Hi everyone! I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I have a question about the Google play store: why can't I download more than one app at a time? Like I remember a couple years ago when I had a Motorola Atrix, with the older android market, I could download or like update 20 apps at a time. Why did Google remove that feature? And is there any way to get it back? Cuz it's super annoying imo, like right now I wanna download 4 apps, and one of them is a gb
in size, and is holding all my other downloads back -.-
Ps I'm using Swype, so apologies for any weird/stupid spelling, grammar, or any other sort of mistake

ILooked around and couldn't find much, just that other people were having the same question, but I couldn't find an answer. And yeah I know that, but I wanna be able to download at the same time lol not have to pause stuff

maybe not, but for people who own an s3 and want the update, then it does
It only took me about 45mins to delete all the crap that has accumulated over the last 3 year, but thanks Google what's 3 years ehhh...... :beer:
The issue of not remembering your place in the list was infuriating. Try looking for cm10 themes when it keeps going back to the start of the list! This is the single most important fix.

You could have multi selected them all at once and then delete.

Why on jesusalabuddha's earth did it take google so song to get these new....hmmmmm.....features? And to boot....I had to sideload it manually. But so far I tested....and it rocks imo.
I had trouble installing it into /data/apps/.
I also renamed the old one first before bringing in this new one.
It wouldn't let me click the INSTALL button. (the 2nd one) So I rebooted and voila, it was there installed.
I still get the NOT CONNECTED bug at least 1 out of every 3 times I try to navigate within Google Play. RETRY button always helps.
Got it working - had to rename it because I'm running inverted gapps

Was stilling annoying. I spent 20 minutes tapping away removing over 2 years of crap.. Was like a walk down memory lane. I felt old when I reached Open Home..
Guess it's too late to tell you that you can select multiple entries and delete them all at once, hm? ^^
Still didn't manage to reinstate a dedicated list for only apps you purchased, though I know Google has no intend of doing it.

Yeah I had to do the same thing. It was rather annoying. I am sure they will release another correcting that now that we all lost several minutes of our lives clearing them out. :laugh:
All that tapping made me felt a bit like an mmorpg player. Nice to see my first downloaded app was SuperSU.
I really like that we can remote apps from all apps.

Yeah, too bad you can't do the same operation on the Play Store website and it would sync back to the app. Also ridiculous that they made the list position to stick, when you're searching for apps, but not in the Installed apps section. When you list down and delete some apps, you get back to the top again lol. But it's a start.

I am so glad they added a way to remove apps. Like others, I have had multiple phones and had a bunch of old apps I dont use anymore. While first discovering the new option, I had learned that you could multi select and remove, so it didnt take too long. One more thing that would be great to add would be the ability to select multiple apps to install.

I just downloaded and right away found a glitch. On the main screen it shows the apps books and blah but if you touch the side it has a seizure and starts moving left and right a million times. Really hard to explain.

This is new? My CM10.1 nightly, JB-4.2.2 skyrocket upgraded to this the first time i ran it weeks ago. But none of my <4.2.2 androids got the upgrade. I was assuming it was restricted to the new version of JB? I like it much better. Its simple, quick and looks boring, like it should. I will never miss the "keep shopping?" page!!! And lil Wayne blinged out on the home screen? Was googles lamest app by far! Im liking the new attitude much better so far.

Just install the APK, it's the same as the one you'll automatically get anyway
It's not a problem, just be patient if you don't want to install the APK. I haven't got it yet either.

Turn off phone , turn on, then open Google play.. Do it a few times.(if needed)

Seems like a waste of time when you can just install the apk. Same thing you would get if it was pushed by Google.

I had issues when I first tried the apk , errors , download issues etc.. Also it's not something has to be different for it to be .26 instead of. 25.
Here is a screen shot of what I was getting with the 4.0.25 APK .

I manually installed the latest Play app, but I can't say I really like it. At first glance the design seems to be reverted to the Android 2.x user interface. I don't get it why Google chose a green title bar.

Anyway, if you search 'Google Play 4.0.26' in the 'Search All Forums' box up in the top right corner you'll get a lot of results for the APK
You can pull APKs without root using this guide:

As many of you probably know, the new version of Tapatalk is a hot mess. I wish I've read the comments before upgrading.
Anyone happen to have the apk of the version prior to the major change in the UI and functionality?
I'll dig around in all my backups.
There are so many issues with the update:
1. The app is now ad-supported, but it's free! I paid for the app so I wouldn't see ads.
2. Forum navigation is cumbersome. Why would you force users to tap the most difficult spot to navigate?
3. Everything I load XDA, the "failed to connect to forum" toast pops up. I believe that renders the mark forum as read button useless.
4. 2 start new topic buttons while the mark as read button is hidden in a menu.
5. Color scheme.
6. There's no way to sort your subscribed subforums.
7. What's with the collage at the top once you connect to a forum? All that does is force users to scroll just to see what they want.
8. I could go on by I've got better things to do.
Yeah, it's a complete disaster. Check the attachment, that's version 4.9.5, right before the major UI redesign.
Anyway it just got updated to version 4.10.1.

It displayed a message to download the version from the Play Store and logging in with a Tapatalk ID to have that functionality and also (coincidentally?) the app force closes every time it's opened shortly after.
That pretty much made me install the version from the Play Store. I smell something is going on to force the current users to download the current ad version. I don't think it is fair for the ones that paid to get rid of the ads.

AFAIK there's no pro version anymore. The one attached is the free version, the one and only version of Tapatalk that's in the play store.

I know, haven't updated the app in over a year. It worked fine which is why I never upgraded.

I believe I saw it in a drop-down menu somewhere. But I'd gone back to Tapatalk Pro temporarily so I don't have it handy to check.
I've also gone back to the Pro version. It is so much better without all the unnecessary bloat.
