Do galaxy tabs go on sale?

Hi everyone,
I've already asked a similar question concerning the Asus transformer tablet and now I'm wondering if the same applies to the galaxy tab. Basically, what are the chances of a decent discount price in the next few weeks before I return home to NZ? I'm located in Manhattan at the moment.

The best I could find after looking since black Friday was 50.00 off so when best buy had it on sale yesterday I finally picked one up!

Cheapest I've seen is $449 - holding out for $399 sale

bought one at harvey norman auckland boxing day sale
540 nzd incl. Gst

Staples had a $100 of any tablet in august so I picked up a new one then for $399

HHgregg is selling it for $400.

Me too. Best deal eva!

In Canada, Either Best Buy or Futureshop had $100 off the Galaxy Tab 10.1 as well as many other tablets.

I guess nobody has purchased the $32Gb version? Am I the only one?

100$ for 16gigs of space? Rip off. They purposefully left the sdcard slot out to lure us into this cash cow just like apple. Samsung should know better. My phone has more gigs...and a faster, better processor at that! The tab still is the best honeycomb out there tho.

Consider it a "ripoff" if you want. For my thinking the only way to get the space is to buy it with the tablet. I'd rather spend $100 now than run short of space later.

My phone has 40GB of space. But, it doesn't have a Tegra2, and I doubt yours does as well.
However, the GTab 10.1 rocks, with Task's ROM. Who cares how much storage is local? Storage comes and goes. I have servers with 32GB of RAM and terabytes of disk. Yet 16GB onboard is more than sufficient for my tablet.

i wanted to upgrade to PRIME,
but they having lot of issues with it. so backed off.
but i tell you this TF101 is the Best Economical Out there.
It works like charm. I simply love it over my wifes Xoom and Cousins Galaxy !

Should I Buy?? Need Advice

I'm somewhat new to the "tablet" world. I bought a Xoom when it came out, needed the money so I sold it off. I'm an android fan (of course) and have the GSIII. Anyhoo, I have a chance to purchase a TF300T 32GB model today for $180. Is that a good deal? Is it worth me doing it?
I would appreciate any review/advice.

Are you kidding me? I had to pay 400€ for Tablet+key docking
Go get it! And consider buying a key docking as well
Using this device for few weeks now and I really appreciate having it. Replaced my netbook and offers me so much more features to it. And as far as I know it's the only tablet that offers a key docking as well - which is really useful

Thanks for the input! Looking at keydocks now. Know of any good case/portfolio for it? I'm about to start browsing.

This one is a really good case for the TF300T, It can either be used with just the tablet or the tablet and dock. Nice and interchangeable

For that price, you need to get it ASAP! I paid $299 for my 32gb tf300t and $49.99 for a blue dock. I thought that was a very good price. $180 is a steal for a 32gb.

I bought it from Office Depot the day after Black Friday. I originally bought the 16gb from Best Buy for $279 but after reading here, I found that Office Depot had the 32gb for only $20 more so I took it back and went to Office Depot.

One way is to have a sharp eye out for deals and be ready to jump on them when they appear. I got my 2014 the 32 gb for $539 at Best buy about 6 days ago. Got Galaxy Gear for $209 at Best buy too.

Oddly enough I noticed and confirmed in store that the black 12.2 is totally sold out in store and online and can't even get it shipped. Popular or didn't sell well and they are pulling it? .
Went in to buy 10.1 after returning my note 10.1 and don't think the size is bad. For $150 more USB 3.0 and 32 gb not 16.

i was told black were only available online. i got the 12.2 in white. gonna just cf black wrap the edges and call it a day

I returned my 12.2 note pro and got the white tab pro. Why not for 599. White is actually better and good looking than the black one.

That's pretty odd.
I just picked mine up on April 1st and all the stores around me had the 32 white in stock.
Now only one store shows it in stock.
I'm assuming they are selling well.
$600 is the price most people pay for ipads
