Nexus 7 & Phone Charger

I have a droid razr and that phone comes with a phone charger that has 2 usb ports on it so you can simultaneously charge 2 devices. Last night I ran both my droid razr maxx and my Nexus 7 on that charger. I woke up in the morning after about 7-8 hrs of charging to find that my nexus 7 had only charged to approx 40% over night while my razr was completely full. Did this happen because I was not using the nexus "stock" 2amp charger or are there other issues at play here? Thanks for the replies.
I use my Samsung phone charger because it's the one plugged up beside my bed. I'm pretty sure it is a 1.0 amp and it charges just fine. I also use my Samsung car charger with the N7.

Unless your charger can provide at least 1A to both ports simultaneously, then it's probably a 1A charger but the 1A is split between both ports (effectively making it 500mA to each port when both ports are in use). It's been determined that with the stock cable, the Nexus 7 can only draw 1A (even though it comes with a 2A charger) so to get the same charging performance as the stock charger, your other charger should provide at least 1A to whatever port it's plugged into.

Charging problems

Hey everyone, I have a DROID X all stock with the latest 2.3.3 build from verizon. The phone is 25 months old. The last couple of days my chargers do not charge my phone correctly. The charger will shut off after 5% or so. It sometimes wont even register as charging. Is their something wrong with my phone that I can fix my self? Has anyone else had this problem with any phone? Please help.
DROID DOES ....DROID X and DROID XYBOARD.
How does the charger shut off? I never heard of that before.
Since you are all stock ...buy a new battery!!!
The only other issue would be fualty charger. Check on ebay you can get deals for under 10$ for charger and two batteries.
Sometimes if you root ( not your case)
When the battery dies you will not be able to charge as plugging in charger on a dead battery will only bring you to boot recovery.
Gl!

may be a connection issue, will it charge connected to pc?
after 2 years it could be battery, phone, or charger
charger should have an output 5v/0.7A or more
edit: 0.5A or more

Help, dont know how to charge

Hello guys, i have a razr maxx and it is without system and when i try to use Fastboot it says : "batter low" cant program.
How can i charge my razr maxx? i have the official motorola charger, the motorola usb cable and other chargers, like a universal charger. do i have to charge it on my PC with the usb cable? or with the charger, at the wall? thanks, bye
* when i plug the razr maxx on the pc a white light appears on the top of the razr, do it means that is charging?
This is the RAZR m section bro... not RAZR maxx...
Anyways... that would be caused by the charger having too low output power, putting it in fastboot. Incidentally, your battery is discharged, hence the message regarding the battery... try using a wall charger

Nexus 4 (non-rooted) battery calibration doubt !

Guys... I have a nexus 4 which is not rooted yet, running on stock android OS, android lollipop 5.0.1.
I know the manual procedure to calibrate a battery (charge till 100% in one go - discharge without charging in between or connecting phone to any device by USB till phone turns off - again charge from 0%-100% in one go). I do it with the stock charger provided with my phone.
But now I have a doubt.. What if I use a turbo charger to calibrate the battery !
Will the battery be calibrated efficiently as the charging is a bit fast with turbo charger.
And also.. What if I calibrate using a power bank, I have 2 power banks.. One charges phone fast like a turbo charger.. Other one is a bit slow.. Like the stock charger...
Will there be any difference between the battery calibration done with stock charger, phone connected to PC using USB, using turbo charger, a slow charging power bank and a fast charging power bank ? Does charging speed affect battery calibration ?
P.S. - While charging phone using both the power banks, it shows charging on AC.
Please someone clear my doubt.
Thanks

Battery to 100% charging off of laptop?

After getting my wifes Nexus 7 rooted, romed and new kernel, I tried all of the wall chargers but it would not charge passed 45%. On a whim I chargered it off my laptop and IT IS FULL. Why?
Off the top of my head, I'd say that you have low power chargers. Do you still have the original OEM charger?

I started with the OEM charger, even tried her Kindle Fire charger, and two other chargers but only got to 45%.
I use a quick charger I got with my HTC works great and charges faster then OEM charger.
