Note III N9005 Unlocking

Hello guys...To cut the long story short , I got a Romanian N9005 with me in India...My uncle bought the set there in Romania & sent to me in India...The box clearly says ( in Romanian language ) that the product must be activated with a European SIM...I would like to know, what my options are to unlock this thing in India...Is there any unlock option available for this model yet ???
The box doesn't mention any kind of carrier & the boot logo only mentions " Samsung galaxy Note III N9005 " without any operator logo...I still haven't inserted my SIM in this because this supports MicroSIM & i have only regular sized SIM cards...I will be getting a Normal to Micro SIM cutter asap but i just wanted to know is this model locked to European networks only or is an unlocked model ?

Get the unlock code first..then if the baseband freq match then u can register on Indian carrier

I've sent an E mail to Samsung.De for an unlock code...Let's see if they provide me any...Thanks for reply...And yes the baseband freq are same here so it should work if i get the unlock code...Waiting for Samsung to send me one...

Dude your phone is unlocked. You can use any card. You will not have the automatic settings for your local network but you can put them manually.

If my phone would have been unlocked , i would not have posted this thread at the first place...My phone is locked to Europe networks & asks for an Unlock code if i put a local SIM...

Quarx CM11 Defy doesn't boot with India Airtel 4G SIM

I have the latest Quarx CM11 ROM in this device. I had India Airtel 2G sim previously in this device and it used to work without any issues.
After I was forced to replace my 2G sim with 4g sim, the device is not booting up. Booting animation is very very slow and the device will never come back.
If I remove the sim, the device boots up normally. Even it works perfectly fine if I put some other 2G sim.
I tried to change the baseband after removing the sim from the device. I chose south east asia 343_331. Still the device doesn't boot up if i put back the Airtel 4G SIM.
can anyone help me with the issue? thanks

Same thing happened here, have u found any solution, Airtel 4g sim even work with basic phones, but not in Defy. Since Airtel sim is 128k it has more memory than 64k sim, this is the problem and it is not the bug of Rom because slow boot happened in Stock Rom too.

Sorry I didn't see your response. I have not yet found any solution. I am not using this device as it is not supporting any new SIMs. Even I will be interested to know if any solution exists. Probably ROM developer should be able to provide solution. Hope to get some ROM developer's attention to get solution.

Thank you for the reply, however i bought new phone, defy is in cupboard, probably I use it as FM player, Music player in coming days

i need ROM can unlock my scv33

I unlocked my scv33 officially
Even showed unlock successful
But the phone still accept only KDDI SIM card
And the settings network running only on roaming

Hi. You need to update Sim status. I also have SCV33 unlocked officially and I also had the same problem of only AU KDDI sim working.
I got it working . Please follow below.
1) Put in a different sim card (not an AU sim card).
2) Turn on Device.
3) Go to Settings-> About Device-> Status-> SIM Card Status and update it.
Then you will have that SIM working too. Let me know if that helped.

Have you tried updating using the AU sim card. That might help. If it does not, then I guess the only option you have left is to go to AU store in Japan.

Did you update status SIM from the first time or you are stay trying ?

Hi I unlocked it from unlock support
But still working only on Japanese Sim

For everyone. Have SCV33 locked.
I have a solution for That:
Subscribe on this site web
And then download the rom unlock for The SCV33
The password for extract the rom is there beside the link of the Rom

here in nepal... i unlocked my scv33 from a local shop. he charged me around 45$ ( 1$=100NRS )
what i found is that my s7 edge japanese scv33 model is now SC-02h...
He unlocked it in 6.0 marshmellow and later on i upgraded it to 7.0... No problem till now. working all fine.

It's expensive to unlock it with 45$
Because he install the room unlock and then he install DoCoMo Rom.

G6 ThinQ Upgrade (No Network and No Sim detect)

Can anyone help me how to get back the network to my G6? Because I upgrade my G6 SEA version with the G6 ThinQ. I was okay. Until how many hours, my network was gone. I cannot connect to my WIFI and it doesn't detect my SIM. I tried to Reset my Network but it says to network detected.
Help me please. Thank you!

Sounds like you have a DualSim G6 and flashed a SingleSim Version from Europe :silly::good:

Hi u have flashed incorrect frimware on your phone seems tgat your phone is dualsim for fix this problem try to flash SEA frimware again if u did this by upgrade mod u need to factory reset your phone after that

I did the factory reset, still the same. No network. And when i tried toflashed the SEA kdz, it says that the LGUP stopped working.

Sir I m using Samsung S10+ sm-g975u1 unlocked
in india but I m facing problems with my Airtel 4g sim
1. Not getting 4g network showing Edge
2. Frequently say not registered with network
Signal dropping
It is in latest firmware android 10 security patch 1 June 2020
Plz help me what should I do

I am also using same device in India recently facing issue with Vodafone but later on when I try airtel and jio sim its working fine there no issue with your phone its must be issue with airtel network in your area try some other sim just to check later on once the network issue fixed in my area my problem got fixed automatically

tried with jio also but shows volte lte but no calls and internet facing problems
Tell me one think if I change my motherboard to sm-g975f motherboard can I fit Indian variant motherboard in it ??
