Hello Everybody,
I would like to change the current system of my HTC Touch2 - Mega from EN to ARABIC, but i can't download the related rom update :
HTC Touch2 WM6.5 Arabic ROM (GCC and Egypt)
- NOT AUTHORIZED FOR NEW USERS -
(Search google, and get it by the first item!)
because of the serial number incompatibility (quite normal according to HTC support!)
Could someone in this forum give me some clues or links to download this file from another location please ?
I did'nt found any information about this rom in xda forums, although the rom exists (official link of HTC middle east!)

Did you try Google? And if you find it you cant put it on your phone without HSPL, just to let you know before you kill you phone.
Of course already tried google seach, but found nothing valid !
No HSPL is needed for all official HTC ROM upgrade, i have already upgraded successfully my device from GER --> ENG, and now i need an ARABIC one, the official one that i cannot download from official HTC middle east web site because of serial number problem (bought my device in germany!)
Please if anyone can help me !

I managed to download the Arabic ROM, and I chose the locale Saudi Arabia as it is the only one available for Arabic. But I still cannot read or write Arabic!
Well, and did you succeed in downloading the arabic version ?
If yes, could you upload it on rapidshare/megaupload ?
In fact, it is only a serial number problem, because my device's one is a german one, i cannot download it, what about yours ? is it a middle east original one ?
Something helpful, can be to give here an arabic device serial number in order to be able to download it from HTC official site and then put it here as a link for xda dev forum users !

I have the same problem
HTC Mega Official Rom Asian 1.28.707.3 Radio 3.48.25.27
That's not an arabic one ?...
Why did you post this one in this thread, this is not an arabic rom ?

goto htc, select middle east as country. goto support then downloads. there's a rom there. download, install. goto value added in your pda start menu. install the Arabic service and enjoy.

Unfortunately not so easy, u need a valid arabic serial number to dl it !...
That's why i am searching for this one also...
weird. whats the story behind it? care to explain? got from some other country or what? and now you need to get Arabic in it?
Here, was messing around with my s/n. made this up and worked. 'HT9a4p103340'. (again remember its not mine, who knows who owns it not that it matters eh).

but how to download it without killing Phone we need HSPL where is it

updates:
my build is the grh55, while I know of an OTA update that leads to the build grh75.
I do not know how to get the update via OTA.
also if I try to update maps, download from the market, but during installation
stops ...
I do not know what to do ...

thats the problem that is a error on googles part the userdebug build does not allow it to update
there was a thread around here that had the contact info for a google engineer you may wanna do a lil search
unfortunately I do not speak English well ... so I do not know how to search for what you wrote you please ..
could you give me the link to the discussion?
Alternatively, I was advised to proceed with manual installation of the update
downloading it ,
wher i can download?
if I put the SD card, and then apply the update manually from the recovery, then lose
ote any updates or not?
this is the correct zip that I posted?

My understanding is that it wont let you update even if you put the ota on the sd card and update that way

if you have the userdebug software running you cannot update neither manual nor via OTA.

Hi all,
I am new to windows phones. I have bought almost a year ago an HTC HD2, it seems to be the Malaysian version, and I would like to install the MEA version (in order to at least read arabic messages and other things) but as you know when i try that it denies me to install. How can this be done? Help appreciated.
Look for an application called mobi....just install it nd ur phone would have arabic enabled

hey guys, i read on xperia blog that it is available since 1. august, but in Croatia, still no update.. everytime i connect it to PC and start pc companion, but it says that it is up to date.. my model is C5303.
anybody knows something about this ? what does this firmware update, what are the improven things ?
i'm relatively a noob, so if someone can recommend me some other software, but i still have the warranty and don't want to unlock the bootloader..

Looking for working link to download G892AUCU5CUD3 for S8 Active (AT&T) SM-G892A. It's the most recent update released by AT&T for the SM-G892A in April 2021. Can't find it with search engines, and can't OTA.
Can some kind person please put this ROM up for download or point me to a working link?

No. It sounded like member TristanVash38 might have information on this a few weeks ago, but didn't respond to messages. Still need it, and still looking.
