I like to use slide security mode but it has a trouble is after ending a call, it always comes back to the homescreen even if before that the phone was being locked. I usually use with headset and put the phone in my pocket, it's so inconvenient with me
I found an app in Google Play Store name Lock screen after end call, it seems to be able to solve my problem. That app locks my phone after ending call ALWAYS, even before that I'm using phone and I have to press the power button and unlock it again. It makes me mad
So, could someone tell me an app or way to make the phone come back to the previous state/action after ending a call. Thanks !

hi, yes there is an app, that do exactly what you want. You can choose "back to last activity" or "back to homescreen".
The name is NoCallend.

Am I the only one with this issue ? After I press the genius button the app pops up but it takes a while until it starts listening...and with this phone I expect little to no lagg...

mine seems to lag, with a message says loading contacts. I feel that should be a background load instead of stopping the app temporarily
I would think it would only load contacts once..but. mine did it a few times in a row and sometimes not at all......
So I wonder what's up with the genius button ?

I have the same issue. Takes about 15 seconds on mine ven overclocked to 1.3mhz
Turn load contacts to manual just remember to update when you add new contacts

Fine. But the lag is present even before the contact database update begins.
After hitting the genius button I have about a one second delay before it says listening. Which is not really a big deal

Yeah, it happens to all of us. It's annoying, too, because the Genius Button is almost always wrong in understanding voice commands. When using the stock Google Voice Actions, I have a margin of error of like 10%. Using Dragon's engine, I'm accidentally calling phones 75% of the time. :/
I wish they'd just give us the option to toggle between Genius / normal Search.

It isnt really a problem, but it kinda disturb me-when clicking on someone's name on contacts it immediatly calls him, is there any way to disable that ? for example, in galaxy S4-when you swipe the contact to the right it calls him and when you press it it shows info about him.
Please help me disabling that, thanks
Press on the contact image for options, use a 3rd party contacts application if that is useless to you.

That actually only occurs if you go through the Phone application. If you launch the People application instead, pressing on the contact takes you to the contact info.
Go for exDialer. Hands down the best, detailed and smoothest contacts/phone app replacement around.. For me at least. Try it.

So I have this problem when I open my contacts and when I receive a call or if I'm calling someone, the phone starts to block. Like everything just blocks and stays like that for like 30 seconds or even more.
I can't hang up on my calls or do anything after that
I tried on so many forums and nobody knew what the problem is. Please help me, how can I solve this ?

Go to Settings, then About Phone & perform a software update if available, if there isnt one available may i ask how many contacts you have? ive seen problems like this on my old Xperia Play, the reason was because i had around 2100 contacts.
This may sound stupid but have you restarted your phone? and if you have, keep hold of the home button, press the icon on the bottom left, then find the RAM tab & press Clear Memory.

I updated my software last night and I have around 80 contacts so that is not the problem i guess.
I restarted it, a tried a reset of phone few times and cleared memory too. I really can't figure it out. Sometimes when I open my contacts it just goes back to my homepage.
it seems to me a factory reset & ota update wont hack it.
So i suggest you go onto Sam Mobile or Samsung Updates & find the right firmware for your phone with the right network & flash it using odin.

My phone randomly vibrates without any notifications or apps running. It only happens when the screen is off. and yes I know about the feature which vibrate if you have a notification once you touch the phone.

I was gonna post a thread about this issue earlier today lol. Mine vibrates when ever I touch it. If it sits on the dresser or in my pocket for a bit and I go to grasp it, it will vibrate. I don't touch any buttons yet and it vibrates. I'm wondering if it's the smart stay feature using the camera to see movement.

Mine randomly vibrates when I enable USB3 mode to move large files. It vibrates for a second at the start of the transfer and a few times (when different files are moving).

I know there is a feature when u pick up your phone, and there is some kind of notification waiting for you, the phone will vibrate. This is a feature that is built in to TouchWiz. There should be a setting to turn it off, but cant remember right now off the top of my head.

Use task manager
Press menu, go to task manager, RAM, clear memory.
That worked for me. It closes 9 programs.

All you have to do is ....
Go to TASK MANAGER app,
Go to the Downloaded tab from Task Manager
UNinstall Playstore.
That's all!
Vibrating due to Account Sync (Loop?)
For anyone still wondering:
It is because the phone is syncing up for some reason it doesn't stop syncing (Looping?)...
Best way around it:
Settings->Accounts and sync->Background Data/Auto Sync Turn Those off!
After a restart it should stop vibrating and get quite alot faster.
Sidenote:
Samsung Galaxy Pocket (GT-S5300) is the phone i that had the issues and got fixed this way.

FINAL SOLUTION!!!!
Please ignore all of the comments above and below, except for what MYFRED and mr08022001 Pydro said. That is the solution. Simply uninstall or delete Google Play Services, and do not reinstall ever again. This is what was causing the constant vibrating on the phone. Plus it also rendered useless the Play Store app, so no applications could be installed or updated. I thought I had lost my phone due to the constant vibrating. But MYFRED helped me save it. So far my experience has been a good one, except for a weird bug that could be my sim card, basically it's only when I call my girlfriend that it rings twice and goes silent on my end but on her end she gets the call just fine like normal, but with using WiFi calling and calling from other phones calls are normal on both ends, what I did notice was that if I call using my cellular network is that on my end it will ring twice then once her phone starts ringing it goes silent on my end. Anyone have this issue before?
But back to the point of this phone is so nice I don't even care for the compact anymore as this is a perfect size phone and its speakers sound good but I need to mess with headphone settings to try out the audio. Camera is good but sometimes it's not accessible through the lockscreen and the icon on the bottom disappears but besides that I love the remote play feature and that's there's optional overlay touch controls. I wish the app drawer had an option to hide apps though because some icons are ugly and belong to bloat ware. The stock themes are nice too I'm rocking the green one

If you choose "Own order" you can have folders in the app drawer. You can then throw all your unused apps in one folder and you won't have to seem them all the time

That's so funny, this happened to me twice while I was calling and I caught my self going "hello hello" and then the person on the other end answered and goes "were you talking to someone?"
Yeah, I don't know what the issue is but I have noticed it. I would consider this a feature, but with T-Mobile in my area you never know when you have dropped a call :/

With the sony...but i just realized i have bigger problems...my phones already bent what the f*ck sony its only been three days..
That is not good at all! I figured out my issue was because t-mobile still thinks in the system that I'm using the galaxy s5 that I gave to my girlfriend so once it updates the two ringing thing will be gone, so far my phone is fine and hope mine don't bend

So far the phone has been pretty good for me. It's slippery, waiting on a couple of cases from Amazon.com that should be in today.
You can also use adb from a pc and go into shell (adb shell) and pm block package.name any app you want to disable.
Might want to disable those 3 carrierIQ packages (pm list will list all packages on the phone)
