[Q] Stock or Custom?

Hi,can sum1 help me...iv been waitin far too long 4 kies updated froyo..i want ur opinion on wich is d best version 2 update to ...stock or custom nd post links to their respective tutorials....

Go for some Stock ROMs first...to get the gist...once u have satisfied urself...move on to CUSTOMs...

go for xxjpm..!! it rocks..!!

tanx guys..i knw hw 2 read..m nt dumb..i knw ther r a lotta threads lik mine....but i got a lil confused nd all...i mean the idea of a community is to help....

stock all the way ... much more stable .. the bad thing is you have to wait for updates
stock -> then you customize it the way you want.

[Q] About Hyperion ROM

Ive installed this Hyperion ROM, its nice smooth superb cool and excellent but theres only one issue.
my home button key seems doesnt work, only works when the screenies turns off and then pressed the home button ( awake button )
Any experienced this problems too ? :/

well i DID use the search button but no answer ( I aint that noob ), and THIS is the reason im making a new thread.
so any user of Hyperion ROM can help me ?
I dun like spam like tellin me to stop making a thread like this, follow rules bla bla bla and so on , juz give me the goddamn answer will be good.

Sorry dude my intention was not to hurt u but according to rule 1 u should use search button first becoz many threads have been deleted because they compared different roms!!!!
Roms r just like food so taste it and know which one is best 4 u

evanlocked ussr 9 rom with hells fusion#40 kernal is lag free fastest rom

Does evo-x 3 rom hai bugs ....

No bugs i hav encountered since i hav been using it for 2 weeks. Pretty nice rom really wif the cm9 status bar.

just some COLOR FONT bug i've encountered but overall IT"S AWWEESSOOMMEEE !! \

Only problems I've encountered so far are (a) a slight one of black text on a grey background in some places, already noted by others, and (b) either missing or very well hidden settings for text-to-speech, so there's no way I could find of changing from the default tts engine.
Apart from that it seems a very nice slim rom, and noticeably lower power consumption than the rom I was using before (with the same kernel for both).

is there any way possible to make evo-x 2.1 for galaxy y s6102 to fully support arabic language like (sms,whatapp,twitter,etc...)
and tnx xdadevelopers for every thing u helped me alot and u have an amazing forum wit amazing people srry about the question iam actully egyptian so i need arabic suport please :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Probably baseband - read what baseband it is for and flash that stock rom first
you may need to wipe data & cache & fix permissions after flashing it - read the instructions and others people's posts in the thread and you will work it out

i flashed this rom yesterday. it's great and smoth. but it has a proplem with bottom statusbar. i can scroll it up but can't scroll it down. i don't want to use data monitor, so how can't i disable it?

Bottom ststusbar is disabled, to disable data monitor u have to edit systemUI,...thanks

Hi all,i flashed your rom and i like it,but i have a problem.Instal from playstore the morelocale2 and try to add the greek language.When change the language to greece then not boot and stay to leon logo.Then wipe data,cashe and boot well.If you tell me as i doing something wrong?Nice work.
