I do not know if I understand, but you will bear this ROM for the Note S4 with the resolution of it?

He is talking about S4 features, and he provided us with the first dump Rom of it, giving the possibility to all the devs to try to port some of his feature on our note.

You really think
a) developers won't build their own deodexed apks from the s4?
b) developers would put their results in another members thread in General?

I Just notice there is similar thread already.. so I will close this thread and will directly go and support the other thread...
See you there mates

[REQUEST] PLEASE ORGANIZE the THREADS & TRY TO KEEP DEV SECTION CLEAN!

this is a sincere request...
instead of everyone starting a new thread when a FW get released & then creating another one for posting the rooted system.img here is wht i suggest:
Someone please take responsibility to maintain a single [FIRMWARE] THREAD where the OP (1st post) will contain links to latest FW available for d/l... when someone gets hands on newest FW they can post links to it in this firmware thread & the same person or other can post rooted system.img (if required for those who dont want to use prerooted-custom kernels) in same thread... also whenever there is a new FW (generic/branded/regional) available instead of posting it in other sections they can post it in this Dev thread... currently these are getting posted at various places (general section/etc) so all those searching for these FW/FTF files can find it easily...
also we can have a nice tagging system..
e.g.:
Arc-> [FIRMWARE][ARC] Latest FW: 4.0.A.2.368 [Update: 01-Aug]
Neo-> [FIRMWARE][NEO] Latest FW: 4.0.A.2.368 [Update: 01-Aug]
that way it will be easier to follow and search for info when new FW gets released...
i really hope that someone takeS responsibility for creating and maintaining this kind of thread for each Xperia 2011 device...
we had similar thread for X10 and it made life a LOT easier!
hope this will be helpful... once such a thread is formed i request the mods to please delete this thread so as to decrease clutter in the DEV section!
regards,
DooMLoRD
I'll make a thread when I get home later this evening. Index of all available firmwares with links incoming!
I think it would bee much better if NEO had his own subforum
Lets face it. There can not be 2 diferent models in one subforum.
Something wrong is bound to happen

actually what i personally feel is that all the Xperia 2011 devices can be clubbed under a single sub forum and then make sub-sub forums for each device... OR just keep the 5 basic sub-sections (Dev/General/themes/Q&A/Accessories) and then everyone should tag the threads properly with device ID... e.g.: say if u want to start a Arc related thread then just start the thread title with [ARC]...
cause if u see most of the things are common for Arc/Play/Neo (and even the new Xperia Mini/Mini Pro/Ray) {though i could be wrong} but all of these do share the same kernel source

A forum/subforum for the Neo has been added to the list of new forums.
I dont know if it will be a complete device forum or just a subforum under the Arc section and I dont know when it will appear but it will be something.
Please be patient

many people brick their phone by flashing i9100 fw on i9100G
Yes please I by mistakes flashed i9100G recovery file and bricked my device
+1 from another i9100 user. They are different beasts.
You're requesting in the wrong place for a device which has practically zero development done for it. In other words, until development picks up, you've got very little chance of success.
There's a dedicated thread for requesting new forums, good luck finding it.
Yes mods..please separate both device..there's some developments started for this device
Please cast your vote in this thread

Hi All,
I'm launching this thread as a request thread asking Indie to make a ROM for SM-N900 also. If you all agree we can start donating and buy Indie N3 this version as gift so that he can develop this ROM for us.
Please read the Forum Rules Ref Posting
This is not Development and hence does not belong in the Development Section
Moving to General

Good effort mate. I am in... Willing to donate. I guess it's better if everyone replies to the thread and indicates Wt amount they are willing to donate.. And if you find the commitments reaching a number that gets Indie the device... We talk to him.
Let me start with my number.
USD 20
I also would like to see it, too.

IMPORTANT NOTE -
Let's make sure we all get some Facts Straight here. This thread has become second home for Ultimate Kernel. There is probably more discussion of that kernel here than this Rom. This is going to stop from this point onwards and here's why.
The thread[10.09] [Ultimate Kernel v.61] [MSM/Alucard/Intelli/Bluplug/AUTO_SMP] [DT2W/S2W/S2S] was closed as #1408 stated,
What that means is that from September 15th, 2014, that kernel is not to be posted on XDA in any shape or form. If done so, it would be considered as a Warez/Pirated App and will be in violation of XDA Rule # 9
So what that means, is that there will be no discussions about Ultimate Kernel in any shape or form. Particularly so on THIS Thread where it will be OFF TOPIC in addition to being banned. I am going to be watching this thread closely. (If you can't tell, Close attention by Mod is not a good news). If I see anyone posting anything to do with Ultimate Kernel then they are going to be violating the above XDA Rule and actions will be taken against them. This includes links, sharing of Kernel files, Kernel settings or where to find the Kernel. Benchmark Results or Battery life from the use of this kernel are also prohibited.
This Post is in such a large size to ensure that all of you have read it carefully.and understand the consequences. There will be serious consequences for failure to comply with the above..

[DISCUSSION] - Cyanogenmod 13 for galaxy S6

Original Discussion thread here>

Thank you.

Alright. Here is a thread for discussion and non-dev talk about Cyanogenmod for our S6's. This is to, in theory, remove all the clutter of the original thread and hopefully make that thread read-only for developer posts only.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a developer and created this thread as a fan and user of cm13. All credit goes to the original devs @sktjdgns1189 and @arter97.
Original thread for changelog and updates. They will also be posted here, but slightly delayed

Again, SEARCH
-It really helps unclutter the thread. Thanks and enjoy!
Finally such a thread. Good that you created it, and let's hope it remains for non development discussions. Let me start out with a simple question, how do you find it using this rom so far, and in the current condition?
What's absolutely needed for it to remain as a daily build? Any downsides besides the missing features?

I think it just can't be used as daily driver. Period.
We don't have any hardware acceleration yet, and its still very buggy.

Honestly, it's better with one too much than nothing, because it avoids the spam in the development topic much more.
And thanks for sharing your experiences guys. I'm stuck with XstreStoLite until it's more stable. It's modded to avoid the slow touchwiz configuration etc, and camera works ++.
But stock Android is so nice! ?
