Galaxy 5 has a graphics chip...thus it works ....unlike g3 which don't have graphics chip but depends on open gl drivers....

still wondering why people open their mouth without knowing what the heck their talking about...
3D games wont work on our SG3 or will work but with many problems.
My advice is dont waste money on 3D games (requires 3d video support) for sg3.

1,3 ghz look after buraks rom 1.5
But why can play the g5 nfs shift and the sg3 not???

It works on some devices while on some, it doesn't.. I get white textures in nfs shift..

Why nfs does not work on Sg3 is a question you should ask Gameloft.

can't play raging thunder 2 either... white textures on cars and game is downloaded from market. using froyo... so i guess it has to do smth with luck?

use wifi to download the 150 mb gamedata and you should be fine.. If it doesn't work, search for "nfs shift best android downloads" in google.. You can download the gamedata from there and put in the sdcard.. Good luck

The same thing happened with me.. Its not easy to hack the gpu ..i don't think anyone can do it ATM.. You can try gameloft GT racing..it works smoothly and the graphics are impressive

I user to play glu games before like INDESTRUCTIBLE, ETERNAL WARRIOR, etc whn i was on gingerbread ; later i upgraded to JB and now i cant download those glu games ; i get a message its not compatible with ur device; ///////// soo is it jb cosing the problem or is it that glu games has black listed DEFY ??
Those game could simply incompatible with any JB devices.
i don't think it would be a good experience on defy even it works
Some small games till 200mb work very well without lags, so anyone with gingerbread on their device can plz goto play store and search for indestructible see whether they can download it?

Have you played it on rooted phone or unrooted?
And where did you download it, because L5 isn't supported on google play by this game.
I have download it from apkmania but still haven't install it 'couse ill have to delete every game that I have and I don't want to do that if it is unplayable.

I had to bluetooth it from my nexus 7 it will download the sddata on its own tho
It run smoothish for me but the graphics look like s**t but I'm used to running it on my 7 in hd
And I would suggest if you are using tilt steering that you lower the sensitivity
Also my l5 is on cm10 root and ocd upto 1150 mhz

Is it OK to install Chainfire3d on our U8800? Cause I read it could make bootloop if it dealt with unsupported device....
Damn I really want to play HD game since the rom that I've been using is lil bit lag to play HD game or maybe some of masters here have another way to play that game...

Subway surfer is not compatible with any of the ARMv6 phones viz. LG P500, Galaxy Gio, etc....
If its indeed showing compatible with Oone then report to the developer

EDIT- Subway Surfer is only Support GB ROM Or Some Modded ICS But Bit Laggy in ics roms becoz its not ported properly with armv7 features.So If you want this game you first install best modded gb rom:victory::victory:

no. i also tested it on CM7 and it force closes after open it. the only way to play this game is to download the armv6 version.

Try from Subway Surfers with ARMV6 features from 4shared.com and install on Oxygen GB rom. It works perfectly here without lags.:good: I play daily.:laugh:
