I wanted to know...which color did you get or which color will you prefer and why
Black Mist or White Frost?!?
I always thought black phones looked better.

I has the white s3 and hated it. Looks cheap and tacky. The darker colours are so much better
I think samsung itself prefers white as all accessories included in the box are allways white no matter the phone is white or black also I noticed that if you remove the back cover the phone is covered with white internal

I like black also bcoz the screen looks much more vivid and sharp with black bezel. And when the screen is turned off, it kind of merges with a the black bezel around it and the phone looks much more beautiful

An available black one pretty much sold me on getting the S4. I was disappointed in the color choices for the S3. I always prefer black.

It appears that the BestBoyZ are at it again. Over in Germany there's been a leak of a supposed white-backed Samsung Nexus S. This Google phone has been the firecracker of the past few weeks as far as speed and overall fun factor go here in the states, now it's in white? Man, it's like they're in there own little world, these Google phones.

Is white the new white? Case color offerings seem to be all the rage these past few weeks, with several phones leaking the idea that their battery covers, back cases, and entire cases would be offered in more than just black. This Nexus S appears to have only a white back with a black front, giving it a rather unique look for such an already-wild device.

The power button and the volume rocker (Im assuming) is white as well. I will be grabbing one as well as soon as it becomes available.
Don't like it. Love the sleek all black look of the current NS.

Well seeing as there is no Black version, it would be Blue vs White
Trick is the Blue is so dark that it looks like Black(the battery cover)!
Good Luck finding the White one. I gave up and got the "Blue" one and I could not be more happy. I like white devices...but I did not want to wait.
Blue and if you want white, get a white case.
Plus the prices for white are ridiculous.
Appears bigger than the blue ones. White is a classic clean look.
Lots of envy look from blue note users who wished they had waited.
I like white gadgets but the white bezel around deep black amoled screen doesn't really work for me. So I went for the hybrid solution: got the black (dark blue) Note and bought the white battery door separately.
We'll see how it looks, since I haven't received the white door yet. Hopefully, I'll get a look that's close to my old white iphone 3g.

I had a choice between the black/blue and the white and went for the white. It's clean, classy and looks great set up by the SuperAMOLED's vibrancy. I have posted some photos of my Note in the other White Note thread here on XDA.
In fact, I bought the white first but returned it after a few days. Now I got the black (or midnight blue) one, and I think this looks cooler than white..reasons:
1. The back cover of the white version is just plain, and the Samsung logo is boringly flat and non-reflective. In the dark version the back cover is beautifully textured, while the logo is not flat and is reflective.
2. The metallic ring around the white version is just simply metal. I like the gun metal color in the dark one.
The above two reasons make the dark version seems more subtle than the flashy white version.
3. Dusts are easily accumulated inside the gap between the glass and the metallic edge. This will be more obvious in the white version than the dark one.
I vote white (well since I have one), it looks pretty amazing. The black is too boring imho

The white's back cover is boring to me.
At my place here, the white is as abundantly available as the black. But mostly are the girls who buy them.

Wonder if the white's colour will turn yellowish over time? It does happen to some white plastic products that I own, though admittedly these are not gadgets. I've heard about white iphone turning yellowish due to heating, or something to that effect.
I had some agnoising moments as well and finally went with the black. A white would mean it can get dirtier more easily, may even turn yellow (though not proven), and I may even have problems finding accessories that match. Besides, as someone pointed out in another thread, black is more immersive when you're viewing videos, reading ebooks, etc.
Oh well, those are thoughts I used to console myself and to stop the paralysis by analysis process.
Anyway online sells the battery door... multicilour...

This may seem a bit odd but I'd still like to hear your opinions please...
I've had a black sgs2 for a couple of months, rooted and custom ROM etc.
My other half has just received a white sgs2 upgrade but she rather keep he old Nokia and has given me the opportunity to keep it and sell my black one...
Which one do i keep (without considering white one may sell for more etc)?

I think the white one sells for alot more because its newer and not rooted/custom roms.
But its all personal preference, if you like the white one more, then keep the black one
Wouldn't have thought it would be worth more cause of the colour. If it does make more I would definitely trade that few pound for the classy white look. I've got the white one and bought some skins for it. My favourite being white sgs2 with a black vented cover. Looks really smart with the white showing thru the black vent wholes. Just my opinion and preference, but hope this helps mate!

I was really really disappointed in Samsungs galaxy S II white version. The colour and feel with the silver aluminium on the phone looks tacky and cheap. They did an awesone job with the Galaxy S white version. That one was actually called i9000 ceramic white.....whereas the sgsII really doesn't look like a 500pound phone ....

Its a UK phone from 3 network - 16GB...I don't think it has NFC! Is it likely to be locked? Can I unlock without rooting?
i have the Black one, and my Brother has the white i don't like the battery cover the black one comes with.. if anyone would like to supply me a source for a plastic gloss back cover as on the white one ill be very grateful

Not only girls.
This is thee same purple tone Sony has been using on their slim premium VAIO laptops for a while and it just looks amazing in person.
It takes the laptop out of the bunch. I've had 3 or 4 purple VAIOs (N505 and a couple of Z series).
White is cool but black is just amazing, elegant and glassy. I can't maake up my mind

There's just something about the black version that makes it stand out. Very sleek and classy looking it is in black. Yes, it's a fingerprint magnet for sure, but I can forgive that in such a sexy looking phone.
I was in two minds as to whether to go for the black or the white. But after much deliberation I have plumped for the black.

Black, for sure. Looks so elegant and classy, also makes it look sleak, and if something's on it, it'll be less able to see than with the white/purple version.

I still haven't gone to Verizon and pre ordered mines because I don't know what color to get. They told me they are positive that it won't sell out so I don't need to pre order anyway but still...What color did you pick and why? I'm leaning towards white but I'm not sure yet.
In my opinions the screen looks better with a black phone. I had a white s3 and always thought the screen didn't look that good. The I got the identical phone in black and everything just looked better.

I was a little tempted to get the white one. Initially, my reasoning was that ALL of my phones are always black. I was thinking that always having a black phone is getting a little stale, so maybe I'd mix it up a little. However, I'm really not that into white phones. I would have gone with a blue perhaps, like the S3 I used to have. Also, I've heard that the non-black versions of the Note 3 have more of a glossy back cover compared to the black one's more matte finish, so there was that too.

From some video reviews, looks like the black version has the additional "soft-touch" coating on the back where the white one does not, just hard plastic. If that matters to you.

It certainly does. I have a white S3, still undecided on the Gnote (need to know more about real-life reception etc. and am still waiting for the dumbphone upgrade from another line to kick in so I can keep my unlimited data) but this solidified my decision to get a black one.

Black Note 3 because the bezel will blend with the screen, also according to reviews it has a premium look compared to the white
Black Galaxy Gear because I don't want to draw anymore attention to it then I will already get. It will mostly hide under my sleeve.
I got black because I'm used to having black phones and also I think black looks better.

I live in the tropics, but still went for black. It just looks so much better, most especially when the screen is off.

I hope it does. My Alienware laptop has a lovely 'rubberised' coating on the metal. It is much easier to hold, and generally feels much nicer.

Black because I like the screen to seamlessly merge with the bezels when I am reading at night. Again black is just classic. One never goes wrong with this color.
I got a white one, much prefer in hindsight the black one.
I'll get the black also, I've never had a white phone before hat3 to see te black sensors on the front of the device like tiny little imperfections, it should be at least simetrical but that's just me nitpicking. Black just like a notebook.

1] cuzz I'm a guy... the white one just looks "girly" to me (opinion)
2] dirty hands... don't see myself keeping a white phone clean looking (esp.with the textured back and stitching)
3] front camera and sensors blend with the bezel better instead of showing up like a turd in the punchbowl
4] black and chrome just looks good... white and chrome?... not so much (opinion)
5] reviews showing the feel of the black finish is better... I don't think it's more rubberized... just more of a soft matte finish instead of gloss
