Hi there,
I was wondering if is it just me or the Google Play Music app lags quite a bit when you run it in Playlist view? I have about twenty playlists, and at the start, it freezes for a few seconds before it lets me continue...
I have uploaded a video on YouTube demonstrating the problem:

Would appreciate if someone with an S4 could tell me if he/she has the same problem too!
(Sorry I can't post outside links yet!)

Hello everyone,
Are there any ways to have videos play while the phone is in locked mode like the music player? Sometimes i can only listen to my videos at work and with the screen on, battery life can only last several hours. Any help please? Thank you!
anyone any ideas?
this might work.
A definite work-around is to convert the videos to .mp3s and play them via the HTC Music Player.
Not sure if you would like that, though....
that reminds me of a cab I have called youtube play. it has the ability to make mp3s of the youtube video as you download it. sucks as a youtube player, but this functionality makes it worthwhile.
So i some problems when it comes to viewing my videos i record through the phone. After i record them and go into 3d gallery to play them, they come out very choppy, like its loading and just skips through parts. It really is annoying cause the only way to view my videos is to record them and place them onto computer to properly watch them. Is anyone else having this problem? I switch between CM and MIUI roms. Both cause the same problem, i get the feeling it my be either my sd card or 3d gallery.
Hey i have the same problem. Every time I record a video then play it, it plays all choppy and weird, but if you play that same video twice, the second time will play it smoothly. I still don't know why this is happening, I'm also thinking it has something to do with the memory card. Hopefully somebody can help us out here.
Videos work fine with stock software.
Sent from hell using XDA app
Anyone else with some kind of solution?
I went to YouTube tonight and tried to play a YouTube video and all I got was "Loading Video." The "circle" kept spinning around, but it was taking so long to "load," I had to discontinue.
#1- Why is this happening? Shouldn't the video load fairly quickly?
#2- Also, if the video did load and play, would it remain on my Elocity, taking up much needed free space? Do YouTube videos I play have to be deleted from some place on my Elocity?
Still don't know why the YouTube video didn't play.
Can anyone help please?

Just got my SM-T580, rooted it and froze some bloatware. Then I couldn't find the regular videoplayer app. I can see it in Titanium, it hasn't been frozen, but not in the drawer. Read that it is sort of integrated with Google's Play Movie & TV so defrosted that, but still no video app.
Never mind, thought I, plenty of other apps in Play. But why does every app play my imported and automatically converted video's in some sort of slow motion? Sound seems OK, but picture goes at half speed. Those videos (imported-converted) played OK on my SM-T320.
Any suggestions would be appreciated on both issues (where is video app and why slo-mo).
Hello everyone!
I was wondering if it is possible to play for example, play youtube in background(the app) with sound, then internet(samsung browser) without sound(for example, when browsing facebook, and i want to watch a video in my informationflow but not stopping the youtube video from playing) I've tried everything on google and alot of apps in playstore(.mostly volume controls) without success...
Anyone have an idea? Im on 7,0 touchwiz, more exactly Ultimate Nougat V2.6.
Excuse my spelling, formula and Thanks in advance.
