DVP stuck at boot logo, cannot enter recovery! - Venue Pro General

Gentlemen,
Today, I play something with my phone: using cab sender to update from 7004 to 7720. Prior to flashing 7720 cab files, I flash the 407216_venuepro_qisdaupdatepks_gleos2a_us_tmo_signed_swv0219_lp0030_rv001_retail.pks_c13ae38ec4ab63aeb46ee1f7bbee3ab878390112.cab file. The progress seems to be OK, but after finishing I cannot enter my phone.
The Dell logo shows up everytime, and I cannot enter recovery mode as I tried to roll back to 7004 again (pressing Power + Vol (-) + Cam keys). Seems like, the same problem was reported by @nokser at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KwSw9otFls.
Does anyone of you know how to fix this issue? Thank you for your help always!

sorry bout that... i can use qdl to restart phone to a point where its stable but then i try reinstalling both clock and streak mod (not together) through fast boot and its says it installs then i can access the recovery menu with 4 options and thats it for both after that its very whimsical and doesn't let me in black screen for both or crashes and then i have to qdl the thing again so i can access phone cos it messes up phone install (i got the repair tool from the xda forums and also used both manual and also multi recovery flasher to flash both streakmod basesband and clockwork)
ERROR[D14]: Read OSBL version Failed!
osbl.mbn version:
ERROR: Download fail!
Please remove the battery and try again.
Wait for modem set up ......
Download Fail! - 2011/04/05 19:17:55
Elapsed Time: 8.54 sec
and now i get this error in qdl is this somehow connected to the problem?
I assume you already know you have to select the second option(update via update.pkg) to get into clockwork/streakmod if you loaded streakmod you need to press the power button to get in.
1. QDL
2. Fastboot: flash 345 baseband (amss+dsp1 img), flash streakmod's img, reboot
3. dont let it boot up(very important), press vol up+down right after fastboot reboot
4. choose 2nd option (update via ....)
5. press power button when u see a dell logo with a triangle
6. flash streakdroid by update with zip in sd card
7. profit!
i knew how to reflash stuff as i have done that now... kinda allivaetd my own problem it was getting to streakmod and clock wrk in the first place that was the problem, i dunno how i fixed it either and it seems sorted for now
thxs for the replies tho

[Q] Can`t install MAGLDR

Guys, help me out. Install the update. Now 8107. Bootloader version 5.9.3.0. I want to install a custom firmware, but in bootloader mode now available only format and back. How do I return /downgrade so that I could safely enter the mode and put the bottles MAGLDR. What will advise. I hope very much for your help
For some reason MAGDLR wouldn't install on my Omnia7 when running Mango. The installer said it succeded, but MAGDLR wasn't installed. Downgrading to NODO and running the tool again fixed the issue for me.
And how can I downgarade to NODO without starting the download mode? The computer now does not see the phone

samsung download mode is different to MAGDLR=press and hold volumeUP + cam + power. MAGLD press and hold volumeDown + cam + power + back button
Yes, I understand how to enter the boot mode. The fact that magldr it has never been installed and the system is refreshed by sending cab files.
MAGDLR mode can install on MANGO with no problem.

Hi,
Try installing the ROM provided by 'voluptuary' (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1528984 - [ROM] Clean ROM - Stock UI - RTM 8858 Base - Focus v1.3 - 7.8 Official).
Edit: I do not know if you will be able to get back your data. I am using 'voluptuary's ROM and it is pretty clean.
I reverted back to original ROM 2010
Buddy i reverted back to 2010 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131022

I had the same problem while flashing one of the custom ROMs and whatever I did, the device used to get stuck on Samsung logo screen - blink for a while and turn off and again the Samsung Logo appeared. It would not enter Download mode nor MAGLDR mode. Here is what I did and it worked, I do not know if it will work for you.
Try the following:
1. Check whether you can enter Download Mode - (Vol Up + Camera + Power).
2. If Download Mode appears select Format and Format your device.
3. After Formatting, again enter Download Mode and install MAGLDR (provided in Voluptuary's ROM folder) and flash Voluptuary's ROM (3.10a).
If you are unable to enter Download Mode try this:
1. If you have installed MAGLDR in your mobile earlier, check whether you can enter MAGLDR mode (Vol Down + Camera + Power).
2. Once in MAGLDR mode you can install the ROM 3.10a mentioned above.
For me both did not work initially and here is what i did:
1. Turned off the phone, and connected the USB cable to the device and connected it to my PC - left it for a while (may be - 20 - 30 mins).
2. Samsung Logo was still blinking.
3. Disconnected the USB, turned off the device (Removed the battery and re-inserted). Pressed in held Vol Up + camera and then connected the USB cable, the Samsung logo appeared again and out of frustration i pressed Power button (Vol Up + Camera was still being held) couple of times repeatedly and voot... the phone entered Download mode. First thing I did was to format and re-install the MAGLDR and I proceeded flashing the ROM and now my phone works fine. Don't know what was the main cause yet.
I hope the miracle works for you too.
behind every miracle there is a reason
Tried everything u said...didn help!!!...
Is there someone talented:silly: enough to resolve this issue?

Cannot enter recovery mode after updating CM13 nightly

Hey guys,
I feel totally stupid for writing this post but I'm actually out of ideas how to get out of my situation. Also I didn't find any comparable topic here on xda. So let's hope you can help me and a big thanks in advance!
First of all i have a flashed D802 running TWRP and CM13, which worked well the last weeks. I thought about updating to the todays nightly as it is already a few weaks since I did my last update. I downloaded the nightly via the CM downloader and started the installation with running phone. It rebooted into recovery mode and installed the nightly without any problems. After the installation was completed the phone automatically rebooted and this is where the problem starts.
I am stuck in "bootloop?" at the CM logo. It is not automatically restarting after a while but just loading and loading and nothing further happens. I am not able to enter the recovery mode via the factory reset (Pressing Vol Down + Power, releasing after the lg logo appears, pressing and holding the power button again).
This never happened to me and as I am not able to enter TWRP I am not able to install a previous release or a backup. What am I doing wrong this time and what can I do?
Thanks for your support!
have you tried flashing a stock rom?

Actually I don't really know how to do this when I'm not able to enter the recovery mode? Is there a certain way to do this?
In the meantime I managed to enter the recovery mode / TWRP via a mode I don't know how it is called. I pressed vol down + pw btn, released after the LG logo appeared and pressed vol up + vol down. I guess my userdata is deleted by now, which shouldn't be a big deal but I am getting redirected to the recovery mode. I tried to install the yet working CM13 nightly but it has the same problems now.
Now I have two questions:
Does anyone know which part of the system is broken now / which part I need to update in order to get my phone back to life?
Is the download mode working if my phone is rooted? I am able to enter this mode.

yes you can enter the download mode: turn down your phone, press and hold volume up button and connect the usb cable, release volume up when your screan shows dowload mode.
then follow this tutorial to restore your phone back to stock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476

$25 Paypal TO *YOU* for fixing VKY-L29 boot issues / possibly brick

Hey guys,
A friend of mine handed me a phone I used a few years ago - a Huawei P10+. The problem is, it won't boot. A friend offered a small bounty - so I thought I'd extend that small bounty to people here for immediate assistance. If you take Paypal, there $25 USD up for grabs if your links/instructions and assistance lead to unbricking - correct booting of the phone....
WHAT WE KNOW:
- VKY-L29 dual sim phone
- Previously been successfully rooted and was functioning fine
- Previous User may have tried wiping EVERYTHING (unsuccessfully, obviously) for re-installation of stock ROM
THE PROBLEM:
The phone displays the white/orange text screen, stating "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted. To learn more visit: http://zh.ui.vmall.com/emotiondownload.php?mod=restore
(1) Press power to continue .... nothing happens when pressed
(2) Press volume up for 3 secs to enter ERecovery to restore your device ... this works, but CANNOT download, or fails to download package over WIFI (only other options are to shutdown/reboot)
(3) Your device will continue to boot 5 seconds later if no operation ... nothing happens, it just hangs on this screen - even when prompt shows "Your device is rebooting now"
It doesn't matter if this stays rooted or not, we just need to successfully reinstall the STOCK ROM and booting/functioning normally.
Any assistance is appreciated.
Regards

Boot in eRecovery by holding the Volume Up button, after booting in eRecovery just download the latest package via connecting to a Wi-Fi network and it should boot up just fine.

Try downloading an older firmware extract the contents of the .app file using huawei firmware extractor and flash system.img recovery_ramdisk.img oeminfo.img product.img and vendor.img using fastboot and if the phone boots up just update it to a newer firmware, that's how i did it to my P10 Plus, it didn't wanna download via eRecovery too, sorry for the misunderstanding i forgot that it doesn't wanna download for you, i don't have the device with me now because i broke my display (again) so it's getting fixed but it won't be done untill saturday, i'll upload the firmware i used so that you can try too.
if the bootloader is unlocked flash twrp using the command: fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk "path to TWRP.img"
after flashing type: fastboot reboot and immediately start pressing the Volume Up and power button untill the HUAWEI logo shows up, after booting to TWRP flash oeminfo.img using the install option in TWRP, after that reboot and try downloading the firmware using eRecovery again, hopefully this time it will let you download it.

Dude pls wait don't try this i found another way, i bricked my phone accidentally today and i found a way, gonna take me some time to explain but i'll try my best.
So first of all download this firmware here extract it on your pc and boot to bootloader and flash TWRP_kirin.img to recovery_ramdisk, after that reboot the phone and boot in recovery via holding the volume up and power button, when in TWRP copy the dload folder from the firmware you extracted on your pc to your phone after that copy the RECOVERY8_NoCheck.img to your phone and flash it as recovery ramdisk via the install option in TWRP, power off your phone and press and hold the volume buttons and the power button and wait for it to boot and let it install the update, i really hope this helps you, it helped me after struggling with it all day long.
Hi Lester, it's been an eternity since I was online here as I put this on the back-burner with more pressing work and family priorities. Thank you very much for providing the files. I noticed the ROM firmware is EU, when i am outside of EU....but shouldn't be too big of a problem.... I am getting around to doing all of this now, I have downloaded the files. When are you typically online to chat about this?
RoOSTA
It cannot boot into TWRP, only the eRecovery. No option to flash anything on SD card, other than connecting to WIFI...
Hii roosta,
I might have some problem with you, let me facing your thread , I 'like to learn too how to make my P1o plus back to normal again, it's being long time for me to bring this up...
