Lets say iv got someone Id like to forward his calls.
Is There A way to do that?
I mean:
When The Contact (or someone from a chosen Group) is calling, they will automaticly forwarded to another destination. (but when other callers ring me, the phone will ring)

Settings > Call Settings > Call Forwarding,
i dunno if this is the one for stock, but it's in the call settings,
you need to contact your carrier since they might have a different setup for CF

Hi folks,
I've got a problem with the call diversion on the Xperia. Today I went skiing and let my phone at home so I wanted to forward all incoming calls to my girlfriend's phone. I openend the phone options and wanted to set the call forwarding, but I could just set it to "mailbox". I could not chose any phone numbers or contacts to forward the calls to. With all my previous phones the call forwarding was no problem but the xperia doesn't seem to let me do as I want.
Any solutions?
THX
have exactly the same problem with winmo. I see no chance to forward calls to another phone no.
Any solution would be appreciated.
I can type in a number and forward my call to that number... did you try that or you were just trying to choose from a pull down menu?

I already tried that but the network did not save the settings so no call forwarding was set. But even if it would work like this I won't be very happy because I see no reason to write the desired phone number down just to type it in a few seconds later. There have to be a way to get the contacts shown in this menu.

I am not sure about a software. But my service provider sends me SMS notifying all missed calls (with the calling numbers) while I was busy.

I think this only can be realised by the provider function.
If you do not activate "call waiting" (the 2. call is indicated with a sound-signal while you are speaking) the 2. call will be blocked by the network and not reach your handset. So no software can detect this 2. call without "call waiting" activated.

In this case it can not be solved (AFAIK) because without "call waiting" the network does not inform your handset about further calls as long as you speak.
hi
yup ur 100% right buddy

This program "WM Incoming Call Forwarded Indicator" idea is good. It can show the forwarded status on task bar. But it is not free.
why isn't this done by the operating system out of the box?... is there any other solution? like a hidden registry or something?
no one has any ideeas?
Would anyone be able to advise on the easiest way to get all calls sent to voicemail (without using airplane mode rather than having to forward each contact individually. This used to be extremely simple in most phones but has got ridiculously difficult with smartphones. Thanks!

Dialer -> Call settings -> Call forwarding -> Always forward
is the setting your are looking for.
I only give out my Google Voice number, so the "Do not disturb" option makes life easier.
Ok that's what i figured. The DNB option is only available with google voice? Any easy way to set it up in place of service provider voicemail?

The "Do not disturb" is for Google Voice. You can move you carrier voice mail over to GV, but calls to your mobile number will still ring before going to voice mail (aka GV), while calls to GV number go directly to VM.
You would need to port your mobile number to Google Voice, and get a new carrier phone number to use it in the way you are asking. Porting numbers will cause a service disruption and cost some fees.
I would search in the market for some kind of "Do Not Disturb" app.
I would like to know if it possible to send a busy text message while you on a call, like the custom "Reject a Call With Text Message" on the GS5. Does it appear like when you not on another call?

Not really understand your question.
Why you need to send a busy text message while you are in a call?

I don't know let's say I'm with a customer on the line and I can't take the other call waiting and just want to let the other person know that I'm not ignoring his call just that I'm on the other line and will call him back.
My friend told me that he can do it with is Note3 but I wonder if that's the same with the GS5?

Yes, on my Note 3 it is enabled by default. If the S5 does not support this feature, you can find another custom rom that support it, or a rom porting from Note 3 firmware (if any).

I see. Typically the other side will get the notification message "Call waiting..." while calling you, so he/she will know your are in a call. You just ignore the incoming call. If you want to turn off the call waiting feature, you can use my Advanced Call Settings app to disable it.
(open 'Advanced Call Settings' app > 'Others' tab > CW (Call Waiting) > Deactivate button)

A friend just tested it with me and you can do it with the SG5.
Thanks for everything.
