I installed Merruks Kernel pre Final 2.0 via CWM (mai77) but after that all my downloaded apps from playstore got fc's. So i decided to install ultimate sonic rom v5 with repencis kernel (as what i saw on their thread) but it just stuck on the splash screen. So i restored back to creeds rom 3.2 then i looked at the kernel version in settings i saw [email protected] #36 not merruks kernel.
Ill hit your thanks if you helped me and please explain ) thanks

Hi, thanks for the feedback, so I can't install your rom if I won't go back first to stock rom? Or I can now install your rom because Merruks Kernel is gone and repencis' kernel is now installed?

Heh, will try it. I'll let you know if it turns out good. oh, btw. Do you know how to move the clock in the status bar to the right? Just like a real ics status bar. Because my clock is on the center which is annoying and gets overlapped by notifications and icons of wifi, bluetooth, etc when activated.

Wazzup xda friends, is it possible to flash repencis from creed straight or do I have to go back to stock? Need answer badly?
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda premium
No need to unless you have flashed any custom kernel to creeds 3.5(since creeds use stock kernel) , although you need to change your csc after flashing repencis (doesn't need if repencis has your regions csc)

Hmm I'm not sure, check 4th or 5th post in doky73 stock firmware thread which should show your region, you need to flash your csc just as how you flash a stock Rom but only including csc file AFTER flashing repencis

Yes, flash repencis as per the threads instructions, after booting once successfully go to download mode, only include your csc, flash and then assign your csc dialing some code in dialer, check doky73 stock firmware thread 2nd post for that code

Flashing csc is optional, it makes your rom your region and avoids some issues such as losing prepaid credit and it also boosts your signal according to some

You can flash repensis from creeds but not vice-versa coz repensis has its own custom kernel whereas creeds use stock kernel. If you flash creeds from repensis you will be stuck at galaxy y screen. So, to change from repensis to creeds, first flash stock kernel only, no need of flashing the whole stock rom, and then flash creeds rom.
Hit thanks if I helped you.

Can we change to new custom kernel from stock kernel after installation of jellyblast rom?? As in the requirements it asked for stock kernel. And after installing gave their own kernel.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
Yes, you can. But do have Odin as backup, incase something goes wrong.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda premium
Yes is there any chance of goin wrong. I mean does merruk kernel not support jellyblast/??
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
Hello, I have searched and searched, but I didn't find anything, so I request your help
Where I can find "KernelUpdate" zip to flash merruk kernel 2.0 via cwm ? I am on JellyBlast v3.0.3 , I want to install 2.5 kernel, and that's why I'm asking. A tutorial would be very helpful.
Or a tutorial to flash merruk 2.0 via odin would be nice and I'll try when I arrive home

Install stock kernel in aroma installer of hells kernel. Choose option 1!
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda premium
I tryed but It not working. I tryed format everything wiht ext4 in Aroma and then stock kernel and Hells kernel but it didn't work.
Sent from my E16i using xda app-developers app
Hells kernel doesn't work with merruks. Find another way to flash stock kernel and then flash hells. I reffered to this guide.
