Is there a sticker on the rear camera of the S4? I noticed a clear sticker like thing on the camera that is catching lint and dust. Can we remove this or is it permanent? Thanks.
yup, just a sticker. The phone is full of them. Safe to remove

Seems to me that it catches dirt. That would increase the chance of the lens becoming scratched

So i just got my refurb a week later.
I noticed some things...
1) The plastic it came with had a little hole for the FFC lol.
2) the camera band-outside is green instead of clear like my old one... is this a different camera or something?
and....
IT HAS 2.2!!!!!!!!!!!
A modified phone? you should change it again, or stay if you like FFC?

the camera's on refurb/replacement phones have this little blue platsic stuff to protect the camera bezel in travel. it's not a solid sheet, it's just a "ring".

I am having a very hard time removing the rear cover. I've removed the two screws but I still can't seem to get any of my plastic case opening tool in. What gives? I'm almost questioning the importance of those two screws...

I have a Samsung galaxy note 4 SM-N910F, KNOX 2.2
The problem is that my SPen don't work on all the screen surface , I will attach a photo. I have this problem in any application and menu . If I'm using the finger, that surface it's ON, but ...
if ya use case , remove it and try again , if it didnt work , return it and get another one

Same problem just in other areas
Got the same problem. Software issue?
Sorry to hear this. Just tested on my phone using screen write. 100% of the screen works, currently no case if that matters at all.
So, should we use the warranty?

I had the same problem.
In my case it was the case (haha) which contained magnets which interfered with the spen.
Magnets!
Thanks!!! That solved the problem, its the case and magnets.

If this is happening to you on a naked phone, absolutely. Do not settle - if anything see if your carrier can help you out since it was a lemon.

mine was a flip/book case which used magnets to keep the lid shut.

my phone was replaced immediately in the store.
I found in the lower left rear side a crease in the body, it now is a crack. EE have reluctantly replaced it.
I will now have a gold phone instead of titanium grey.
Pictures of the old phone? That would make this thread more helpful, I think.

Do you mean the line from the removable part? Yeah a lot (maybe all?) of them seem to have that. I could see that bugging me if I weren't encased.
Or is it something else? If so, no, not sure I can see it.

I thought it was just a line? I looked at it when i was at work under a magnifying glass. Its actually a split/ crack in the paint nor plastic coating.
So i thought screw that?
