i rooted my mobile using alpharev and it turned my s-off and installed clockwork recovery mod 3.0.0.6 ,later i downloaded cynogen mod 7, and while updating it hung on now it is not at all booting it just shows htc in boot screev and reeboots again and again pls help me
Go back into recovery, wipe data and cache and the reflash CM7
Its definitely not bricked, so dont worry. Firstly, make sure you have wiped all data in Clockworkmod (Wipe Data / Factory Reset Option, Wipe Cache Partition also Format /system under Advanced). Once you have done this, try reflashing the CM7 ROM File. It should work. Reboot into Recovery by turning off your phone, pressing Vol Down + Power, Navigating to Recovery, and Pressing Power Button on it.
If it still fails, it would be better to use an updated version of Clockworkmod Recovery. This solved the bootloop issue for a few users.

Please don't multi post. Update your Clockworkmod Recovery then. The guide can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14693680
I had nothing but trouble using recorver 3.0.0.6 . Recovery 3.1.0.2 amd 2.5.07 have worked flawless for me though.
could u pls tell me how to update Clockworkmod Recovery , i downloaded ur file but i dont know how to update it
could u pls tell me how to update Clockworkmod Recovery
- First, Download the attachment in that thread, Place it somewhere, like on your C Drive, in a Folder called Fastboot.
- Then, Download the Updated Clockworkmod Recovery (Again linked in that thread). Extract the Recovery.img file from within the Zip file and place it in the Fastboot folder created in the step before.
- Connect your Wildfire to your PC. Turn it off, and turn on in HBoot Mode. (When your phone is switched off, then Press Vol Down + Power Simultaneously. Then, Navigate to Fastboot using the Volume Keys, and Press the Power Button. Your Wildfire is now in Fastboot Mode.
- Then, Open Command Prompt, and put in the following. (I am assuming your folder is created in C > Fastboot)
cd\
cd Fastboot
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
(In the third step, I am assuming that the file name of the updated Clockworkmod Recovery is recovery.img) It will show two steps - Sending Recovery, and Writing Recovery. After this is done, your phone has the newer version of Clockworkmod Recovery and you can flash the ROM all over again and test.

Command Prompt is to be opened on your Windows PC. Not on your mobile. Once you have entered into Fastboot Mode and your Wildfire is connected to your PC, thats all you need to do.
Open Start Menu. Then Select Run. Then type "cmd" (Without Quotes) and Press Enter. This will open the Command Prompt. Then follow what I said before.
(Note - If your folders name is fast boot, then replace fastboot in the commands above with fast boot. It's basically the name of your folder).
Rename the IMG file you extracted to Recovery.img, it will typing the command easier.
Lastly, my only request to you - Make only 1 post at a time. Others here are normal members and not someone with the full day free . When you continuously post something, its frustrating to read and I dont feel like replying anymore to that person.

Dont worry about it. That was just my view.
Anyway, I hope the folder creation was correct. I hope that when you extracted the Android Win Tools folder into your C:\Fastboot folder, you deleted the original folder?
ie:, In your Fastboot folder, you shouldnt have any other folder/sub folder, and it must contain only these 4 files:
- adb.exe
- AdbWinApi.dll
- AdbWinUsbApi.dll
- Fastboot.exe
Once you have ensured this, then make sure you enter Fastboot mode on your Wildfire Correctly.
- Start HBoot mode
- Then Plug in the USB Cable
- Press Power Button, then another set 4 Options will appear, the first being Fastboot
- Then Press Power Button again
After this, try running the commands in command prompt again. Let me know how it goes.
And it you still face any issues with fastboot flashing, then see my sign for the post link to complete guide. Go there and download attached pc49img.zip and put it on your root of memory card (formatted previously with fat32 partition) . Then reboot to hboot menu to update the recovery. That's all.

Great, Hope they were followed by the words "OK". If so, you have the new Recovery 3.2.0.0 on your Wildfire.
Getting the hang of Fastboot is very important IMO. It helps flashing Recoveries in 1 go, and, also helps restoring Nandroid Restores, among many other features. I am glad you have experienced it, and, not gone the "PC49IMG" way.
Here We have the Root And CWM for Nexus 7 On Android 4.2.2!

Step 4 and step 7
I am a little confused about step 4 as I didn't think any nexus 7's had a SD card slot. I purchased mine right from google. I just put the zip file directly on the device itself and I know from my experience with my old Nexus One that this works too, just wondering who is selling the one with SD card slots. My second question, and really the more important one is step 7. I have tried to make the device go into fastboot several times and when I hold the volume keys down, the device boots to a black screen with no ability to do anything after that. If I mess with the power button (meaning I hold it in for a long time then let it out, and do this several times) I can get the device to preform a normal boot. Any thoughts?
thanks
Thanks its worked for my nexus 7..

Thanks a million man! I was having all kinds of trouble updating to 4.2.2 and finally figured that out. Then I was having problems rooting again until I found this. Your method worked great but I used TWRP instead and it still did the trick. Thanks again.
I tried this but when I want to flash the recovery, my fastboot.exe will then not respond and will try to close. What gives?
Step 7 - Now go into Fastboot Mode on Nexus 7. How? Press Volume Down + UP + Power key for a few seconds till you see some text on the screen.

Just a quick note here, to enter Fastboot Mode you just need to turn the Nexus 7 off, then turn on again, soon as you see the Google logo press the Volume Down key and hold (Hold both Power button and Volume Down Key).
No need for holding the power button, the vol down button does the whole trick
worked for me. thanks very much

re-install the fastboot with all it's extensions in the same folder!
If you want to use fastboot by a easy way, use this guide you don't need adb line command, just fastboot line command and it's an child game by this way
If you have got a problem with your adb or fastboot or recovery....it's very simply and faster
use this:
Download this file "Fastboot.zip"
Install this file somewhere in one folder which is named "fastboot" on your PC
=> disk C: root
Unzipped this file on the folder "fastboot" and you will find 3 files:
- adb.exe
- AdbWinApi.dll
- fastboot.exe
and when you need to push something by the bootloader, you can use it.
Don't forget to push on this folder the file that you need. For exemple: boot.img or a recovery.img, etc...
The line command is :
Code:
c:\fastboot>
Enter
Code:
c:\fastboot>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Enter
If you want to flash the "recovery.img" file
If you want to flash a boot.img:
Code:
c:\fastboot>fastboot flash boot boot.img
******************************************************************

If you want to know all lines of command
Code:
c:\fastboot>fastboot
Code:
usage: fastboot [ <option> ] <command>
commands:
update <filename> reflash device from update.zip
flashall flash boot + recovery + system

Yes, it is a prerequisite if you want to root your android device.
Ok, so I am running the 4.2.2 update, and after jumping through numerous hoops trying to have my device recognized by adb, I just want to make sure that my very first step should be to boot up in fastboot mode and then issue the following command...
"fastboot oem unlock"
???
Then I can go ahead and proceed to flashing the CWM recovery and flashing the SuperSU file...?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
EDIT: I've tried multiple times, but everytime I boot into "fastboot" mode, which I guess is another way for saying the bootloader, ADB loses its connection with my Nexus 7! Also, if it helps anyone to know, I'm running Win7 64-bit.....I'm not sure if that matters, but the first time I booted up into fastboot mode, my computer recognized it and installed it as an "Android Bootloader Interface" in the Device Manager! When the device boots up normally, ADB does recognize it again, and it also shows up differently in the Device Manager (Android Composite ADB Interface)! ANY help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I obviously can't issue commands to a device that ADB can't see when it's in fastboot mode!

Hi, vmancini3...
Forget about ADB when your tablet is in FASTBOOT/BOOTLOADER mode...
Here are the salient commands....
Code:
fastboot devices
- should return a serial number to confirm your FASTBOOT connection -
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
- will unlock the BOOTLOADER and will WIPE and FACTORY RESET THE DEVICE; unfortunate, but necessary .
--------------------
With the BOOTLOADER unlocked, begin to set up your Nexus 7 again... as though it was a brand new, just purchased tablet... ie., country, regionalization, WiFi key... etc.
Go online with your Nexus 7 browser (Chrome), and download Chainfire's SU Updater .ZIP package from here...
http://download.chainfire.eu/310/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.04.zip
Upon completion of this download, shut down the tablet.
--------------------
Reboot again into FASTBOOT/BOOTLOADER mode... VOL down button + POWER ON button.
From your PC, run this command...
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
....where the recovery.img is your CWM or TWRP .img file.
Both of which are available here...
CWM - http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
TWRP - http://www.teamw.in/project/twrp2/103
--------------------
Congratulations.... you've just FLASHED a CUSTOM RECOVERY!!!
--------------------
When the self-congratulatory round of self applause has died down, ... and with the Nexus 7 still in FASTBOOT/ BOOTLOADER MODE, use the VOL buttons to navigate and the POWER button to select... reboot into RECOVERY.
Using the new CUSTOM RECOVERY, flash Chainfires SU updater package that you downloaded earlier... usually found in the /download folder...
Done.
Reboot.
Rooted.
--------------------
I really don't understand why some people seem to have a problem with this procedure... it takes less time doing it, than actually describing how to do it.
Rgrds,
Ged.
Hello guys!
Is your Yu Yureka stuck at the YU boot logo?
Is it not booting any further?
Here you can find the perfect solution to your problem!

Lets unbrick your device
First of all you will need to download the following files: (remove spaces and the links will work)
1. Minimal ADB Fastboot tool: drive. google. com/file/d/0ByxhrvEhhF3FSFU4SnNFR0hSYmc/view
2. Latest release Cyanogen Recovery and CyanogenMod build (ROM): download. cyanogenmod. org/?device=tomato
3. TWRP Recovery: drive. google. com/file/d/0ByxhrvEhhF3Fc0d6S0hMRTNQSW8/view
Now install the Minimal ADB and Fastboot tool.
After the program is installed correctly, open C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot in your computer.
Copy the CyanogenMod build(ROM) zip file in an external SD card and insert the SD card in your phone.
Now rename the Cyanogen recovery image your downloaded before to recovery.img and then copy it in the Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder. Do copy the twrp.img also in the same folder.
In the folder, hold shift and right click anywhere in the empty space, there will be an option, "open command window here", click that. This is will open cmd prompt window.
Before continuing any further, make sure your device is charged at least 50%.
Now take the battery out from your Yu Yureka and connect it to the computer with the help of micro USB cable.
Yes, connect it without the battery, make sure its connected properly.
after connecting the phone, type this command in the cmd prompt:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
If your device is detected and everything will be working, then this will flash the stock cyanogen recovery to your phone.
(Note:You must have renamed it and copied it to the folder as mentioned above )
Now remove the cable from your device, insert the battery, then hold volume up, volume down as well as power button simultaneously for a few seconds. This will take you to the recovery mode.
Format all your data and cache with help of the recovery option.
Now attach the cable again and type this commandin the command prompt:
adb fastboot bootloader
Wait till the device boots into the fastboot mode, thn type this command in the command prompt:
fastboot boot twrp.img
([OPTIONAL] Note: if you want to flash the TWRP recovery permanently on your phone, then type this command instead:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
and then manually reboot into recovery mode)
Now you will boot into TWRP recovery. Go to "wipe" option, followed by "advance" option then mark all option you see except sdcard, and wipe it all. This will delete all your data.
Now go to "install" option in the main recovery page. Direct to External SD card and find the CyanogenMod build you copied earlier to it. Then install it.
This will take time. After the installation will complete, TWRP will display the message "Successful".
Then reboot your phone. This will take at most 45 mins to install. So, kepp patients and wait till it boot completely.
Here you go!
your Yu Yureka is unbricked now.
I have tried this on my own Yureka and it works fine
Thank you all! :good:

:good:

how can u connect the device in fastboot mode without the battery????
I need help guys because i lost my twrp recovery while flashing the xenon rom. The problem is now my phone is also not detected in adb devices in my laptop. I am running windows 10 i had installed twrp from this laptop. When ever i connect and give command ADB DEVICES the it doesn't show any devices found. I had installed all the drivers. My phone is running in the xenonhd rom. Pls help me how i can install twrp and how to correct adb.
Sent from my Lenovo A6000 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Lenevo A6000 Unbrick/Fix For Any Problem
It's common since, when modified, the A6000 doesn't have a way to directly boot into recovery without a System or ADB command (Power Hold > Reboot > Recovery and "adb reboot recovery" respectively). However you can always boot into Download mode which acts as an emergency subsystem at any time. Have a quick guide on how to do that and you'll be flashing away custom ROMs again in no time.
(Optional but recommended steps will be market with an asterisk (*))
Disclaimer: You are doing everything out of your own free will and volition. I am in no way responsible to any potential damage you might cause to your device. This can occur in cases of not following the guide properly.
Below is the fix for problems when the phone has no OS to reboot from. In case of Xenon which is rooted, follow this:
Easy Guide
(This is for when a phone already has an OS to boot from)
1. Open Terminal Emulator
2. Write
Code:
su
reboot recovery
(On any Superuser permissions pop-ups press Grant.)
3. Follow Steps 4 and 5 from the guide bellow.
Downloads
If you are on Kitkat (4.4.X), Download This (Mirror)
If you are on Lolipop (5.X.X), Download This (Mirror)
If you are not sure, download both and try both, no damage should be done.
[Source]
Instructions
1. Download all the prerequisite files.
2. Power Off Your Phone by removing the battery.* (See Note 1)
3. Hold the Volume Down and Power keys until the phone vibrates once and the Lenovo screen appears. At the bottom it should say "Powered by Android" and under it some small Chinese letters and "Power key long press can reboot phone". (See Note 2)
4. Extract the downloaded ZIP files anywhere you want. You should end up with a "TWRP" folder.
5. Open that TWRP folder and run "Boot-TWRP_A6000.bat"
6. If everything went well, you should be in TWRP recovery. Flash your desired ROM following the instructions from their thread, and everything should now be fine. (See Note 3)
Notes
1. I have noticed that sometimes my phone will not recognize that it's in Bootloader mode and will try to boot normally after a few seconds along with the fastboot not recognizing it. Theory: it doesn't shut down completely when rebooted via Holding the Power button, and tries to boot like nothing is wrong. I don't have a concrete fix, the best i can offer is to try different button combinations. (Vol. Down+Power / Vol. Up+Power / Vol. Up+Vol. Down+Power)
2. If you get the problem described in Note 1 do steps 4 and 5 before step 3. The .bat script will wait for the phone, as soon as it detects the Bootloader it will do it's job.
3. If something went wrong, leave a reply, I'll see if i can guide you through it. Remember to follow instructions carefully!
