[Q] WIFI problem with my Xperia S under Androide 4.2.2 - Networking

Hallo to all ;
Since I routed my xperia lt26i S, I do not have wifi. I was told with new installations of android, as it was the will of fixes but so far I've tried everything and you install all the androids one by one. Always the same no access to wifi is always NO.
I am currently on:
- Android Version 4.2.2
- PAC version 22.0.1.
Thanks.
Are there anybody here, please !!!!!!

Could you explain your problem?
wifi doesn't work is a little short...
The only advice I can give to you with this question is :
-> start the wifi
-> configure it (authentication scheme (EAP/ WAP/ ...), login / pass if any)

[Q] Data Usage error with Coldblue's Rom CM 10.1.1

Hello to the community.
I'm new to Android Modding and my first attempt on flashing my Ideos was successful.
It was so excited with the new ROM ( Coldblue CM 10.1.1 ) like I was getting a new phone
I have no bugs at all ant it is working great. I 've also set the CPU at 1200mHz and I have a pretty smoth user experience.
Only thing I cant figure out, is where to find data usage option. I cant find it anywhere and Apps (like 3g Watchdog) are not logging mobile internet usage.
I didnt find any mentions about this on the original thread except in first page this comment:
xtugap
I use the v3 when you realised, and I can connect to ZON router, on this version this is fixed?
And you can add data usage on the ROM?
Great work, latter I will try the new version

[Q] Nexus 4 Lollipop OTA (5..1..1) Problem with Bluetooth in general & SSK H1 pairing

[Q] Nexus 4 Lollipop OTA (5..1..1) Problem with Bluetooth in general & SSK H1 pairing
Hi Friends,
This is my first post here. Well, I have a Nexus 4 phone, & when it was updated with OTA update ( Android 5.1.1), it's bluetooth started to act quite wierdly. Most of the devices I cannot find, somehow, I can receive files that others send me, this is possible, only when they can search & pair my device. Also, I had an SSK H1 headphone that I used with this device, this headphone was working properly with Kit Kat & also in initial android update of 5.0.0, however, it is not working after the update 5.1.0 & 5.1.1 were installed.
In short, I cannot find any devices on my bluetooth. I tried clearing cache & also deleting data. I have given it full reset & also have tried factory reset twice. This problem won't fix at all. Anyone else facing similar problem? Any remedies that work would work will be really helpful.
Thanks & Best Regards,
Ketan

Updater & adblockers do not work

Hello,
I am trying to update miui 5.9.2Beta to 5.10 using the updater but it does not work, I get this feedback:
No updates available
or
Connect to WLAN : To download this update, connect to a WLAN network (even if I am connected to my Wifi network)
I am not sure I am on an official rom: it is in english and I have the GoogleAppStore (the phone is bought from a french website). I still have all the chineese apps and my "about phone" gives me "miui 5.9.2Beta".
Could someone enlighten my on what to do ? Should I flash/wipe my phone and install the update manually every time an update is available (and is it even worth it...) ? Or would you advice me to just switch to a different non official rom ?
I am also having problems with adblock and adaway: they do not do anything. I still have adds on youtube, websites and apps. I am pretty sure they are configured correctly: root access etc.
Thanks for your help!
Cheers

for adblockers i had to remove them because they was cutting my internet connection every times i was using my bluetooth headset ...
so you should try to install adblock browser instead.
i think you are using a translated dev rom because miui does not have playstore.
for the latest rom yes yesterday from what i heard miui changed the way they update the non official rom so you need to install the latest rom yourself (10/16 i guess) then you should have the new update installer inside.
and you will update by using it every weeks.
note:i am french myself.
Hello and , thank you for your answer Tailslol.
So you would advise me to flash and wipe my phone and then install a new rom ?
I have heard that the hermes miui rom is good. Would you recommand it ?

i dont know on this side im sorry. i am using the miui france rom on my red mi note 2.
you can thanks poeple by pressing the thanks button under the avatar.
try to find on miui en site a international stable rom or a dev rom with gapps.
Hermes refers to the phone.
I use the miui eu version of the ROM. No pop up ads. No Chinese applications preinstalled. Google services/play store installed but few preinstalled google apps. This version supports a number of languages.

I would wipe and install the new updated OS if you are having issues with the OTA update. Here's a link for the unofficial stock MIUI: http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/5-10-22.28856/

Bluetooth issue on connecting with rk3188 HU(KGL) using Android 6.0 or higher

Hi everyone,
i got a problem connecting my Android device to my rk3188 HU via Bluetooth.
My devices:
Google Nexus 5 : Android version - 6.0.1 cyanogenMod
rk3188: Android Version - 4.4.4 Malaysk rom(newest)
Display - 1024x600
To my problem: i can pair my phone to the hu. No problem, but when i want to connect my phone to the rk3188 device it says, that it is connected but telephon is not possible. After that it disconnects itself. The connection breaks up. I tested it on several devices with different Android Version like 4.4.2 and 5.1.1 and it works just like it should. Seems like its an Android 6.0 and higher problem. Is there somebody with the same problem and know how to solve this?
Thank you!
Hi,
i can´t help, but i have similar problems...
My Devices:
LG G4 (Andoid 6.0)
Erisin ES2046B (rk3188 / 1024x600 / newest Malaysk Rom 4.4.4)
I can pair my Android phone to the HU, but when i try to sync my contact list it breaks up the connection.
I tested several MTCBlueTooth.apk (by Malaysk and other) but still the same problem.
I also changed the way of sync in the phone contact list options and tried to send the contacts manually,
but nothing really works.
I also tested another phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 3) a few months ago and it worked like a charm.
Now after an update to Android 6 it seems like the same problem like yours, its still paired but it randomly
breaks the connection.
I´m still holding out hope for a solution and thanks for reading...

Hi,
I have experienced the same issue with CM13 on N7100 and i9506. Appears to be a CM13 issue - perhaps post logcats on CM forums?

i don't know, i still think that it is an android 6.0+ issue. A friend of mine has a android m stock rom and it appears the same problem.
I have an LG G4 6.0 and it works fine with my Joying rk3188. But to be honest I haven't done more than make sure I can stream music and test out the hands free calling features.
I thought I was the only one!....I got a Lenovo zuk z1 with android 6.0.1 and the same problem.....you even can listen to the streaming music through you android car radio, but nothing about calls,.It seems can't synchronize with your contacts.Any help?
My Huawei Mate 8 with Android 6.0 connect perfectly via Bluetooth (phone calls, contacts, music) to my Eonon RK3188 4.4.4.
To all of you who don't have any issues with Bluetooth connection, which Rom have you installed on your HU?
G2110F stock rooted.
Still running the stock ROM it came with. Will give the ROM number next time I get in my car.

I can't make any promises, but I'm willing to look into logs from your phones (especially CM13 devices) as I have the same issue. Phone shows up as "Connected (no phone)" and Bluetooth media works fine. Grab a logcat or a bug report and attach or post on pastebin.com and I'll see what I can find.

Pardon my ignorance here (still learning) but nothing in the "About machine" is labeled as the ROM so I will list the following:
MCU - MTCB-JY-V2.73
Android version - 4.4.4_25082015
Kernel version - 3.0.36+
Build number - rk3188-eng4.4.4.25082015.12:15:58
One thing I did notice when I was pairing my G4 was that the HU was trying to control the pairing where as every other Bluetooth pairing was controlled by the phone. I stopped the HU and used my phone to control the pairing. And I did confirm that all features work properly. I loaded up my directory, controlled music, etc all from my HU.

i solved this problem flashing cm12.1 (android 5.1.1) back to my nexus 5. Now everything ist working like it should. I'm little upset to downgrade, because some features are missing which were very important to me. @nivron: i try to find some time to flash to cm13 again and get the logs. After that i will try to post it here or on pastebin.com or both.

Hi! I have same problems with connecting my OnePlus One (CM13) to HU (RK3188, Android 4.4.4).
I grab logs as you ask. Attached logs represent new connection attempt - I remove all devices and run search. I prepared both log from my phone and HU.
Thanks!

Problem is fixed with latest cm13 nightly... But be aware of the launcher problem! So I would suggest to wait one day! Launcher fix is already added but not in a build!
Cheers

Checked on cm-13.0-20160501.
Thanks!
What about those of us not running cyanogen? I have a Nextbit Robin and its bluetooth functionality is heavily impaired thanks to the changes in android marshmallow.
Is there any fix or app to downgrade the bluetooth protocol or something?
Same issue since Marshmallow update
Hi
I have a rooted RK3066 4.4.4 unit and and Xperia M5. Since the Marshmallow update on my M5 i can no longer connect my phone to my headunit. I pairs fine but just connects the reconnects. Has anybody found a solution to this problem?

Delete 3G from Custom Rom - Lineage OS 13

Hey guys,
since I started again modding my old Tablet (SM-T560) I found a custom Rom (lineage OS 13) for my device. Okay, its not for the SM-T560 (WIFI only) but for the SM-T561 (3G Version). So far the ROM works just fine. There are only a few things, that are not working correctly and thus it needs some adjustments. Because of the build-in 3G Code in the Rom I´m getting all the 3G functionallity. I wouldn't mind that but because of this, the microphone isn't working correctly - at least that's the conclusion i drew . So I wanted to ask, If it's possible to just delete this Data from the rom (via Linux-PC or on the rooted Tablet itself) ? I tried to modify the build.prop and some other files but all I got is an Error message stating that the microphone is maybe in use. I get this message, when I try to use the recording function on the TAB. I am willing to try and test all your suggestions . My programming skills aren't the best but I think, it could be a thing I could handle, if you could tell me where to look for files that have to be modified, deleted or replaced.
Have a nice and chilled Sunday
