I suggest that you should first backup up all your apps and data
Flash stock rom
And restore the data and apps

flash firmware via odin..
may be it will fix your problem
Do battery Status wipe in CWM and reboot
Charge your Battery full
Go to CWM recovery
Wipe your Battery Stats
Back up your data
Flash stock via Odin
bingo! everything is fine
If problem persist Change your Battery, cuz it has been worn out!

I went from 5.0.8 to 6rc2 but forgot to flash google apps again
So i rebooted to Amon and installed and it got stuck at the N1 screen.
Ive selected "clear storage" under bootloader and that didn't help
Now i cant install my nandroid and it tells me to do it via ADB
what am I doing wrong?
thanks for any help
This should be under Q&A.
Anyhow, did you rename your nandroid? If so, the filename can't have spaces. Clear storage means nothing to me.. you should wipe cache and dalvik-cache, flash the gapps, then reboot. See if that fixes it for you.
Havent renamed it ill try that if 6rc doesnt work. do i have to wipe cache and dalvik-cache if Ive done a full wipe?
If your nandroid isn't working it's probably because your battery is low. Plug your phone into your computer.
connected via recovery USB and checked the Nandroid
no spaces
Battery always has a full charge before I flash ( learned that from my g1 lol)
I was tired and let the battery drain over night and tried again just now.
now it boots to the N1 logo and then i get application setup wizard has stopped unexpectedly please try again
Ive wiped and re flashed multiple times and even downloaded the files again this time from mirror sites

Have you tried rebooting the phone? Or wiped cache in recovery. Dalvik is imo still more stable and faster then ART atm.

I have tried rebooting and safe mode...
then I wanted to try factory reset but excidently got into download mod insted...I tool the chance of a brick and took the battery out while in download mode(since I didnt have files to burn via odin) and the phone just turned on using delvik and didnt show any problem...so the issue is solved,,,I have no idea how and why but it is...

I had ill effects when switching myself, found that best way to test it was to switch it to ART right after a hard reset or flashing stock via odin. Im sure just wiping cache and dalvik would have fixed it, but i was returning the phone for USB port issues anyhow so i flashed back to stock. not sure if clearing the android files on the internal storage or the cache/dalvik being wiped fixed it, but it ran find after that with no FC's etc. As stated though, i havent really noticed much if any improvement. Still too soon in its infancy to probably see much from it yet lol.
Good luck!
Hi,
I have a SMN910F rooted on stock kitkat downloaded from sammobiles, also having TWRP and a few xposed modules. A couple of weeks back after my phone's battery died, I couldn't get it past the samsung logo when trying to reboot after connecting the charger. I suspected a s/w malfunctioning and performed a clean flash, rooted again and installed TWRP. It has been working fine since then until the battery ran empty again this morning. The same problem seems to occur again now. On a normal reboot it works just fine.
I have tried removing sd card and trying, restarting through TWRP and connecting to PC for the restart and none of these helped. I bought the phone from UK and have now moved to India so am not sure if I can claim warranty even if I managed to reset the Knox counter to 0.
I came across a similar thread for i9300 where the asker says he had an empty /efs folder. Is that likely to cause this problem and how can I check the /efs on my system now without factory reset. I'm having to reconfigure the phone with every factory reset and is tiresome. Also if /efs was the problem should the clean flash last time not have fixed it?
Thanks in advance,
Vish

Go to download mode by pressing and holding volume down+home+power, then try flashing the stock firmware again, or if you want boot to recovery first and wipe cache and dalvik and try to boot it again, if not go back to step 1, cheers:fingers-crossed:
Thanks for your reply. I have done it and it's now back to working condition.
But worried that this is continuing to happen every time my battery drains out.:silly:

Good to hear mate, you should try calibrating your battery also, use your phone until it reaches 15%, then charge it to 100%, reboot into recovery wipe caches, boot it again, and let it on the charger 20-30 min after its fully charge, and repeat step 1, keep doing this as much as you can, your battery will calibrate and it will improve in longevity, cheers:fingers-crossed::highfive:
Thanks mate. Will do that!!

I updated OTA my Note 4 n910f to the latest built. It was something about Samsung Cloud. Since then i haven't been able to use my phone for even a minute. It keeps rebooting every 1 minute. When plugged in it reboots but for like every 3 minutes. And it doesn't charge, my battery was 66% when i plugged it on AC, and it keeps going down like 64% plugged it. I don't know if any of you had this issue before or are having now but i cant use my phone for 2 days now. I tried to clear cache data via recovery, also wiped storage, factory reset, wiped everything but no luck. Where is my problem, is my battery dead or software issue. I didn't have this before the last update. Help !

Flash stock firmware via odin and do a factory reset after flashing firmware.hopefully it should fix the problem. Go to (www.sammobiles.com/firmwares) choose your model number and download latest firmware.
Already did that, no luck. !

Try flashing lollipop .
If the problem still persists after lollipop, then go to a service centre .
If they repair it ,well-n-good but if they don't then try rooting your device and then change the kernel.

Hi guys
i have a custom rom, nougat 7.1 installed and its been working fine. last night i installed an aftermarket battery replacement as the other wasnt holding a charge. after turning on by simply pressing the power switch it went straight to twrp recovery and kept doing so. this morning i cleared the cache and data to start again which was a bit of hassle and it then booted fine. however, i just restarted again and its in the same loop.
i have checked for any obvious obstruction under the rear case that could be pressing against the volume keys but there isnt anything.
any ideas?
cheers
Did you try to reflash everything, e.g. also the ROM?

i didnt really want to do that unless i really had to. as i say, before the battery swap it was fine
But if you cleared already cache *and* data all your data is already lost, e.g. it's like a factory reset. So flashing a new ROM will not worse the situation ...
