I would think customizing the navbar softkeys is a feature on the custom ROMs. There are many out there, so feel free to take a look for yourself

Not to my knowledge; unless you want to custom build your stock ROM from source (and editing the height in source) you're stuck with those default (GIANT) buttons

Ok you need xposed frame work found on xda then you will have a exposed app in there go to download and install wanam there should be a setting in there

There is no easy way to add it to toggle. Maybe you can try the following and see if it's working for our note 3 as well

I use to use tibu to reboot, even though I got this one installed as well. It's not an issue, I just wondered if I could get the advanced options in the built in menu.

In nougat i used an apk mode to disabled it but
Oreo the apk isn't working , and i am not talking here about autohide and swype to enable soft keys , i want to disable it completely , because i use gestures
So many people are looking for this currently. Hope someone finds a solution. I messaged the dev of the 0pt.navbar.apk, let's hope he responds soon @Tigerhoods

I found this all long ago, im still on nougat, don't know if it works on oreo.
Just install the apk, restart and navbar is gone. If you want the navbar back just uninstall the and restart.
