Windows Media Player rotate wrong way

Is this just me??
When viewing Album after recording a video as you hold the phone normally the screen rotates left then when you preview the movie in WMP and go to full screen it rotates right.
(hope that sounds right)
is there a way to tweak it sop the both rotate say left or both right, just that they both go the same way really.
Thanks

Screen off while listening media player

I want to turn off the screen while listening to the media player on the speaker. Normally this can be fixed by configuring a hardware button.
Open up Windows Media Player on your Pocket PC
Tap Menu > Options > tap the right arrow to toggle over to the Buttons tab
Tap the Buttons tab and scroll down the page to the end until you see the "Toggle Screen" option. Tap it to highlight it, then tap the Assign button and then press the button you 'll press to toggle the screen on or off.
Tap OK at the top of the screen and you're done.
Click to collapse
However, I can not find a button which works. Has anyone an idea to fix this?
yep me too
yep, i have this problem too. like to go to sleep listening to the player but then the light stays on the whole time!
any update
A work around
I have had the same problem. My solution is to use AE button plus.
I've assigned Volume up key as follows. 1 click - up arrow, 2 click - page up and long click - volume up.
(Similar for down volume)
Next in media player I assigned up volume key to toggle screen.
Now when I 1x click volume up the screen toggles, but if I long click I get volume bar which then allows volume keys to work as normal ie Single clicks up/down volume.
alternatively if you're just listening to music you could install nitrogen player. which is far better than the standard media player (imo)

just press the 'power' icon and the screen will switch off and the audio continue to play.

Pocket music is also good
Nitrogen! It's superb. And, the volume buttons still work with the screen off (although the latest build links its own volume to the system volume which causes problems - I use v1.0 which leaves system volume separate).
You can use PowerOptions to turn off the screen while listening to music, see here :

Trick
Hi,
This is a trick that works with the Touch.
1. play some music with the Headphones jacked in
2. with the headphones still in, turn off the screen
3. pull out your headphones and the mediaplayer will use the built in speaker, even though the screen is OFF.
try it and report the results
no warranty, since it works with my Touch, but I don´t know, it may work with the Diamond II.
Didn´t work
Uhmmmm!!
I got my Diamond 2 last weekend and I tried this without success.
Sorry guys

core player blank acreen

hi,
i have a question about the core player using the blank screen function as a hotkey. everytime pressing the hotkey for blank screen while the player is playing music with the screen turned off... so far so good but when i press the hotkey again the the coreplayer closes but the music is still playing. so i have to open the core player again to change the music or to turn it off. now my question: is it possible that i press the hotkey button (while the player is playing music with the screen turned off) and i come back to the coreplayer screen instead closing the program?

does nobody have an idea?

youtube controls

i have trouble with the youtube app. the pause en skip controls are always onscreen in fullscreen. I have to make the video small again and then again fullscreen to get rid of the controls keys.
i did a factory resset no fix.

SPMC - Change controls?

Is there anyway to change controls on SPMC as i have 2 things that really annoy me, and if anyone could help me out i would really appreciate it, especially the 2nd problem.
1st (most annoying) - when in Programs -> Android apps, the menu button does not work so i can not add them to favourites which is annoying as i have to use my girlfriends phone remote all the time just for this one function.
2nd - while a video is playing when clicking back it stops video instead of carrying on playing in the background so you can browse lists (useful for music videos and is standard in kodi)
3rd (just remembered) - theres is no option for the 'now playing menu' which means you cant put the playlist your playing on shuffle or repeat at all (frustrating for music video playlists).
I have nearly 1500 music videos and i want to be able to play them without listening to them in the same order everytime and because of the 2nd problem i cant even queue other tracks and do it that way
1. Hold 'Ok' button for a while -> context menu appears (probably does not work with 'A' button on controller)
2. Change Kodi keymap > search keymap on Kodi Wiki
3. Change Kodi keymap > assign 'Tab' (now playing) or 'n' (playlist) to a button you want
koying is now aware of the first problem
See if this helps you:
