your phone explodes,shocks you or melts or whatever.Do this at your own risk if there really are any.
The first version of this mod has 3 sections.
-You'll find root apps.Framaroot,root tools and xposed installer.Choose if you want them.
-You'll find nodo camera mod(don't use if you aren't on stock),and the xperia gallery app and more in the app section.Don't install oppogallery2 if your not on the stock rom except you want to try and you know how to revert.
-The clock widget section is a choose one only option to choose between the Oppo green,red,yellow clock widget respectively.Don't choose the 3 or you'll end up with the yellow.I included the order in the title so you don't have to remember.(due to renaming issues I had with the aroma compiler you need to go into /sytem/app and rename any oppodigitalclockwidgetG or r to "OppoDigitalClockWidget.apk")
This is the beginning and I'll add more and keep the package apps updated.
Hit thanks to say thanks and happy flashing.This are all compiled by me so if you share give me credit.Included apps[4.3camera,framaroot,Oppoclock widgets(R,G,Y),nodo-gt camera mod,recoverytools,G.E.sunbeam live wallpaper,xperia walkman,xperia gallery,xperia z ultra launcher,xposed framework]

Crdroid key board port for nogout and oreo

Hello, this is a port of the crdroid key board for those using a rom that is not crdroid. I ported this for those who would rather have the numbers at the top of the key board.
Change Log: December 2nd:
No longer longer need to delete anything to install keyboard. Just download and flash with TWRP. This is the latest version of the keyboard. This is also universal now as you can use on other devices other than HTC M8. No longer need the instructions wrote below but will leave there for reference just in case someone runs into problems. The zip now is labeled m8universal. Enjoy the keyboard. This will be final unless I find something is not working right. Pie is beta will be coming sometime in the future.

Directions: Go to System/App/ LatinIme and open the folder then delete everything in it. Then
reboot into TWRP recovery and flash the zip you downloaded. Now you have the keyboard in the pic.

Side note if you don't delete the contents in the LantinIme folder first you might not have a working keyboard after flashing the zip. In my tests when I deleted the contents in the LatinIme folder first before flashing I had a result of 100 percent working. So follow the directions and everything will work. Its works on some nogout roms and works on all oreo roms when tested. Flash and enjoy your new keyboard.

Flashing a custom ROM on a ZED AN817DK?

Hey fellas,
I've done some flashing on android before, but only on smartphones, instead of a car multimedia. My model is ZED AN817DK.
It looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The launcher it came with is kinda disgusting, so I installed Nova Launcher instead.
Regardless, the system barely works, even on the stock settings / factory reset status.
Apps are crashing, changing the audio option in Waze takes a whole 2 minutes to even open up the menu for the option
(the app works but the input is unresponsive for 2 minutes until the menu appears).
I've tried contacting the shop I bought it in and they sent me a "firmware" update in the form of an APK file that will not launch in the device. I don't think I saw an option in it's administrator settings or anywhere else to update firmware via file (only check for firmware update - and it's always "up to date").
So I think I'll resort to flash a custom rom on this. I'm a bit worried since in the scenario where things go wrong I rely only on a pen hole style reset button which I don't fully trust to reset successfully if a custom rom is installed.
Is there a general flashing guide for these devices? How safe is it, as in what are the chances of completely bricking the device?
Are there general or common roms that work well on these devices?
