Galaxy Note II - India

I got my Galaxy Note II in India after pre-booking at Samsung estore.
Firmware version: N7100DDALI9
I noticed it does not support split screen. May be we need to wait for the update. Anybody who got a more latest firmware version?

Samsung guys hav started Rollin out the update for split screen like the Korean versions, just saw a thread from a French user confirming it. Ull receive it too soon, do update some pics wen u receive it

When it asked to setup Software Update, I selected the wrong country (UK) even though I am in India.. is there some way to revert it to India.. or leaving it in that setting is fine?

XXALJ1 update definitely brings the multi-window goodness along with it..
Quick question on the same.. Has any one played around with the Edit button on the multi-window sidebar? Does it mean that there is some way of editing applications that can be launched within the multi-windows?

Feels smoother here, too. But video support is still broken (have to restart my Note2 after watching about 5 videos...)

light sensor during a call doesnt work for me

G-sensor didn't work at all Auto-rotate etc...

cm 10.1 is still a complete mess. almost like android 4.2.1.
use cm10 if you have to use aosp. otherwise i wouldnt bother with any nonstock rom on the note2.

I would suggest reflashing the stock rom.
If that won't work, then you might have to RMA it.

wipe data for the camera app/gallery app in the phones main settings, app. then reboot.

Reminds me of the horrors of porting roms to cheap prepaid phones, and thinking you'd fixed the camera but it never would work lol
Just wipe data of camera app and worse case factory reset if that doesn't fix RMA it

I think Google just sent Lemon to my family lol. We own three of these phones in family and only one turned out to be a Lemon. Sad.

Can you still RMA a phone if its past the 15 days after purchase?
Who do you contact to tell them its a manufacturing defect and you need your phone replaced?

Always listening is never coming it's hardware dependent. Transparent nav bar is probably already done.

Battery life is already an issue. Do you really see that coming to the nexus 4?
As for the rumours they suggest it's on the nexus 5 4.4 builds. Nothing to suggest the nexus 4/all phones

This might be the reason for me to get the Nexus5 then, I've been looking for a way for N4.

Battery is not a problem for me, with a franco.Kernel I can use my phone for 10h or more without charge

Tapatalk and xda app issues

For some strange reason both tapatalk and the xda app do not update the notifications I will see them pop up at the top of my phone but if there is multiples when I click on them it will take me to the notifications on tapatalk but it will not show the newest ones it has been doing this for a few days now

Yeah noticed that as well. Also if you've been outside tapatalk for a while the participated window shows no participated topics.
Sometimes it can be solved by a cache wipe sometimes not

Same thing here with latest Tapatalk and CM10.1. Resetting cache doesn't resolve the issue.

I had this issue for a last week. After yesterday's Tapatalk update everything is working again.
