[Q] [REQUEST] metamorph black status bar

As the title says, I have a rooted gt 540 running official 2.1, is there a metamorph stock rom bblack status bar mod

i tried that before posintg, it did not work, and i only want a black status bar, not the whole theme

You want whole theme belaieve me. With black bar you need white fonts...

Straight from my GT540!

cyanogenmod has status bar colour change to any colour!

Is there any way to get a black statusbar without having to change ROM? (im using the Europe 2.1 ROM) Because i want to have swedish launguage, if that's possible

I found the solution for you guys ^^ You don't need ROM with black bar you can get white text on any ROM (not tested yet)
Install this theme to get white font in status bar:

install via recovery, then set Wipe Dalvik cache
and now you can install any other black bar with metamorph

So leave it, you need ROM with Deodex to get this working.

I have a problem. Font colour in notification bar is dark like the background, so hard to see them.

yeah I would like that too! hate the double battery notification with std + circular battery indicator I'm using now

[THEME] TouchUp v1 for Devoid/Void Froyo (and possibly others)

TouchUp is based on devoid. #froyo-final by Noejn. I've simply added what I felt were the missing pieces to an already very nice theme (thanks Noejn!!), hence the name TouchUp.

Complete set of 100 discharging icons are included. I reduced the number of charging icons to 10 (traditionally 100) in keeping with the devoid philosophy.
Theme is signed, just boot into recovery and flash - be sure to wipe cache and Dalvik-cache first.
To apply Original Boot Animation delete/rename bootanimation.zip from /system/media.
This theme may work with other deodex 2.2 Roms but is untested, please report your findings. It will NOT work with 2.2.1 or higher.

I figured I'd leave the extravagant themes to you, they're awesome!
My tastes are a bit more on the subtle side. If this theme generates enough interest I'd consider another 1 or 2 with different battery icons and maybe a set of white reception icons but that would be about it.... until the official GB is released.

I know there is tut on how to add brightness slider to statusbar with cm smalli by Sir evan i tried that method 100 of times but my statusbar always FC i mean i dont understand that tut completely. it would be great if anybody give detailed tut on that

all the systemUI.apk in all the status bars are the same except Nemesis original
the only thing different between them is the framework-res.apk and the toggle res like lidroid-res.apk or hyperion-res.apk
you can either flash one for your rom (if you don't want transparency or need to change toggles you can just flash black patch which should work with any non cm7 deodex rom)
if you want to learn to do it yourself decompile my SystemUI.apk
you can then compare what I have done in relation to the guide
I used the same guide so it should match

How to:
DON´T FLASH ON STATUSBARS WHICH COMING FROM THREAD ASC1977´S STATUSBARS !!!
THIS WILL ERASE YOUR STATUSBAR !!!
Choose icon what you want to change and flash zip file in recovery. After reboot your systemui.apk was changed and your phone
looks new like you want. You can flash step by step and change what you want to you have the theme you want createt by yourself. After
flashing on your Internal-SD is a folder createt called ASC1977-backup in which is a restore file. With this file you can restore your last step
with flashing this file in recovery or you can flash your stock systemui.apk from rom and everything is like the day you installed rom.
For some roms i put a flashable stock systemui.apk and some variations in this thread because some want wifi and signal on left side but the rom didnt
have so you can flash this systemui.apk from me as base.
