1)See the first thing I suggest you to do is ROOT your stock ROM.
2)Use a app called GoLauncherEX install it through which you can use different themes for your mobile so you can show off. (NO ROOT REQUIRED)
3)Along With it use GoLocker with it you can change the lock screen with various designs available. (NO ROOT REQUIRED)
4)-Partition your SD card (you could get the tutorial online)
-Install Link2SD you can now send any app to SD card even the system Apps.
ROCK and ROLL!!!! :silly:

most are stickied on the top so you'll have easy access,
go and take a look,
you'll find your answer

I was messing with permissions of apps in Root Explorer and found a check box saying 'Sticky'. What it does? Will it stop the app from being killed when RAM is cleared???

try to set default permission in system rw-r-r in root explorer
may it help you..

its your wish.
You shud move apps whi h ur comfortble with.
But I wud advice u to move large apks
into ur partitoned sd
You can link anything you installed. But you should link the large file.
You can link any app you want...
Except for the system apps.
Also you may select the option to link newly installed apps automatically.

Hey guyz, I accidently deleted my stock Music.apk but still having its backup. But when I am trying to push it into system/apps and giving proper permissions its not shown in my app drawer. Also used system app installer but it says Copy Error....plz guyz help me I want my music player back

Download this and flash it via cwm recovery.

try installing busybox

open app click install (make sure install location is xbin)

then you havent set the apktool folder correctly - needs to be on root of sd card and select its location in the app

i think the extraction was interrupted, reextract
Try to clean the app data in the android settings, if it doesn't work install busybox again, don't forget to set your apktool folder with a long click

Download a stock rom, extract it and copy the same file to the same location on your device using root ex or es file ex
Still facing issue?
Try changing superuser app.
Try kingroot.
I tried to Port TWRP Recovery 3.10.×× to my device lava Iris X8 Mtk6592 3.10 kernel. I also used Apktool 4.4 from the website given by XDA. I unpacked the recovery.img but im unable to repack them, as I'm getting this error,
"ERROR: ld.so: object 'libdirect-coredump.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.

My device has only CTR Recovery for 3.10 kernel .
