[Q] evo-x for UHKI6 (or any custom ROM for that matter)

Quick question, I have a GT-S5360L phone, baseband UHKI6, I'm aware that if a ROM has different a different MODEM setting I can have a headache, so, will evo-x 3 rom work on that phone without losing 3G? I wanted to post this on the evo-x 3 thread, but this is my first post, so I can't.
Second question is: is it possible to flash a rom like evo-x, and then flash a MODEM using Odin, so that way I'll have the phone settings that work with my provider and still the custom rom?

no panic,just flash the rom,its no problem.i have a customrom from asia on my phone--dxlf2 and my basband is still xxlk3.never have any prob. and evo rom is multi csc+language.have fun.

Thanks JustinsAne! probably I'll flash tonight, else, it might be next week, I already have the custom rom and the required tools, so it's a matter of actually doing it.

any custom rom work on any baseband

I have the same phone and base band UHKI6 and never had a problem flashing evo x or any other custom Rom for Galaxy Y . My base band is still here

I'm having problems accessing wifi in Nemesis One Rom. I replaced the Kernel (Savies Kernel #50), with Kuro Kernel #15!! I'm currently unable to access wifi on my phone . any help would be appreciated!!

Yes, Nemesis is not a xda supported rom

NO ONE SHOULD TALK ABOUT NEMESIS OR JELLY BLAST. ITS BANNED IN XDA AND WHOEVER SHAL TALK ABOUT IT.

Follow my steps
Go to cwm
Wipe data
Wipe cashe
Format system,data,sd ext,cashed
Wipe delvick and battery stats
Completely purify ur phone of that smelly bag of poop
Now flash some great roms that are available here on xda and not that copy paste + 100 new bugs crap

There are instructions in the thread of every rom regarding how to flash it.. Follow them properly

i have galaxy y and it is running nemesis titanium and hell#50 kernel

Try re installing your launcher. Maybe thats a ware (of course that launcher is expensive though). Consider downloading from other sources.

Don't ask support for banned roms (Nemesis Titanium, Jellyblast, etc.) here again. BTW, I think it is caused by buggy rom.

i already tried re installing it but i had no luck, only TSF shell and Next launcher 3d has this problem. can it be a problem with my rom? because other galaxy y using the launcher is fine

Yeah i do think that there's a problem with the rom that your using. There are so many launchers out in the market. Try another rom or another launcher.

make an touchwiz rom based on stock.
with all touchwiz fautures like swipe to cal/sms, twlauncher , statusbar , etc.

@andwie, when do you release G2 UI for latte rev2. it is the best stock rom as i known. cm9 have too many bugs
