Anti shatter sheet anti finger print trick - Xperia Z General

Hi guys! Just want to share how my stock anti shatter film became anti fingerprint which is cool.
After few days with my xz, ive notice some scratch on my lcd without doing anything rough.
I made a decision of using PLASTx to remove those scratches. Applied little drops, lightly wiped with a microfibre cloth in a circular motion. And after few times. The minimal scratches were gone and i noticed that, unlike before, my fingerprints are almost invisible now.

The anti shatter film is not made of tempered glass......
Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk 2

That is true but there is still a glass behind it, so I wonder if it could affect the glass.

The OP mentions "minimal scratches", so I doubt that they had penetrated through the anti shatter film. Therefore the plastx will not have come into contact with the glass screen.

Best screen protector?

I like a shiny smooth protector. Want it to feel like the glass on the screen. Easy to install.

Peeling of the sides?

So... Has anyone had problems with the coating peeling off. Like around the power button and such? I never noticed it until I took my case off. It was bubbled up and peeling off. I contacted Google already and they are sending a replacement device. Just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue.
And I posted this in the wrong section, sorry if a mod would be so kind to move it.

Never heard of the sides peeling. That sucks. At least Google is replacing it. Any way you can get a shot of it?

My new one will be here tomorrow. I'll snap some shots of it and post it tomorrow.

Here are some pictures. I have no idea what caused the peeling I'm almost scared to use my tpu case.

I don't think its the heat. When it gets hot its the glass and not the rubber. I think its the case. What case are you using?

Water Resistance is exciting.

I thought I'd take the liberty of posting a YouTube Video of the Xperia Z demonstrating it's water resistant capabilites.

Gorilla glass 3 sucks big time

I scratched my screen with key(with very little pressure applied) although it's a very thin scratch but I am disappointed with the Gorilla glass 3 they say it is stronger than previous versions gorillas I do not concur. .so my advice to ppl who are using their galaxies without a screen protector should get one ASAP!

Why did you scratch your screen with a key? Your wording made it sound deliberate.
Gorilla glass or not, I had a screen protector on this thing within 5 minutes of taking it out the box and I did exactly the same with my S2. All glass will scratch if you try hard enough or if you're unfortunate enough to have a few grains of sand in your pocket.

I took those Gorilla Glass 3 test reviews for their word for it (-;

Hahaha. Well did it?
Yea it did with scratches here and there

Metal does not scratch glass (especially a typical key). It was probably something you had on your key, like a bit of sand or dust. That will scratch any kind of glass no matter what you do to it.

Samsung galaxy note 2 gt-n7100 tempered glass

Yes I recently cracked my phone and I'm having it repaired locally. When it happens I need to know the strongest, toughest, had to be gorilla glass. 9h minimum. 4mm thick at least and have 4.5 or of 5 reviews with a few 4 minimum. Like the best premium tempered glass for note 2 and in stock. I want it in Amazon
Thanks

What I've seen "Just Like Glass: NANO" NANO glass is better than tempered glass. A guy reviewed seidio temp. Glass then ask him is this the best. Then he referred me to nano. When tempered glass cracks well most cases NANO won't ( high chance it won't )
