Hi guys,
Today my mom received a P3110 Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. It was available at a discounted price but I noticed it was imported from italy to Holland (they opened the package and put a dutch manual in the box). However I noticed that 4.1.2 JB became available for Holland a month ago already, but the tab still runs 4.0.3 and no sign of an available update whatsoever. I have a Galaxy Nexus and I know that if you buy it in a specific region you get OTA's from samsung not google, but this could be fixed by flashing a different firmware. How can I get the dutch 4.1.2 JB on this 7.0 tablet?
Thanks in advance.

Flash this via ODIN, is the Italy Firmware.

Ok, so now I downloaded the FW zip file and then what? I am used to flashing files on Nexus devices by fastboot, however this obviously does not apply to samsung devices... The samsung FW website showed that the zip file can be flashed through Kies? How do I do that?

Hi guys,
this thread is to help all my friends who are waiting to upgrade to froyo in India but before that would want to flash back to the original firmware.
1. uninstall any kies version if u have.
2. download kies for galaxy 3 from samsung mobile india website
3. install kies
4. run kies and connect ur sgs
5. run update once and then close it.
6. dont close kies. minimize it
7. goto run and type in regedit.
8. goto [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\Kies\DeviceDB\X]
X is ur Device Number. try all of them to get below fields.
9. Now copy and past the following in respective fields
Software revision: I9000DDJF3/I9000ODDJF3/I9000DDJF3/I9000DDJF3
product code: GT-I9000HKAINU
HIDSWVER: I9000DDJF3/I9000ODDJF3/I9000DDJF3/I9000DDJF3
DEVCONINFO: MN(GT-I9000);VER(I9000DDJF3/I9000ODDJF3/I9000DDJF3/I9000DDJF3);HIDVER(I9000DDJF3/I9000ODDJF3/I9000DDJF3/I9000DDJF3);PRD(GT-I9000HKAINU);SN();IMEI(351751043946196);PN( );CON(AT,MTP,MTP);LOCK(FALSE)#OK#OK
10. Now goto [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\Kies]
LOCALVER: 1.5.3.10103.100
11. now go back to kies and update again.
12. Walah! cheers!

Just asking... will it be any different from upgrading to the same official firmware from kies ?
How to find device number?
should i replace my IMEI??
Is it any different than installing ddjg4 directly with odin? The reason I am asking is because, flashing with odin did not work for me. The phone kept rebooting every minute on its own.

you cannot flash stock firmware using CWM..
download stock fw from samfirmware.com, copy it to your sdcard, and use mobile odin pro to update...
you may also do that on your pc via Odin.exe

Can someone tell this as the Wifi on P6800DXLP8? Fix the problem of drop? Or continues at the same bug?
hongkong is not included in the list of countries for the latest update..i believe that hk fw is the one with wifi problem only
never had any issues regarding that, i just make sure to have a full flash and clear data with cwm
you could download other fw like malaysia because philippines is included if you click Info
i don't use firmwares with included carrier because they contain unnecessary apps

Yes, this rom fixes the ics wifi bug !
Any other changes in the rom? If the only change is fixed wifi, then it's better for me to stay on current rom.

What country code are you on now? This German (DBT) suppose to be for unbranded phones, but people have problems flashing this. Keeps getting fail in Odin. I'm having this too and I'm standing back for the moment awaiting solution.
You can flash the Polish (XEO) NB3 and the file can be downloaded from sammobile.com/firmwares

You mentioned nogo to 4.3 due to bootloader however i dindt check the bootloader option in odin (see screenshot). Should i tick that as well next time?
Well there is some debate as to if you should check the bootloader or not.
With the leaked Polish firmware it came in seperate files. You needed to check to upgrade the Bootloader.
With the XEO single .zip firmware you don't need to check it as it upgrades automatically - plenty agree with this. -- There is a few people who say that by not checking it, it hasn't upgraded for them and some just recommend you check it for good luck sake.

MEGA is country based per account. So if I upload to my MEGA it comes from a UK Server which is slow to Asia/America etc, trick is to set up your own MEGA account, and then import it from the download MEGA link and it'll switch to a server in your country and you'll get faster download speeds

Factory image file in case one would get stuck trying to do something like root the tablet unsuccessfully. You could use Odin and this file to restore the tablet. It's not an "upgrade" as a previous poster eluded to. It's worth mentioning that this particular one doesn't overwrite your internal SD directory which can be nice sometimes.
Interesting, Kudos for the share :good:
@open1your1eyes0 do you know what the block the boot.img is stored on :?:
to be deleted..
What is the correct way to use this in Odin? After rooting my 10.5 I am getting a wifi bug and want to use this to revert and try again. I want to be sure I pick the correct Odin options though.
*edit. Never mind. Found steps in a different thread for a different device for doing this. Seems it is the same as rooting. Just wanted to be sure!
Could someone turn this into a flashable zip please? I deleted a system file i shoulodnt have and need to find it in the /system directory. I don't remember the name of it...but it was right below the SideSync 3 files in Titantium Background....it was like sec. something....If someone could post that file for me that would be great.

1. Download and extract.
2. In odin click on the AP button to load your extracted download.
3. Click on the check box next to the AP button.
4. Click start. Your tab will reboot when finished.
Would like someone else to confirm the above before people start following these instructions. Since they are here, they may be in trouble.

I tried yesterday and bricked my device. Odin fails when flashing hidden.img.
I have the SM-T800 (Canadian model). I tried to get the official version from Kies, but it kept saying the version cannot be updated.
I went to sammobile.com to get the Canada version (T800XXU1ANFB_T800XAC1ANF5_XAC) and the zip file was corrupted... After a couple of hours I find a link on rapidgator.net and thank god It worked.
I thought this version would work on any SM-T800 model since it's just a wifi tablet?

Fyi this is country specific to US and it does work. If you bought your device in a different country you have to go to the Sammobile.com website to find your country firmware or else your device will forever be bricked. Also chetus is right, the Canadian version on Sammobile.com is corrupted. There is other alternative download out there though.
Does this put a rooted device back to factory standard, and also enables OTA updates to be received?
thanks
hm....... went to download mode, loaded the file in odin. when i try to start it just gives a message All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 0). doesnt flash anything. Any ideas?

This worked for me, as did following the instructions above. I did have to use cf-autoroot again when done.

I created a step-by-step guide video to unroot/unbrick the Galaxy S6!
Grab all the files and other needed information here: http://www.androidrootz.com/2015/05/how-to-unroot-galaxy-s6-and-s6-edge.html
I was instaled official XEF 6.0.1 on my rooted device S6 edge. But after pass on odin and after reboot on screen information some about drk , check drk. A found solution for that some file must flashing with odin and I was doing that. After instal and reboot phon was booting i working butt still is rooted. I cant check for official update a when i power on my phone in left court is message kernel is not Seandroid enforcing.
How to solve that problem and have unrooted phone?
HELPPPP i cant unroot s6 edge
So i bought a rooted(with odin) s6 edge from a guy. It is lollipop and i want to update it to marshmallow via ota. My settings show that the model is G925f. And baseband g925fxxu3coi9. But the phone info tells me it is g925p which is usa sprint and gives a different baseband g925pvpu3bol1 and download mode also shows g925p. G925f is international. Atleast i think so. I downloaded my country(pakistan's) 3 firmwares and 1 of uk too of g925f. I also downloaded sprint usa firmware. I have tried flashing all of these through odin. All give fails. I got three types of fails: serial com port error, NAND write start fail on my country and uk firmware and that device 3 binary 2 fail on sprint firmware.
Please help me what should i do? Should i get the motherboard replaced?
