Hi Guys,
Is there a way by looking at the box you can tell if the galaxy s4 is a Snap Dragon or Exynos octacore version ?
Many people are selling them, some could be selling a USA version and passing it off as an international version.
Any help in regards to this is helpful.

If it's i9500, it's the international octa-core version.

I'm heard from various sources that I-9500 with octa -processor not support 4G (LTE).
Now i want buy I9500 from ebay: //cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190834430042
Seller wrote in description that this phone (I-9500) compatible with 4G (LTE). This is sounds realistic? Or it is mean that phone will work in 4G but with transfer speed of 3G?

The I9500 does not support LTE.

This one is cheaper but is an i9505 (quad core)
So far, the only Octa LTE SGS4 is from Korea. The model is not I9500, but SHV-E300S

Yes you can use LTE with International S4 with AT&T (use only stock roms) look for Unlock S4 and AWS...

International phone or ROM? Theres a difference.
i9500 or i9505
Both are S4 "International" versions. One (i9500) has Samsung's "Octa-Core" processor while the other (i9505) has the Snapdragon 600 quad core. The thing is, I don't believe the i9500 Octa core has LTE unless you get the Korean version.
If it's the i9505 version, there are some how-to's on here that might allow you to enable the ATT LTE bands.

The GT-I9505 with the snapdragon processor is THE same hardware of the AT&T phone. The GT-I9500 is the exynos octo-processor but as far as I know may/may not get the frequencies needed to run AT&T 3G and does not have LTE. I am not 100% sure but I ran into issues like this purchasing my S3 GT-I9300. At that time I bought the Gt-i9305 which had LTE but it would not get AT&T frequencies for 3G, so I sold it and got the 9300 that worked with AT&T but had no LTE.

Thee gt-i9505 has the exact same hardware including LTE. next time maybe you should search a bit before passing off false info

No LTE on the octacore. why would you want one of those pieces of crap? ALOT of developers don't want anything to do with it. and the chip itself is apparently just a huge flaw. Just go over to the int'l forum and read about it, personally your wasting your money if you by the octacore

But you'd have to make sure the network bands are compatible with your telco.
Personally, I'd recommend the I9505. Where I live, I get 40mbps LTE and there's plenty of Dev action here. We already have CM!

The korean supports any network and you recieve an external chrger for the battery and another battery i think.
i had the i9500 and he was Great but im still not sure...
The lte doesnt matter because in my country we are still not supporting LTE until 2015 or something like it ( i live in israel )
what about the htc one? havent tried it yet...
whats the best phone available ?

Um, no. The E300S/K/L all use different bands that are used by SKT, KT, and LG respectively. That's was the reason why I couldn't import one to Singapore. If the bands are compatible with your telco, you might wanna wait for the E330S (Snapdragon 800!!)
If LTE doesn't matter, then still get the I9505.
And as to the matter of which is the best phone, that is an old argument. As always there is no answer. Go compare the features of different phones: whether you want the waterproof xperia z, the sexy One, or the feature packed S4. They're all good choices. Good luck!

I have the I9500 and works great.... we dont have LTE though (Costa Rica) so there is no need of the other models
im talking about performance, whats the best?
about the E330s i cant use it.. i need HSDPA (3G) 850,2100 and it doesn't support.
im in a huge dilemma and i dont know which one to buy...
The HTC one wasnt launched on my country so i havent used it yet.
really i dont know what to do, i loved the GS4 but maybe ill love the HTC one more?
ill be in Hong Kong next month and i need to decide by then.

P.S - in Hong Kong they're selling all of the GS4 variants and all the variants of each phone.

From experience you want the snapdragon.
