Whenever I get a "so and so has replied to a thread you're subscribed to" notification it just sits there "loading", indefinitely. I always have to go open the app to see the reply. Already uninstalled/installed a couple times. It's done this since the day I first downloaded the app.

Same here. I assume we just need to wait for an update

Anyone else having problems with the xda app on their vibrant?
Mine will let me post, edit, and reply, but after said post is submitted, the app force closes.

Yeah I got that problem once then never happened again. Wasn't much of a big deal for me since the post still went thru.

I'm using the full Tapatalk app on XDA and it hasn't done that to me. Check for an update, that might help.
I updated all my apps that needed updating an hour ago. The xda app was not detected as having an upgrade available.

Exact same issues here.
There was an upgrade recently and I haven't used the app since but it has been updated within the last 3 days to fix an issue when saving favorites and maybe a few other things I don't remember. If some of you might recall, selecting one section to save to favorites would select the link below. I was going to say that this update might be causing the error.
I had the same issue with the previous version too.
The funny thing is, it would crash reliably every time I hit submit... Until I started this thread... Now its working fine...

I didn't even know there was an XDA App until I saw this thread. Works great!

Well.... A couple of posts worked fine and then it crashed for me too. :-/
Well, now it's crashing again after every post.

It doesn't really help by saying that its crashing without a log or logcat.contact the developer with the logcat. Hasn't cashed on me after the first time.

I like it. my biggest complaint about the gmail app was that it doesnt show how many you have.

Edit: that's to turn it off, but I see now that I haven't answered your question. My bad.

Is there anyway to get persistent notifications? I am using jellybro and my wife is still stock. Neither ROM seems to support the feature.
I want my phone to beep every few minutes to remind me of missed calls and text messages.

Exactly! You are the man! Don't understand why such a basic feature was removed from android. Doesn't seem like I should need an app for this. Thanks a million!

When finishing installing a new app a message pops up saying that I dont have any room on the page .has anyone noticed this message. My s4 is not rooted.
Sent from my GT-I9500 using xda app-developers app
Its because in your playstore settings, automatic creation of widget of the new app is selected, hence whenever you install a new app, play store tries to create a widget for that app. You homescreens are full so it displays the message. De select the option and the message will not flash any more.

One thread was more than enough.
No need to post multiple ones.
Stick with one

A simple factory reset is able to solve your problem. But having stock recovery and all, all data will be lost though. So better make a backup of what's inside the sd card.
