Does anyone know if their is a chance that Samsung might release a Exynos 5 Octa chipset in the U.S. later on rather than the Snapdragon 600.
I wish samsung would have waited until they were able to manufacture more Exynos 5 Octa chipset until they released the GS4 but instead they got it out as fast as they could so they can beat out htc one sales
99% that you wont get Exynos...

Depends on lte. So here in the US, lte is dominant so it will be the SD600 for us
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
Wait until the international version comes to the market. It will be a little expensive but u can order it to US as well. But exynos will be quite futurisitc. Sam mobile get thier hands on the octa variant and the benchmarks are topping 27k in quadrant standards..
Htc one is at 19k, so i dont guess any flagship can compete the s4 atleast in 2013. So they actually saved it for a latter release so that their phone can top twice.

To All who are interested (TMO ppl) The South Korean Note is scheduled to be released on 11-29-11. This will be a variant of the Euro version and is scheduled to have penta-band capability (1700/2100) It also is a LTE version capable of 42 mb d/l (theoretically) You can read more here:

This will be the version that is supposed to be compatible with T-Mobile USA.

If some people think there is lag on the Note with the 1.4Ghz Exynos they'll really think it lags with the 1.5Ghz Snapdragon.

Which means it uses Qualcomm S3 which means will likely support T-Mobile band. Great.

I doubt it'll be a problem if you root and get rid of the bloats and after developers get rid of Carrier IQ.
Questions is who's selling their 1.4hz to get the new 1.5hz. I know Im really looking at getting this one as soon as it becomes available in the us. EBAY here i come...

Unless your in an LTE market that this Korean Note will work on and you have an Unlimited data plan there's no reason to get it. The 1.5Ghz Snapdragon is slower than the 1.4Ghz Exynos in the current non-LTE Note. It's slower than the 1.2Ghz Exynos in the SGS2 and people have commented on how the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Skyrocket which also uses the 1.5Ghz Snapdragon isn't as snappy as the SGS2.
Hold on you know what we should try first, the modem file. Lol

Cute Touche' Does anyone Know a Korean a website in English they have run into for ordering from the USA
As far as the snapdragon being slow, remember I have tried both chips and unless you are a gamer it is not that noticeable of an issue especially, when new roms start rolling out.
Has anybody found out what bands this new Galaxy Note from Korea will support I can't find anything.
I heard all bands, 1700 aswell.

"With its massive 5.3” screen, LTE capable speeds and Android 2.3, the ultra portable Samsung Galaxy Note easily extends smartphone capabilities."
Lol... what are LTE capable speeds?
1.4 Ghz Exynos processor. It is a N7000.
I believe this is the lte Qualcomm snapdragon version. Same as at&t. Not the n7000.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA App
This isn't a snapdragon in its specs it says 1.4 ghz dual not 1.5 which already been confirmed to be the snapdragon. Reading more into the specs this version of the n7000 will work perfect for those who use T-Mobile/simple mobile 4g/3g speeds. So if you are a T-Mobile costumer and considering getting the sg note att or international this deserve a close look you lose the intergraded home button but keep the 1.4 exynos processor while gaining the 4g speeds
Well seems like the pnly difference is the 4 buttons. Everything else matches with international vetsion.
Telus didnt even listed it as LTE phone so fingers crossed for LTE....

No. It's the same SGH-i717 that AT&T is getting, not the GT-N7000. There is no Exynos.

And you should realize that cut and paste marketing pages are notoriously inaccurate. Telus is getting the SGH-i717.
Anybody got ideas why this price drop?($150 less than the international version)

He said selling for less not more. we have different hardware and therefore different costs for one. second the phone is well into production now. where did you find the us version for 500? also the t-mobile version has the same chipset as the skyrocket that sells for 330. the us s3 is overpriced and i expect sudden drastic price drops. Its being subsidized for 150 + contract for a reason.

Interesting, im going to continue looking into it. Wonder why theyre using the same model number. Doesnt the t-mobile version clock less? I have the 747 and the 727 skyrocket in front of me. The skyrocket benches 3600 quadrant and 6000 astute. Not sure if these similar scores to the t-mobile variant are due to different resolution. Skyrocket is Qualcomm 1.5 dual core.

if your talking the tmobile gs2 it is the same as skyrocket a snapdragon s3 chip. the tmobile gs3 is a completely. different snapdragon s4 chip. which i get about 5000 on quadrent both chips are clocked at 1.5 but the s4 chip uses a newer technology. which makes it faster and more efficient
The T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T GSIIIs are not using the MSM8260a. They use the MSM8960 Krait chipset. I am unsure of the Sprint because I can't find the specs. I am pretty sure it utilized the MSM8960 as well. The MSM8960 has been shown to keep up with the current Quad-Core processors. Mainly, the Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset. If you do a Vellamo benchmark, you will see that it scores very close to the HTC One XL which uses the same chipset and beats the One X which is Quad. The GSII 4G and Skyrocket both had the MSM8260 Scorpion chipset. S4 stands for nothing more than Series 4.

Snapdragon pretty much always has better dev support here.
snapdragon but samsung always releases new firmware and sources first on their exynos devices before snapdragon. I would go for an exynos because it is easier for me to tweak with perseus kernel and has better memory management. gets hot but the processor and gpu are easier to manipulate. Snapdragon is cool though. byt then again, thats just me ranting about
