Also try Wallpaper Wizardrii
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.twistedapps.wallpaperwizardrii&hl=en
It also allows you to set a wallpaper without cropping it.
I use "MultiPicture Life wallpaper"
It's a life wall paper, but with with the "single picture option" enabled it can acts as fixed background image.
It also doen's use any batt. when using the single pic option.

Has anyone figured out how to get wallpapers to scroll, besides stock? If not, let (me included) get on this. If there is one thing I love (as much as theming) it's wallpapers!
Haven't found one either. I miss that feature.

Get the app called Scrolling Wallpaper (crazy right?) from the market. Seems to be made specifically for the Galaxy S3 and it works great.

to bad its now working with live wallpapers
If you use a 3rd party launcher, like apex launcher [been using it on my Evo] and confirmed to scroll the wallpaper on the G S III.
If you do infact use apex launcher, just enable the scrolling option in the settings.

I tried apex with no luck. Yes, you can scroll default and live walls but not ones selected from the gallery.

You went into apex settings > home screen settings > wallpaper mode > check multiple screen [scrolling].
That should work, because my homescreen pic scrolls; doesn't work on live wallpapers though.

I'll have to look into that that. It worked on my wallpapers from my gallery, but not a live wallpaper; the lwp i had when I tried was the luminous dots.
Have you tried Wallpapyrus? That seems to always work when other ones haven't.

I used a gallery app(quickpic) and they seem to scroll fine
Is there an app or setting that will allow me to have a different wallpaper on my lock screen and home screen like on the iPad?
I tried an app called MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. It allowed me to have a picture for my lock screen, and a separate picture for my home screens. The problem was that the picture I was using for my home screens would take a second or two to load after I unlocked the device.
Perhaps there's another app that can yield better results, or some tweaks I can do with that particular app.

If you're willing to flash it, AOKP has that functionality

What about it?
He was on about using another app : Multi.....
I am saying doesn't just changing your background internally, (holding the homescreen and choosing gallery) also change the lock screen image?
Or does he want 2 images -
One for homescreen
One for lockscreen
If so my bad
Has anyone figured out how to set a picture as wallpaper without it being all zoomed in and crappy looking? This is really annoying and the phone doesn't seem to have many options for fixing this

Use a HIGHER res picture! This will solve the issue!
I use the app "Wallpaper Wizardrii" and it usually solves all of my wallpaper woes.

This worked perfect thanks! I didn't think a 5mp picture from my old phone was too low of a resolution but also the stock photo crop tool when setting wallpaper sucks!
Use Wallpapyrus

Just installed CyanogenMod 10.1 - Milestone 1 on my Nexus 10, and when I try to set one of the default or cyanogen wallpapers, they're blown way up, like it thinks the screen size is much larger than it really is. I can set downloaded images as wallpapers using wallpaper wizardrii, if I don't want to have to crop them strangely, but none of the default wallpapers work correctly. Hoping someone can help me figure out what the issue is.

Quickpic is helpful, but I'm just talking about the STOCK wallpapers. For whatever reason, all of the stock wallpapers appear blown up.

cant help with the stock wall issue, but if you want to set up your own custom images as wallpapers without the need for cropping use the app. Simple Image wallpaper free, it is live wallpaper app. does the job pretty good.
What the best one out there to put your paper on nicely? Looking for just a wallpaper changer

Been using 500 FirePaper for a few days now. Hands sown the best wallpaper app. So many photos categories to choose from with zero impact on battery drain.
Chainfire did it again.

I'll give it a try.
Gainos Fresh Wallpaper. It automatically retrieves new high quality high res photos either from Flickr or 500px or a match of the two based on a preset time. You never have the same wallpaper again. You can also preset tags if you're into something particular. It caches the last 10 wallpapers if you want to go back to anything you really like or missed.

+1 for 500 firepaper. They look amazing on our screens and I'm never bored with them. Plus almost 0 impact on battery or performance.
I have been trying Advanced Wallpaper Switcher and so far its been great
+1 advanced wallpaper switcher, very beautiful gallery HD
I'm liking 500 firepaper. I've installed other live wallpapers that promise to deliver random images, but this is the first one that actually looks good on my Tab 2.
Trinity wallpaper pack or minimal wallpapers. At least, that's my preferred style

Is there anyway to see the photos on firepaper and chose what we like, other than categories.
