Samsung pullout menu problem

Hi guys.
Is it just me or does anyone else have the annoyance of the blue round pull out menu that wont go away?
If anyone knows how to disable this permanently it would be most appreciated .

So I am running eclipse ROM and there is a constant menu key and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the constant menu key and just get the stock where it only shows on apps that need it.

Home button unlock.

Is there any way to make it so the home screen button doesn't wake the screen?

I believe you can disable them.
Go to the settings menu and application data and go to all and click on which app you want to get rid of and hit turn off.
