Hey everyone, so I had a quick search through the forums and couldn't seem to find an answer.
Every time I go to send a picture through some apps (Kik & Facebook Messenger) it just force closes the app and doesn't send. I'm running a stock ROM 4.2.2 which is rooted. Any ideas what could be causing this and which would be the best way to go about fixing it? I would do a factory reset but I don't want to lose all my data.

I've found flashing a different ROM onto it was the best fix for me

Hi there might be another thread with the same question as me but I couldn't find it so I'm just posting a new one. Feel free to send me a link to that one, if there is one!
I am running 2.2 froyo on my HTC HD2 and i want to replace the build , is there a way to do this without losing your contacts and apps and such? Or will all the data be replaced/erased on your phone?
This will be the third time in 3 months my contacts will get erased if it happens and not only me but my friends are starting to get really annoyed!

Hi, make back up with Titanium backup, or My backup. Flash the new rom and restore your backup.
You may also consider setting up google account. I'm trying to find best ROM for my needs, so I also reflash. Synchronising my HD2 with gmail let me keep all my contacts and appointments. Of course without backup I still have to reinstall all apps.

It appears 4rom the way ur question's asked dat u r not familiar with CWM's or any backup & restore possibilities....well there are several ways but d easiest way 2 get things lyk ur contacts,calendar n market-related apps...is to have a google account...dat should be easy for u, since launching d android market asks for a google acct (if one hasn't been setup b4)..
Alternatively, u can use backup apps lyk Titanium backup root or MyBackup...backing up's easy..restoring across different build's d tricky part so choose wisely...

Hi guys!
Long time lurker but first time poster, so please bear with me here.
I have the Samsung i9505, rooted with TWRP. I've recently updated to the SlimBean 4.3 Build 1 rom from the beta 5 version, and now the play store won't recognise my device, which is strange really. If i click on settings (on my computer) and go to device list, it sits there nice and fine, but when I try to install an app, my phone disappears from the list of devices.
I tried wiping the data from Google Services Framework and the Play Store, but the store just wouldn't load so i had to back up both apps to previous settings, and I'm back at square one. I am still able to download apps by accessing the play store from my phone, so i'm not too freaked out just yet. It's strange, i've been through several roms and rooted devices and this has never happened. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't think so, i've had a look at the thread but it doesn't seem like anyone has commented on having the same problem. Most report the play store flat out not working. Unfortunately I don't have enough posts so I cant post in the development thread!
Could it be an issue on the Google end of things, or settings?

I don't really feel Google would be the problem.Did u install it with wiping all data
Or did u do dirty flash?

i factory resetted before flashing the rom, and cleared cache and dalvic after as well. oh dear!
any other ideas?
hey guys thanks for trying to help, my phone has reappeared in the play store (without having me do anything) so perhaps it was an issue with google after all!

hello guys!i have my note 3 13 days now and 3-4 times per day it gives me notification sound-vibrate but WITHOUT real notification..i mean that the phone rings but i have no notifications at all! what i can do? is this a hardware problem? can anyone help me to solve this? i am in stock android 4.4.2 without root.. thanks in advance!

First wipe the data of the phone app in settings/all apps and reboot , then i would try a data factory reset and if that doesn`t help reflash the stock rom with Odin.

I'm not quite sure about your problem, but I have 2 suggestions for you:
1- May be someone use Android Device Manager to troll you? He can remotely 'Ring' your phone with this Google's tool.
2- To see a list of notification history, you can use the app 'Missing Shortcuts', select 'Notification History'.
Check and see if any 'ghost' notification in the list?

CANT BE HAPPENING TO ALL PHONES FOR SOME REASON

Never had a problem with it when I was using it on this device
Contact the app developer for support as new versions of the the app may have bugs that only they can sort

On Google play bring up the app & scroll down to the bottom - it will have the app developers details
You can always flash stock rom via odin just to make sure it's not a problem on your phone - other than that there's nothing you can do
Hello
I'm on the latest Aroura ROM. The rom is perfect and almost no bugs at all.
There is only one bug in the S6 dialer. The dialer's settings FC when opened. And i cannot change anything in the call settings.
Without fixing any it, is there is anyway or editing something or anything to do the following without opening the settings:
1-vibrate when call connects
2-vibrate when call ends
Please, any help regarding this?

Perform a full wipe and reflash. If the issue is still there then wait for an update for the rom.

It is a known bug for this ROM. I was just wondering if there is any way around to do these settings from root.
