Hey Guys,
A few days ago I saw a post on an android blog about an app that puts your calendar events in the notification drop down menu. For some reason I cannot seem to locate the post or any sign of this app and now I'm beginning to think I'm just crazy.
Does this app sound familiar to anyone? I'll be extremely grateful to anyone who can link me to the post I'm thinking of, or more importantly, to the app on the Google Play Store.
Thanks for the help.
I'm assuming you want status agenda... It is in its beta as of now... Cheers

Google's own Calendar app has notification settings that you can set. It's in General Settings.

Extremely helpful and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
And for anyone curious, HERE is the app I was talking about. I'm trying it out now.

LOL Funny, I found under Privacy in Settings, on the top there is Clear Browsing Data. Maybe with some more exploration, there might be a list?
On the Stock Browser for ICS, if you hold the back button it takes you to history and bookmarks... Nothing similar in Chrome it seems....
I've noticed a continuous transfer or downloading icon in my notification bar [screenshot]
Is there a good app to track down what this is? Thanks
I have had this problem before on my xoom.
Two suggestions. You could try to clearing your cache and delvik, this worked for me. I have also seen people have luck with BetterBatteryStats (sorry, can't post links in my replies yet). I hope this helps and good luck!

You're right of course, but i had the same problem on both. I noticed Boat browser download service reloading after I stopped it, so I uninstalled and that stopped it.
Since yesterday, I have been getting annoying popups (maybe its malware or soemthing else) on my phone to download games...when i click on it...it takes me to the random game apps on the play store. I am attaching screenshots for some more explanations.
Has anyone else experienced it before? Is this some kind of bug or just a new feature in the update?
THanks.

its caused by an app that you installed. find the app, disable notifications for that app in the phones app settings.
You might be able to use airpush detector to help determine the app that's causing the push adds.

If you are rooted, install adlocker and it will go away. If you are not rooted, then follow what other people have written

Its definitely airpush ad.
Its just an ad. No virus or malware in this, it just get a really annoying.
What I would do since you're not rooted, is uninstall apps one by one until you see which one it it.
Its a hassle but its the only way with out root if air push detector isn't picking it up.

I know this is probably more related to the actual FB app but I feel like it's a complete violation of privacy and I don't particularly want this happening but can not seem to find a setting to turn it off.. Here is a scenario where this would be completely out of place and unacceptable..
You take a picture of something private .. You or a friend gets your phone and opens the Facebook app... Oh look the last 3 pics you took.... Really? WTF? Anyone know how to turn this off?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Check settings. Turn off facebook sync photos.
Just using Facebook is violation of privacy. Even if you find away to turn it off that feature; Facebook is always sucking up information from your device (contacts, location, call logs, pictures, and so on). This is one of the reason I don't use Facebook.

That's definitely true... Makes me sad. I think in this issue though the most disturbing thing is that it's accessing another app (gallery) and then putting the 3 most recent pics in the app (suggesting) you post them. Who's to say their appropriate to post. I don't like this at all.

Don't sync photos is already selected. This is new. It's not syncing my photos it's just suggesting photos from my gallery (the last 3 taken) for me to post. Very annoying. I will definitely check out the other app you put on here. I apologize I couldn't quote because the XDA app kinda sux.

Guys, just get another app for Facebook. There's tons of apps that don't these extra permissions and don't steal your data, AND THEY RUN BETTER than the stock Facebook app. Example : fast for facebook (search it!)

No I didn't. I've tried alternative FB apps in the past. Haven't generally had much success but maybe I'll give it another go..

The facebook app is becoming worse and more invasive after each update, i think it's time to switch to an unofficial app for it

So it ends up looking like this. I tapped on my post, so I could quote your post. Because it always highlights the one above it. Don't say random stuff if you don't know what you're talking about. Obviously if I could have quoted I would've done it. Been doing this a while....

Yes that is a bug. However if you tap the time at the right hand side of each post, the corresponding post is highlighted, not the one above it.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't... Sorry for being abrasive. Just been very frustrated with the XDA app lately. It used to be so much easier to use.

Just showed up today on my S5 as well. One thing I did do was install WeatherBug. Wonder if they're icons used in the notification bar. Info and lightning?! Just a guess since 5 minutes of Google didn't confirm.

Just tested by uninstalling weatherbug. Upon reboot, the icons come back so I'm not sure what it is. Everytime I delete it after reboot, it comes back. Not a big issue but yes, it's annoying.
I have same issue. Damn it.
I guess the best thing to do to create a .nomedia file in the directory so it doesn't show up in the gallery anymore. That's what I've done.
