After rooting of my i9505 went wrong i'm left with a soft-bricked s4.
I can still boot into download mode but when i try to install original firmware it fails saying something about pit.
So my question is; does anyone have this file?
Or maybe a uber friendly xda member that can make this pit file through heimdall. It's only a very small file and it would take seconds to make it i think. If one of you guys (or girls) could help me get that pit file, i will owe you one forever!
Please tell me you got this file, or something similar for a fix? I attempted to flash a custom recovery and then a custom ROM, failed miserably and attempted to restore to stock to leave it as is (both through Kies and wipe/factory reset). Unfortunately, the phone boots, but just hangs on the samsung boot animation with a pulsing blue LED - is this similar to yours OP?
Any help would also be hugely appreciated.

My phone is stuck on firmware on "upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
I tried Kies 3 and it doesn't recognise the phone. I tried different firmwares the invalid .4ext error and says the file too big 475000 < 512000 something among those lines. I read that I will need to re-partition the memory with .PIT file for the note 4, which is no where to be found on google. I hope someone will be kind enough to extract the .PIT file from their phone and post it here.
Cheers,

Guys I tried flash latest Sweden and have same problem size too big and ext4 failed, then I flash Philz recovery and voila phone booted everything its ok!!!
If you download a stock Samsung ROM, remove the .md5 from the end of it, and then extract the archive, you should find the PIT file in there.
I've not had to do it myself, because I'm using an S4 at the moment and was able to get a PIT file download on its own. So I can't verify 100% that it will be there, but I read it in a thread somewhere that it is.
Give it a try..
same problem
i hv same problem. but after instaling all samsung recovery.tar via odin it stuck on start up showing "android is not seandroid recovery."
i hv tried dfrnt stock firmware to flash via odin but all fails. need help?????????????
Hello Guys
I have my GT-I9300i bricked, It was flashed with many recovery files, and rooted many times, but finally it stopped working, Just stops at BOOT SCREEN, and from twrp says " NO OPERATING SYSTEM".
Also I tried to flash with Odin, but no luck, the device doesn't accept file.
I'm thinking using PIT file to repartition device might help, but I can't find a PIT for I9300i
So please can any one provide the PIT file for me? Or can suggest a solution for me?
I will be grateful

If you installed cwm or twpr try to reflash cm11, 12 or if you have the stock one. Gieb more information about your boot manager.
Any one know how to recover this Tab? It does not turn on at all. Bricked flashing firmware file with ODIN. Got stuck and everything broke after that.
So no one knows anything about unbricking this tab?
A,
hey hey, good morning, provided you didn't trash your pit/patition info your tab should be recoverable,
you will need these, [not addressing the stock option here]
recovery, flash via odin first, you'll know real quick if you're done or not, if you get any pit error messages, yup, dead
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934547320
note- if odin complains about the signature just remove the .md5 extension from the file
rom, put this on your sdcard and flash via recovery
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/rom-sm-t231-odex-root-t3052254
this rom will cover sm-t230/nu/31,
that's probably your best option. usually when odin bites it on a flash, you'll need to get a successful recovery.img or boot.img
to go through to get odin out of the error mode it gets stuck in. BUT, like i said before, if you boned your pit/partition info, then
you're done.

Hi guys.
So here's the story :
I flashed lollipop firmware in my Note 3 Exynos then rooted it and did some must have things to my phone (install busybox, greenify, mod systemui to hide sfinder button, enable theme support fot TW, adding some feature by editing others.xml). Few days later, I tried to take picture using stock camera and suddenly my phone shuted down itself, with no luck my phone won't booted completely (samsung logo and then blank). (I'm able to enter download mode but not with recovery mode).
So I tried to flash stock using odin and here's another problem, odin stuck at "initialization", I did some research and ended with conclusion that I need to flash .PIT file alongside with stock firmware.
I have no knowledge to build .PIT file from scratch with PIT Magic.
So please guys help me if you already have any .PIT file with you, please share with me. Or there's alternative way to fix the problem?
Thanks.
Update:
I found the PIT file but still no luck, odin stuck at "initialization". What could posibbly wrong? I have orignal usb cable, trying from different port with no luck. Need enlightment...thanks in advance.
Can anyone please help me with restoring a Samsung Galaxy Tab E SM-T560 UK. I can boot into twrp 3.0.2-1, install Lineage or any other rom, but it just gets stuck on a loading boot screen, on whatever rom I try. I did try reinstalling the firmware in Odin, but it failed right at the end. I am not 100% sure whether the firmware was the correct version anyway. I also wondered if it is normal to point the Odin BL AP button etc to one big extracted .tar file. It does seems to be loading , but fails at the end. I looks like custom roms will still load, but I am just not sure why they are stuck in a boot loop. Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance for any help
Unbricked the the device now by restoring device in Odin. If anyone else has the same problem just choose AP to load the md5 file and restore firmware....
