Why didn't you ask in that thread then?
Also, have you ever heard of Google?

If you could not find an answer, it probably means there is no answer.
MIUI is on 4.1.2 right now, our phone supports 4.2+ so until MIUI upgrade their base to 4.2, no MIUI for us.

1 - I have never posted on xda however I have posted on MIUI forum and that is what I meant.. how that does cut the bull*****
2 - Well that gives my answer, if I can not get an answer on google then might as well only search there

There are 2 other threads in the Nexus 4 general forum. Head to those threads
It was said that MIUI for the Nexus 4 would come at the end of april. (Pretty soon ) :good:

I've heard end of April also so we'll see.

MIUI devs are dickheads, so I wouldn't be surprised if they never release MIUI for Nexus 4 despite promising that they will always support Nexus phones.

You'd probably get more action in the Nexus 7 Android Development Forum, ... Just sayin'.
Edit: Or maybe I'm wrong since since it isn't out yet.

Terrible idea. Threads like these do not belong in development.

What a shame, 1 hour and 30 minutes. Did you really have to open another thread? There's already countless others and you could have easily posted in that.
Yes alot of people need to know its not coming out today

They never said it would be released today 29th they just said they would provide an update on the 29th so it could be released next week or even next month.
So why start another thread.. just makes more work for the mods. We have a very active thread on the matter and our own forum mod Veyka even made a sticky for the discussion of JB update. It would make sense to post in one of those. This does nothing but clutter our forums.

You should get your facts correct before posting. Nothing was ever said to be coming today. If you choose to believe rumours thats your fault but there is no need to spam XDA with pointless crap like this thread.

There was a rumor across XDA that it may be released today, and most people believed it to be true.
So what if people want to believe it, it doesn't hurt you. People have every right to believe what they want and shouldn't be ganged up on for doing so.

Well yeah, he should have posted in an existing thread, but I hate it when I see someone attacking another user for making a new thread, leave it to the mods its their job to do what is necessary, all you had to do was report and leave.

It keeps the forum tidyer if you post in an existing thread on the same subject. I agree with that, I just don't agree with members of the forum personally attacking users for not doing so.

Thank you for the info, and I hope some others will add to what they think of this too.
I have no plan to jump the gun on this. I would hope that the real Kit Kat 4.4 will be pushed out within the next month or two.
Thank you
this thread needs to be deleted, as a.) it doesn't belong in development whatsoever, and b.) seriously? you couldn't goto the thread for gummy that's ONE THREAD below this? wow. reported this one.

What do you mean the real kitkat? This is the real kitkat. If you mean LG's version then you are going to have to wait a while for that i'm sure. It will probably be at least 6 months before we see 4.4 on our phones. But I dont care when it is because i'll have had 4.4 long ago

My intent was not to post this in the wrong section. I was linked to this from a friend. I tend to try and stay out of the Dev section as to not bother those folks. I call it respect.

Because you didn't read the thread that answered your question and created a thread in the development section and didn't develop anything.

Because you are quite possibly the biggest slowpoke ever? And/or also not very observant. Gummy has been available on XDA for over 2 days, and is one of the most popular threads in this forum with 20,000+ views.

The developers choice to create a thread. No one else can unless they get permission from them. I've read over at their community that they will create a thread "soon". Don't know when soon is but its just a matter of time until they do so.
