so i followed the instructions in the other thread about unrooting and then i factory reset and it booted and takes me through the setup then right before it goes to the homescreen it says unfortunately settings has stopped and it dosnt go to the home any help please ?

A. You are in the wrong section for asking questions. The "Rules" sticky at the top of the DEV section clearly outlines this. You should also read this thread which is pinned right below it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2254274

Both metods works. I know some people have problem with Kies ( i never did) so that why other metod is posted.

I'm assuming you're on the MF3 build. If so, there's some good stuff pinned in the general section.

Can you verify your running a i337? Can you also specify what firmware your on? I would be glad help if you want it.

Why are you creating a whole new thread for a question? There is already an EasyRecowvery thread. There is also another section for Q&A.
