Last night I went to a concert and took a few videos there, when I got home I tried to play it and realized that the sound is horrible and the videos are worthless... I thought maybe the speakers where too loud but my girlfriend took great videos with her iPhone 4,so that takes me to the conclusion that there is a problem with our camcorder...
Is there any solution for that? Or any work done in order to find one?
Maybe lower the microphone gain?
You can do this with fauxsound, but you need a custom kernel.

It's the microphone gain, it's way too high. You can do it with experience pro if you have root if you don't want a custom kernel. Its a paid app but it's very useful.
Does any of this really work?

Hi,
It is kind of really annoying, the sound (earphone) isn't lound enough, I really like when it is loud. I do have good earphone, on my iPad, it can be so much loud that I could get deaf. Anything to fix ? I've tried 3 differents Volume Booster on the Google Market and it makes a little louder but still not enough and break all the sound quality.
Thanks you ! I'm runing Stock 4.1.1
Anyone plase?

Hmm I see :/ Can't we somehow fix that ? Is it only Nexus 7 or all Android Tablets?

Nope, it is what it is. It sounds like you already tried something like Volume+ to boost the volume. It helps a little, but it starts sounding bad if you crank it too high and you could possibly damage it too. I have Volume+ set to 7, which gives a bit of a boost without messing up the audio much.
Yeah I see :/ Is it a hardware limit or software related?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
I think it's hardware since every software hack to make it louder gives a little boost and then it sounds like crap.

Oh well that sucks :/ Why didn't google bother to use a good sound card for headphone
What if I use Blutooth hearphone? Is it going te be as great as an iPad?

People have been reporting broken speakers when playing too loud. Just be cautious

I find the volume of my Nexus 7 just fine, both internal speaker and headphone. But I guess the experience can vary between people and device...

Really Why not
It's not necessarily hardware, my asus transformer had low volume, then an os update sorted that all out. Have you tried out different apps to see if the problem is there on all of them. I noticed that netflix volume is pretty low but youtube is fine. It's a bit of a pain to do, but it might be worth backing up your apps and trying a factory reset.
Oh well I change rom so often that it will unlikely change anything

Unless you use Bluetooth speakers. I had a Logitech Boombox arrive today. Works great.
Hello so I have a stock Nexus 4 that's was working perfectly a days ago but now won't play sounds( besides notification sounds) through the built in speakers only through my headphones. It just happen randomly stop. It won't play any of my movie, music or YouTube videos. I have not done anything to the phone besides drop it once but that was 2 weeks ago when I got it and everything work. Is this a good enough reason for Google to send me a replacement

Hello, I ask if any developer can create twiks or mod to record in slow motion, as is the case for the Galaxy Note 3. Thank you for your hard work
guys but there is no developer who is able to do this mod? from the community would be greatly appreciated ... thanks
Why?
There are many slow motion camera apps in the play store or simply record in 60 fps and convert it to 24 fps.
If you want more you can use after effects of twixtor (or many other apps) to interpolate frames on your pc but that's a too big task for a phone.

perhaps I have not explained well, I require a mod for lg g2 can record in slow motion as it happens for other devices (Samsung Galaxy Note 3, etc..) that mount the snapdragon processor. I do not need the post-production of the movie, but a real camera in slowmotion. I think playing on Build.propr and profiles CameraMedia, it manages to achieve what most users want. thanks

Yessss!!!!
Essentially, he's looking for a camera than can shoot 120fps.
I was wondering the same thing myself. It seems as if the camera/processor are both capable of such a thing, but there's no software support yet.
At least I don't think so.
I'm pretty sure jisnu was working on this mod. I think he said something about 4.4 having a proper software for 120 fps.

Hi to all community, since I upgraded to KitKat I get a strange "buzzz" sound while playing music, this occurs me on ANY KK ROM (now I'm using CM w/HellsDoctor) I noticed that this happens with more frequency when the network (WiFi, 3G, Antenna) is busy.
I want to know if I'm the only one with this issue, or if any one knows a fix for this..
Thank you very much ^^

Is it constantly? Because people have reported a distortion like buzzing in music since kitkat. It's like a split of a second the music will sound really cranky and be normal again.
I have this issue only when using Poweramp with headphones, though. All other players and outputs work fine.

me too...
I've had this happens on KitKat when I'm making a call.....
Can anyone recommend a good audio app for the s5, I used to use voodoo but it hasn't been updated in over a year, just wondering if there is a good quality alternative that's in development.
Don't mind if it's free or paid for as long as it works and does the job ?

Flash a kernel that supports Fauxsound.
What I am trying to achieve is Spotify comes through quiet via the hdmi in my car, on Bluetooth it's fine but I use the hdmi for touchscreen on my head unit, so would like to increase it via the hdmi, I've installed viper but the car is in the garage having some custom made bell housings done so I won't be able to test it till next week.
I'll test fauxsound after, I have used fauxsound before but I was just to increase speaker loudness on the phone itself.
