64Gb HTC one at&t exclusive!?!? - One (M7) General

Did I read it right! Engadget claims the 64Gb will be exclusive to AT&T only.
I'm bummed about this news but still will get this beast.
Btw how much storage is usable in the 32gb for the user?

This is how I got mine for $0.01 (free in the end) last month. The one problem is that they run out rather quick, so jump on the deal if you have an upgrade.
One thing to mention is that there is a weird thing going on for the upgrade process. If you've been eligible for a couple of months, you can purchase with the discount. Otherwise if you've just recently become eligible you might not see the full discount. I had this problem with my line, but I got it by using my wife's upgrade.

Yes it did, though it doesn't say anything about being a refurbished product on the box. All the normal items that came with the phone were there too. It's practically a new phone for all concerns and purposes.
Plus there is a 90 day return policy if there's a problem with the phone. I love mine BTW.

Japan Getting Galaxy S3 with 2GB RAM

Seems like the folks in the UK aren't the only lucky ones.
NTT Docomo confirmed that they will have their own 2GB retail version of the Galaxy S3, more info here: http://gs3central.com/content.php?r=137-Japan-Gets-Galaxy-S3-with-2GB-Ram
UPDATE: Canada also getting 2GB RAM version with dual core and LTE: http://gs3central.com/content.php?r=152-Canada-June-20-Release-Date-Confirmed-Plus-2GB-RAM!
Has anyone maxed out 1GB of ram on the GS2? I only ever got to a max of 500mb ram used of the 800 or so that was free.
Uk? Theyre getting 2gb too?

Fighting LG
I guess this is deeper than just responding to the LG phone, it also means that SIII is probably more highly adaptable to combinations of hardware in design than expected.
Although Samsung said the Super AMOLED Plus has a problem or short-lived blue dots, but I think they are reserving it for something even bigger.
Considering the there are also reports saying that Google wants Jelly Beans to be released in Nexus first, I guess Samsung will do something better very soon. What's more, who supplies Apple with the New iPad screen? Samsung!
Maybe "SIII Advanced" with better Super HD AMOLED Plus? Flexible AMOLED? Even thinner body? SIII isn't as slim as we thought.
C'mon man, let's not start another hype-nuke with the Nexus and the amoleds plus 2x epic and flexible amoleds and 1mm phones.

And people say one gb is enough... They must not be using their phones if they say that they can't even use half of the ram.

Best buy selling 32GB model

Didn't know if anyone knew this buy Best Buy is selling the TF300 for 399.99. Just 20 more dollars for double the memory. So if you want a great tablet I would swoop in BB to get one.

Yeah I didn't think they had it either but I went there yesterday to buy the 16GB model and they had the card stock for a 32GB model. I asked the guy and he said yes, I was stoked. well for me I was always checking best buy for it, always checking the site and going in like every 3 days. I was in a rock in a hard place to either wait or just grab it from amazon. My wife keeps making fun of me because I am an instant gratification type of guy and I just want it now and not wait for shipping from Amazon. If I were you I would check up on it as much as I can because you have 30 days to exchange or if your a premiere silver member you have 45-60 days to exchange it, cant remember which one. Im sure they will have it advertise in the Sunday weekly ad.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda premium
Yep. In the ads, and Its now available at every store near me. Contemplating the exchange. Broke right now. In all reality Ive never even come close to running out of memory, with the exception of my Evo 3D due to only having 1gb internal.
On my 300 I have 16gb internal, and a 16gb sd card. With 151 apps and games I have 8.79gb internal, and 11.45gb external left.
On my Galaxy Tab 7.7 I have 16gb internal, and a 16gb sd card. With 137 apps and games. Still have 6.27gb internal and 10.01 external left.
Although only $20 for double the memory is awesome, I dont want to risk any issues with the new one. (Light bleed, etc). The one I have now is perfect. Besides with my luck Ive had lately with Best Buy and tablets Id probably get a bad one.

Nexus 4 is out!

The thing just looks awesome!
The only drawback I would say is that the memory is limited, 8/16 GB only.
It is also mega cheap!!
Probably my next phone, as it will get updates directly from google.

Honestly I'd rather get the Optimus G (AT&T) which is like the Nexus 4 but with Micro SD and LTE.

I don't see how the N4 is a "crippled SGS3" when it pretty much blows it out of the water in every category except maybe LTE radios if it applies to your area. I need to hold on to my Atrix for the next year or so, but I'm definitely jumping on the next Nexus regardless of how much it costs.
Obviously choose this over the Optimus G. AOSP + fast updates, anyone?

Upgrade to evo lte?

Well my account is up for my upgrade in a week and just wanted a little bit more information from the rest of the guys in the community. I'm stuck between the HTC EVO LTE and the Optimus G. The G has tons of beefed up power and an OK amount or support while the evo lte has tons of rooms and just slightly slower. Any thoughts I'm leaning toward the evo but just wanted anotger opinion
Sent from my PC36100 using xda app-developers app
Bro wait. Get the one. Viperboy and others are already pushing roms for it. Wait the optimus g dev is dead and the ltevo is nothing like the og in the old days. Sadly.
Going to be more action on the One-Edit
To answer the question ltevo or lgog? Ltevo.
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
I like my EVO LTE. Never played with any of the LG Android phones, so I can't really make a fair comparison. The One is a great choice in my opinion, too. The main drawback for some users will be the lack of expandable memory (SD card). There is still plenty of development with the EVO LTE, too. Just recently (within the last month or so) devs got a Sense 5 port from the One working on the LTE. There are several custom kernels that have been released, and a few of the devs who moved up to the One still have their LTE and have stated they will continue to dev for it

I am trying to decide what to upgrade to; the HTC One, Galaxy 4 or the Note 2.
Decisions, decisions!
Sent from my PC36100 using xda app-developers app
Just jumped on the OG Evo forums for the first time in over a year. I went from the OG Evo to the Evo 3D when it launched, and then preordered the Evo LTE. The LTE is a great phone and there is plenty of development for it. As much as I love HTC, I'm probably gonna pass on the One. Really wish Sprint would offer the 64GB version, but even then I don't know. I've told myself my next phone WILL have at least a 5" display. The Note 2 felt too big, surprisingly. But I really wish Sprint offered a version of the J Butterfly, like Verizon did with the Droid DNA. Not knocking the One by any means, I still may pick it up, as I usually get a new phone every year. Also, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Evo LTE! That said though, with the One being released, I don't know if I'd choose the Evo LTE over the One. The main downfall of the One, in my opinion, is the lack of sd card slot. Especially since Sprint isn't going to offer the 64GB version! That's a big mistake for Sprint in my opinion!! I'd take an sd card slot over a sim slot any day, as I have no use for a sim slot! Really bro, you just need to go on a store and play with the One and the Evo LTE so you can really see sock one fits you best. Do keep in mind though that if you're with Sprint, or staying with Sprint anyway, 32GB is All the storage you'll have with NO ability for expandable storage!! That's the real deal breaker for me anyway! Either way, good luck with your decision! ALMOST any new smartphone(except Apple obviously! Lol!) will be an upgrade to your OG Evo!!
