Help Needed: Creating a Nexus 4 Accessory - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the right section but I have been working on a Nexus 4 accessory myself involving Qi Wireless charging technology but there are alot of aspects which I don't know how to work out (mostly dealing with the electrical part) this device is the future. The idea currently holds a Patent Pending status.
If anyone wants to lend a hand to help make it a reality it would be greatly appreciated I promise its worth the time. If all goes well it could lead up to a kickstarter.
Thanks for reading.

ROMs Website

Hey guys,
A while back I asked about producing a website to make it easier for people to get into custom roms and also make it easier to stay afloat in the sea of information.
I've got one php programmer who has started and we have a foundation but due to time constraints neither him or myself are able to keep up consistent push.
Is there anyone who can code php that would be interested in helping out? You can pm me for more details.
Hmm
I know healthy competition is one thing, but I'm not sure how much time you want to put into this idea considering there has been one of these out for a month or so now.

Yeah I'm aware of spin, it was actually the original JAB database the formed part of the reasoning. I love the effort they are putting in but I have my own ideas on how the information should be presented.
I don't really see it as competition as we would all be serving the interest of the community. I think we can provide something a little different and like the roms themselves it really comes down to giving users systems to use they feel comfortable with.

any progress towards figuring how to unbrick?

or does no one care about this?
Sure people care but the info just isn't there. A Jtag cable is involved and some additional software that no one can get there hands on.

UMA Education

This page will explain what UMA-WI/FI is about for those that may have questions with reception difficulties. You will understand & realize shortcomings that carriers provide & possibly something you may want but with "few" exceptions not be able to get.
This item will help you learn something new, that what many do not know, I too was one & this is where I began to understand a necessity that I need. Hopefully you will not need this & that your HD2 works in a wonderful way that this phone does supply.
I put this here with respect to XDA & hope the board will accept & allow me to print this here for you.
Thank You

Suggestions for 3rd-party device hardware distributors?

I'm interested in replacing the 1/8" stereo out jack on my n4. It went out a few months back and I could have and still can start an rma with google but I enjoy DIY projects and this one would be a good learning experience. I'm just looking for suggestions or advice pertaining to aftermarket hardware components and the best route to take in acquiring them.
thanks!
Sweet, I'll check that out. Thanks.
Guess I'm just gonna have to bull**** my way past the oppressive 10 post initiation period. Time to go ask some stupid questions in the wrong categories without utilizing the search feature first.... :cyclops:

[DEV/ASSISTANCE] Samsung GT-S7710 XCover 2 Attempting OMNIbased lollipop (5.1) port

Right.
Seems the old Xcover 2 has lost out on the love front.
Im currently trying to pick up the peices laying around the s7710 threads and working with some verry helpful people from the Zombi project in getting a form of 5.1 built for the device.
This thread at point of posting is initially a call to arms for any XCover device owners who have any experience in compiling and porting (as well as error debugging experience) to make themselves known and possibly help me to pinpoint errors in builds im running.
If anyone has a bit of time and enthusiasm to breathe a little bit of life back into this devices world then pls do reply to this post or message me with any details and offers of support.
Im fairly green to the whole process but I am learning a lot its just taking a lot of time and when I hit issues often times there are not people with freetime to ask for guidance.
As progression is made i will be editing and updating this post with any builds that i get booting and functional on my own device for further testing from other people.
But pleas do by all means get involved if you think you can help
All the best
Regards
