Hello,
I have actually a samsung galaxy s i9000 device, running on CM 10.1
After a reboot, the screen turns pink.
Ive flashed and changed roms, formatted, cleaned partitions, did just about anything and it only works with stock rom and no with custom roms
I think there is no problem with the LCD at all
Thank you for your feedbacks / your help !

Dear All,
My Device Currently running on
Android 4.4.4 Custom ROM CM11 snapshop M8.
I've tried to flash the kernel to lean kernel.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2488082
However, after i flash the kernel the screen went black after Samsung logo screen.
Is there any thing i miss out doing?
I wipe cache and dalqiv cache before I flash the kernel.
Any enlighten would be great. Sorry to post here as I couldnt google any relevant information to aid me.
Thanks in advance

Try downloading leanKernel 3.1 AOSP version.
Usually because lean and temasek updates very often due to commit changes, their newer kernels usually break older versions of CM by showing a black screen after you see SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3.
The old(er) kernels will work for sure, don't use the latest update. If a previous update doesn't work, move back a step.
So I've recently rooted and installed a custom rom on my phone for the first time with success. My phone is the T-Mobile Galaxy S3 N900T. I'm running C-Rom-KK-v7.1-20140622 which is based on 4.4.4 and it's great. I've been trying to find a custom kernel that I can load onto it to help increase the battery life, hence why I heard LK was really good for that, unfortunately every time I flash the kernel it just reboots to a black screen. The LED buttons will sometimes light up, but nothing else happens, and I'm forced to wipe and reinstall c-rom. I'm really looking forward to getting a custom kernel to work and any help would be appreciated.

Been a while since I scanned the N3 forum however, check that the ROM is compatible with the Kernel and If the Kernel does indeed run on the 900T - when I had my N3 T-Mo users used to have to flash a fix to boot N9005 kernels.
hey everyone
so ... i decided not to flash any samsung rom again as they are like @ [email protected]!# !!!! they are extremely laggy and CM is awesome even with some bugs but i don't know why my device seems to be the only one which has this problem
after installing tean canjica rom at the begging i got no service then the signal appeared for about couple of seconds then no service again
and that never stops and 99.9999% of time is no serivce
tried 3 different modems with 3 different methods ( TWRP , CWM & odin )
but still no luck
ps. when i flash samsung stock the problem disappears but on TeamCanjica or Remix rom the problem appears
thanks for your time

Hi,
Wait for new build comes up. I see on TeamCanjica's thread, the developer will update the ROM. I tested GearCM and no network problem (before I revert to Prism Barebone). The problems you mention above might apply on all CM based ROMs that using TeamCanjica's device tree until their sources updated.
Possibly workaround is to update your modem.
hello i have a galaxy s5 900H, after installing the XtreStoLite ROM 2.3, i have been having random reboots, i searched the thread for someone with the same problem but couldn't find one. so is it just me? or is it common and is there a way to fix it?
I had the same problem I think it was on "Alliance Rom" and "MOAR" and the problem seemed to be caused by to many changes in the rom control ie (color clock/new icons) so I just re flashed the rom amd didn't change as much and it worked fine. Hope this helps
Hi Guys
I have my Galaxy S5 now +- 3 years, and use a custom rom about 2 years now...
Until now, I'm unable to boot any custom rom, everything freezes at the boot screen...
I was using Resurrection Remix Nougat, but can't update it, not dirty and not clean.
Today I flashed a stock rom with Odin, and I can't boot any custom rom except the stock rom...
Can someone help me please?
thanks in advance!
Check the bootloader and modem, if it's the correct version. Otherwise, recovery might be the culprit. Nougat ROMs are kind of sensitive to older basebands, though results might actually vary.
