Hey,i am using aurora 2.04 rom is there any way to make close like old TV and open like it?
as in gingerbread
I tried doing that by editing framewrok-res. Looks like that functionality was removed in ICS... a bit of research will tell you that also.

In the AURORA mods/addons thread in the General forum there's a link to a flashable zip with the change.
Here's the part that will interest you all:
framework.apk
/system/framework/framework.apk is an .apk that configures the UI of your phone (transitions,look,icons e.t.c). Here are some mods:

Well here is my review :Tested and configwizard is getting an fc in a loop (because the app restarts itself and continues to give an error) which doesnt allows you to get to use the phone. I actually solved this by flashing gapps, so there might be a problem with the gapps included in your rom. Overall nice look, altough i had to apply the theme (it wasnt implemented natively).Overall good start, but you should try to add more stuff, as it is right now its simply cm10 with a xperia s theme oh and with the addition of walkman music player, no intention to be mean or anything, just saying that it needs some tweaks, mods, and stuff . yep a did everything you need to do and everytime i reboot it it sticks at the experia screen. i have read above and it says a problem with gapps so if you could put a link on for me to flash gapps maybe that would fix it

Is there any chance to add Bravia II from another 4.2 rom?
For walkman V check the thread by Rizal Lovins all you need to download is this & this before installing add the lines from post #5 to your buildprop using rootexplorer, after installing wipe cache and dalvik cache. For Xperia Z launcher check this, for Xperia Theme, unzip any FeraLab ICS rom and look for XperiaS.apk in system/app. Using RootExplorer, put XperiaS.apk in system/app folder and set permissions rw-r-r, reboot and go to settings/themes Xperia S theme is there! ignore the fact that it shows black screen and set the theme ignore the error and choose apply anyway reboot and you're done! For those who get stuck, this rom has low RAM so i removed lots of stuff that i don't use from system/app. to free the RAM that i need.

After you removed stuff from system/app don't forget to also clear data, force stop and disable/uninstall the apps through settings/apps/all.
This worked for me and it should also work for you 100%

This ROM is still in testing fase. Don't worry to much and look into the dev thread from time to time.

Unfortunatly there is not yet an answer. The ROM is functional but not stable enough.
You could try using the ROM as-is. I mean that you should not delete any apps, not use another launcher and don't use tweaks (seeders, etc.).
Also, first install ROM en boot. Then reboot and and install gapps.
You could try another governor, like InteractiveX and set max freq. to 998. But I do not have much hope that it will be better.
If you could provide a logcat after wlod that would be a great help for the developers!
(you would help yourself too, because more logcat means more stuff to investigate = more chance of finding solution)

I guess I am a lucky bastard then, i'm sure you saw the list of apps i removed and i don't have any problems with the rom. The rom is fast and stable enough with the modifications i added, i sporadically get a WLOD or Random Reboot.
That goes for me too.
Al I'm saying is that if you're experiencing fc or wlod then you should try to use the ROM the way it was delivered. That way you're sure that if there is a fc or wlod it isn'nt the result of your own tweaking.

Well done, I'm impressed to see someone your age giving this kind of thing a try. However, is it really necessary to release a FULL ROM when all your changes are cosmetic/app related? It makes much more sense to release a "transformation pack" or "Xperia Z theme" containing only the changes you made, over in the Themes Section.

i am following rqmok's steps for making xperia themed roms. and if you want you can flash the rom on top of cyanogenmod 10.1

I didn't really theme the ROM myself. It was already themed, and I just ported it
By the way, I think you should have waited for CM10.1 to be fully functional. Anyway, when CM10.1 is fixed, you can update the changes on this ROM.

Now i download. Flash it and Report on evening.
Why not a keyboard on board.
I have Download Google Keyboard from Androifilehost on Google Search.
Changing Icon Packs or Symbols from Themes does not Works.

and a problem, when i connect phone with computer he shows me xperia z but there is no storage, twrp works fine ..
i test more, use it as daily the next days..
edit; ok my mistake, you have to change usb configuration in developer options to mtp .. then it will work
for now everything works, like titanium backup, viper4android, xosp apps (music, album, videos) and twrp .. rom is very smooth, very good work

It seems the auto hide traffic monitor is not working. Other than that, it's a fast and good ROM :good:
In-call audio doesn't work.both sides no sound .The rom is great otherwise.

1. Auto hide traffic monitor is not working
2. open_gapps-arm-6.0-pico-201605xx.zip and gapps-601-base-201505xx-1-signed.zip, from TWRP - first booting very slowly but no problems. Problem have after restart - on animation logo stayed (in state logo is animation, ale never ending... in state if low brightness logo and small vibrate)
3. Call audio is not working (any speakers, hands-free and headphones).
4. Viper4Audio is not working: first run show dialog for updating audio driver, after tap on YES lag Viper4Audio interface and after 10 sec shutting this.
(5. Recoveries not supported HDPI GAPPS) - it´s globally problem with 6.0.1. recovery.

Really?
I have no problem with open gapss pico. The first boot was really slow but no problem anymore, no stayed animation logo. Even reboot multiple time to install viper driver, no such problem.
For Viper audio driver, yes it lag after tap on YES button. But after a few sec the driver is installed successfully.
Just wow...i have waiting long time for this kind of rom.Sony Apps and framework and aosp speed.I just have to wait to fix no audio from call speaker to test it better.I don't have other problems,i mean rom is booted very fast on first boot with all wipes(data,system,cache,dalvic/art),viper4android is freezed when install driver but all goes well when i reboot,v4a works fine.

I found a bug in the my device tree, so now i gonna fix it, new build will be available soon, thanks for testing.

This problem was resolved, now i building ROM for the odin, before that on yuga and dogo.
