Navigation bar vanished... Please help!

I installed an app called Full screen and it worked pretty well until I disabled it. At that point, my navigation bar did not come back and it's stayed hidden since. I've rebooted a few times and reinstalled the app but nothing's making the navigation bar appear.
I'm desperate not to have to wipe the tablet and start again so can anyone please suggest anything?

Download GMD gesture control (adds in multitouch pinching gestures like on the iPad) and enjoy the fact that you no longer have that screen wasting bar across your screen. The navigation bar was the first thing I removed when I got this tablet.

I'm always grateful for any help offered but that's like a doctor telling you to chop your arm off after you go to him with tennis elbow.

If you mean flashing back to stock: yes that should work.
If you mean clicking factory reset in recovery mode: probably not

Screenshot

From reading screenshot is supposed to be holding the home button and power button at the same time until a white flash appears. I am unable to get mine to do this, am I doing something wrong?

When I preform a screen shot I dont see the white flash, I just hear a click and the "saving screen shot" message in my notification bar.

Do I have to turn some option on somewhere? Not that this would be common... I can't get it to do anything but bring up the recently open list

Are you pushing them at the same time? If the home button is pushed first nothing happens, if power is pushed first recent apps c9mes uo.

It took me some tries to get the timing right - power then home RIGHT after and hold both until you get the screenshot flash.

Not sure then. Other way to take screen shot is palm swipe.
Settings > My Device > Motions and Gestures > palm motion > Screen capture
Ensure its on then with a "karate chop hand" swipe from one side to the other.

What thread do you think you're in? This is the Samsung GS4 thread. There is no "customizations" menu. If there is on the stock GS4, post me a screen shot and post a screen shot of your "about phone".

Is there a way to get 4 in1 power tool

As the title says can I get the 4 in 1 tool thats on most roms, the reason I dont want to go to the roms is because I really like a lot of the stock things and the roms take away from it, like I'm on force rom right now, and really like it for the most part, but I dont like how long pressing menu kills current app, and that on lock screen you cant swype right for faviorte apps also, I cant get s health, original home screen clock or watch on, the apk downloads, so if someone can help me figure out a way on this rom, would be greatly appreciated or if someone can help me get the 4 in 1 on stock that would be awesome also, thank you in advance

I would reccomend Sonic rom for you then. its fully stock with some things tweaked so if you wish to remove some apps some annoyings ones are moved to /apps section from /system and it has the 4 n 1 power tool.

it doesn't kill apps when long pressing menu? I also like having a good majority of the samsung bloat, just not the sprint stuff

That's the warp drive indicator. If you didn't connect your Bluetooth flux capacitor dongle its not going to do anything.

That icon is for Google Now. Swipe up (on a not frozen tablet) and it launches Now. I would just long press power and turn it back on if it's frozen. Not sure why it froze in the first place though.

Are you by chance using theftspy? I (at least used to) get this a LOT with theftspy... Its app is sitting "on top" but invisible in some cases.

I have restarted several times and went into recovery mode or whatever its called and tried the restart bootloader option and tried going into recovery. When i go into recovery it says (no command).Nothing will unfreeze it.

Anyone notice daydream isn't working properly on kitkat? Not sure if it's just me. My day dream just flickers the screen. I tried to do a screen capture, but the screen capture doesn't show the flicker

that was happening to me to, then all the sudden its working fine again. maybe it was turning the daydream feature on and off a bunch, but whatever I did fixed it.

I tried turning it off and on a bunch of times, and now it still does the same flickering, but now when I touch the screen, it says "day dream have stopped responding". Before it would just exit daydream mode. Now it crashes

So apparently holding down the recent apps button opens the menu feature in apps. So now that I have that function my Chase app has the ability to deposit checks again.

This is a personal issue... ie chase is doing this to you, not kitkat

Easy Tether does not work.

Hm, I have been waiting for new google now cards for two day and got 0. It shows "No cards" and when I tap it google now does not open.
Solved. I had to tap google now search bar. Now it works.

Chase Mobile KitKat
Chase mobile is not giving an option to make deposits on my new Samsung Note Pro with KitKat - any suggestions?

Just found the solution - if you are using a tablet hold the recent window button down and the menu pops up:fingers-crossed:
