I agree instead of undercutting another chef, why don't you try something new? Just a suggestion.

I didn't undercut anybody. I spoke directly to Hector and obtained his permission to post this up before posting it.
On a side note, I felt my post would be easier for other's to read and use, since Hector had only posted a paragraph and a link to zenulator's original Hero ROM thread. He's, since then, copied info from zenulator's post and fixed his post up.

Is there any way you can get rid of the background image on the icons? To be honest they look like the xPhone and takes away from the Sense UI, which is crisp and clean.

when uploading roms, i suggest using multiupload..
rs gives users a maximum of 10 downloads before killing the link..

I'm a rapidshare premium member, so there shouldn't be a 10 download limit on my links, but thank you for the heads up

WOW. This looks mighty nice. I wish I wasnt on vacation still and could flash to this. Nice work mang!

Nice looking rom. Not as functional as I need it to be to take it's place of my everyday rom, but it's still nice to look at.

I found that as well, bluetooth also isn't working. I'll try to repair this for Rev2.

May I ask what you've come across that isn't functional enough to make it your daily? Maybe I can help..

ok heres a buglist for u ( standard for all ported ROMs )
1 . wifi not working
2. bluetooth not working
3. accelerometer not working
4. notifications not working
5. not all apps showing up in marketplace

Thank you. I'll do my best to get these cleared up asap.
Edit: I've asked zenulator for help to expedite the repairs, but I'm still working on fixing these issues..

ZenEXP 0.9.4.2 Port Rev2 is now up, it includes some minor fixes that were pretty annoying in Rev1. Changelog is in the first post.

Just tried your Rev2 and I like it! It's quick and I haven't found a problem yet. Will bt it to my car radio on the way home. The icons are different than I am used to but they are growing on me...sort of Ipod Touchish. Good job!

It appears as though your extra downloads aren't signed...at least that is the message I got when I tried to flash.

Of course... Ive been using it for a week without issue.
It even turns your single core processor in to a dual core processor.
Im getting Quadrant scores in the 4200 range.

The good lord (and XDA) helps those who help themselves. Seriously, just do a subforum search for "Honeycomb" topics.

So after 8 posts a simple yes or no at post 2 would helped him more than 6 posts of telling him to search. Seriously guys.............

So you'd rather people didn't bother with the minimal effort of working things out for themselves? I understand your point that it's wasted a small amount of time/bandwidth, but encouraging people to do their own basic research helps everyone in the long run.
Not to mention posting a generic question in the dev forum.

A link to what? There is no Honeycomb rom to link him to..
And try flashing the Modaco kernel, it'll install CWM with it and convert to ext4.

[Q] No video on ICS rom

I just flashed ICS rom beta 2 on my hd2 an i can watch web videos from youtuby or any other site. I hear the sound clearly but no video...every thing else works great with rom outised of mass storgage ,camera....can any one say what i did wrong

This is a known bug, At least try and read the topic and replies.

Have you been smoking crack today? I'm speaking about the thread you downloaded the rom from
It has all the info you need, The rom is an early beta, it has various issues that are all covered in the thread.
PS. Would have been nice if you had used teh search button or at least read the thread you got the rom from.
Also, you need to watch this XDA video, It was given to you when you joined up but you obviously didn't watch it...

Found it a few minutes ago. I would have never noticed this if it wasn't posted in this section though.
Thank you guys for all of your hard work! I'll get to work on an instructional video.
The 80%battery thing is something I'm not familiar with. seems like a dealbreaker for some.
