You can repartition your sd card correctly in cwm including adding any 2nd partition if required then copy files onto it from pc

I created some partitions for the Spartacus Kernel awhile back. I'd like to remove them now. I've Odined back to a stock ROM but they are still there.
Not sure but maybe backup everything you want from your sd card to your computer and then format your sd card.

Any help please?
There is free partition manager software available online that you can download to your PC to manage any partitions on your SD card (and PC hard drive as an added bonus).

You can use any partitioning tool while the sd card is mounted on a pc via usb (phone) or with a card reader. Backup your sd card first...
For Link2SD to work:
Both partitions should be of type Primary. For compatibility, format as FAT32 for the second partition.

it will more stable when partition the sd card?? n move our apps to sd card?
Sent from my Nexus-X8 using XDA App
I don't think it will make the rom/system more stable, but you will free up more memory for other apps. An app might have unforeseen issues though.
If you use Link2SD, the partition is mounted at sdext2\

Its because the apps are stored in ext4 partition. And windows doesn t detect ext4 partition. You can use minitools partition to format the ext4 partition of SD card in PC.
I tested mini partition tool and thats tell bad disc! and i tested the SDformatter and thats tell write protected!
Any1 help plz!
if formatting doesnt work try to delete the partition using minitools
Please guys help me to fix my 16GB memory that always deletes files(some files) inside my memory card.
Everytime I try to format using HP formatter it says 'device is protected'.
Please post some advice to make it work again. I still believe there's a solution.
Thanks in advance!

I dont see anything wrong with the title.
I can format the sd using any other tool except to HP formatter.
And yes everytime i transfer my files from 4GB memory card, after removing from the computer the contains of 16GB are not equally the same as to my 4GB sd. For example i copied my titanium(folder) back up from 4GB and transfer it to 16GB the folder becomes empty when.try restoring. Even my music files are automatically deleted after placing the 16GB to my phone. Thats the situation.
But the other files remain inside.

Hi all,
Can anyone help me with this problem?
I have a 32GB class 10 micro sd card and I have used it from s3.. when I went to put the card in my s4.. I was restoring some games from Titanium Backup and there is toast msgs saying External SD memory left 1.78mb..
How can it be if my card still have a storage of 25GB not used? Is the datas of the games in another partition or if I would need to format my sd card? To FAT or Exfat?

Look in the TWRP and or CWM folders and sub-folders on your external sdcard,
most likely you have many nandroid backups in those folders.
Or perhaps you have a lot of recorded videos on your externel sdcard.
If worst comes to worst copy all files and folders from externel sdcard to computer
and then remove the sdcard, connect it to computer and use this fat32 format utility
to reformat the card.
Here is the download link for the free fat32 format utility: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/FAT32format-Download-79375.html

I've had stupid Sh*t like this happen with my S4 as well - with both internal and external SD - so I just reformatted them (in Recovery! not in windows) and its fixed the issue.
