Try using old apk of youtube which doesn't need play services if you can. I can provide the apk with download function.

Ok. First, what can I do to improve my battery life? I had done the calibration method but nothing changed. My battery always last for 1 day. I'm using Creed's Rom V3.5.

Well battery calibration /wiping battery stats will not affect your battery life. You can try out better custom kernels like percy, hells fusion with different governers and I/o schedulers. Those kernels are battery saving kernels.
Also you can use undervolt scripts on custom kernels to increase battery life. Search/read and try out. Thats how you learn things.

You can but some says you will end up in bootloops. What is better is read the flashing instructions given in kernel thread. If it requires stock rom/kernel, flash it via odin. But do a cwm backup of your current rom ie. Creeds in your case. Flash the kernel and then through advanced restore of cwm only restore system and data. Do not restore boot. But you can give it a try on creeds also. Backup and try. If doesn't work restore the backup or flash stock via odin.

Yep. If on stock kernel restore the backup directly. If on a custom one with cwm recovery then restore only ststem and data through advanced restore. Do not restore boot.

Sir. After I flashed the Hells Fusion Kernel #50 my wifi is not connecting anymore. I flashed my stock rom through aroma installer and restored my backup. I think that kernel has problem. What other kernel do you prefer in order to save my battery? Please help me.

If thats the case try flashing wifi drivers by whitexp. It will fix wifi.
Hell fusion #50 is good. If you want more battery saver kernel then you can use kuros kernel.
P.S. No need to call me sir, just be friendly.

Hi to all, i need a little help with the installation of this kernel. I'm trying to install it in ussr v3 and v4 and always get bootloop. I read that is necessary to uninstall a2sd but i don't know if those ROMs have it (both have Repencis kernel) and i don't know how to uninstall it. I checked init.d folder and i dont see any files with "a2sd" and i dont have my sd-card partitioned or anythig so i dont know what to do, please help. Thanks in advance guys.
pd: Sorry for bad english.
I to had the same problem but i was able to install the kuro kernel but i was using ICS fusion v2.0 rom
unroot ur phone
do a data wipe/cache
before installing kuro kernell
After installing Kuro kernel u may root ur phone again.
And remember always to flash it via CWM & not the stock recovery
u can use the faqbly method to flash the kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552889
what? unroot? I don't know why did my kernel got a problem with root stuff. try this one. usr have bacem tweak inside it, you'd better remove it or change the value to -20mV before you install my kernel.
i install this kernel with Repencis v3.5 and i didnt get bootloop maybe the a2sd thing is the one thats get you a bootloop cause i use link2sd..because of that i didnt got any problem
btw this kernel is COOL really fast and battery saver
Hi noob question here
I flashed kuro kernel(love this kernel BTW)on samsumsung kies updated stockrom but IMEI number disappeared (IMEI blank)gone from phone has anyone else had this happen. Is there a simple fix to this or reason ?, or do I have to stick with xxla2 which is fine but I love the enhancements on the kies updated rom
I have flashed back stock xxla2 and IMEI number has returned so no damage done
I did'nt note down the kies update number my bad.
edit
service version : PDA:LK3 / PHONE:LK3 / CSC:LL1 (XEU)

"best" or "better" is personal choice.
Also Savie's kernel is banned.

There is a simpler way where you don't need to flash any thing. Go to SuperSU>Settings>enable superuser. Disable and again enable superuser then you get back your root access.

Which kernel did u flash and how? plz tell me the detail. By the way Merruk kernel is very unstable. I recomment u not to use it.
Some roms do not function with kernels other than those included in the rom..
Also you must follow proper instructions to flash kernel
one thing more... After flashing merruks kernel you have yo flash ext4 convertor
it will convert your /data /system and /cache tp ext4 which is not supported by some kernels and rom dont boot
Thank You Guys For Replying A Noob

That was really rude bro.
I mean to say it`s for advanced users. Becoz to install it successfully without any errors is difficult for one who is new to such stuffs. But one can easily flash
other kernels like savie, kuro, hells fusion etc following simple steps.
By the way for ur kind information i have once successfully installed the Merruk Kernel but changed becoz it was power hungry
