Help!! Exynos4210 MD5 hash - Hardware Hacking General

Hi
I set hash_control_1 to 0x12.
I tried to hash "". I set msg_size_low to 0,hash_data_in_1~hash_data_in_16 to 0.
Hash_result_1~hash_result_4 is not the same as d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e.
The hash_result_1~4 put to reverse, I got invalid MD5 format....
I have tried "abcd", the result is error....
Is there any setting error??
How to use MD5 in exynos4210??

Actually, pretty much everything made it fail. Your best bet would be to reflash KRT16S (or KOT49H) factory image.

[Q] system.img.ext4 not found while doing the URDLV method.

I got my firmware from sammobile and extracted this
N9005ZHUBMI7_N9005ZZHBMI7_N9005XXUBMI5_HOME.tar.md5
Using this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498850&highlight=n9005zhubmi7&page=84
Since it was a huge file it took hours for me to download and I got all the other necessary prerequisites ( Sammmobile firmware, URDLV, Cygwin and Odin) and as I opened up cygwin started to do the full method and things go smoothly. then when I execute the URDLV.sh this happens
Code:
Mode: full
Filename: N9005ZHUBMI7_N9005ZZHBMI7_N9005XXUBMI5_HOME
Extension: md5
Extracting Firmware...
system.img.ext4 NOT found!
Using the CSC method I get this error
Code:
Mode: csc
Filename: N9005ZHUBMI7_N9005ZZHBMI7_N9005XXUBMI5_HOME
Extension: md5
Extracting Firmware...
cache.img.ext4 NOT found!
So, I'm stuck. I don't know what I did wrong.
I checked the MD5 file(opened with winamp) and the files were there
Hi Mathmango, wondering if you managed to figure this out? I'm getting exactly the same error.
Cheers
Anthony

You have to place the image in the same folder where you have URDLV.sh;
For example C:/Root/Universal-RDLV_v0.5/
Output dir
tools dir
License.txt
N9005XXUENB3_N9005OXXENB1_N9005XXUENB1_HOME.tar
SS_DL.dll
URDLV.sh
this worked for me . First i had the same error but after i copied the firmware in the same director fixed the problem.

Ur trouble isn't due vy any TWRP version but by yourself.
Bcuz u wiped system parttition, then certainly file build.prop's gone too. So, when TWRP want to get name of device, it can't, then it will cancel flash process. To fix, i suggest u some method:
1. Set "ro.product.device" manually
- Use terminal builtin of TWRP, type follow:
Code:
setprop ro.product.device a500cg
setprop ro.build.product a500cg
- Or, if use adb shell from ur PC:
Code:
adb shell
then type 2 lines as above
After that, choice & flash rom as normaln
2. Edit updater-script
- Open Rom zip via Winrar/7z (Windows) or file roller...(Linux)
- Goto META-INF/com/google/android, u'll see 2 files: update-binary & updater-script.
- Open file "updater-script" via any editor program u have (For Windows, use Notepad++ ONLY), find and delete any line contains "assert" word. On stock, first 10 lines, while custom rom just 1, or 2 lines, in generally.
- When done, save your file, choose "Yes" when a popup promt u want to update your zip.
- Push your new zip to device then choice it to flash
3. Find then flash any "system.img" for your device first via fastboot, then reboot to recovery, then u know what have to do, right :laugh:
4. Use Asus Flash tool & "raw" file. But this's a longest & hardest way, so avoid it anyway.
Hope can help u. Goodluck

After many failed attempts , I finally decided to go back to the original stock ROM . Maybe I'll try again when there was a bugless custom ROM .
Thanks anyway for all your efforts , it will definitely be useful in the future.

Zip Made from AOSP Source Fails to Flash in TWPR - Invalid Format

I'm taking my first stab at developing and have successfully built AOSP from source (aosp_angler-userdebug). The boot.img and system.img flash fine over fastboot, however, the .zip created from:
Code:
$ make updatepackage
passes an error in TWRP when I try to flash it. Something to the effect of:
Code:
Installing zip from '/path/to/file.zip'

Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
Invalid zip file formHey guys, I've looked around the forum and have done much Google-ing to try and resolve this.

After doing some Google-ing and re-reading the AOSP instructions many times, I guessed that my META-INF folder was missing since I couldn't find it anywhere in my source tree nor output directory. So, I tried:
Code:
$ make dist
then
$ ./build/tools/releasetools/ota_from_target_files output_path/target_files.zip
That did produce an ota_update.zip, but when I tried to flash in TWPR it yielded the same error. This is with N4F260 vendor and android-7.1.1_r14 source branch. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Confirm hashes of KDZ files

I bought a replacement V20 from China. It was sold as new but it's definitely been opened. Is there any way to pull an image off it and compare it with a known good one? I'll probably reflash it anyway to be sure, but it'd be nice to confirm.
It reports its version as VS9951BA. I've grabbed that kdz off https://lg-firmwares.com but I can't find a second copy of it hosted anywhere else to confirm the hash. Not that I don't trust lg-firmwares, but it's nice when you see the same hash from a lot of sources.
Code:
$ for h in sha256sum sha512sum md5sum; do $h --tag VS9951BA_01_0321_ARB00.kdz; done
SHA256 (VS9951BA_01_0321_ARB00.kdz) = edefde524ac1c45271f47a48ad51aeeab49fbdba325cb59652b7e0770848958f
SHA512 (VS9951BA_01_0321_ARB00.kdz) = 0b3bf61504b4dfa328bac92af4ceaa1ff3d6108f292a0c40d7ce4e812bc23c8dd7fd877cfe687b1127cab3ef69f5ef8171cf4b7da98ee703282c1be4aa9841ca
MD5 (VS9951BA_01_0321_ARB00.kdz) = 58aecb6979acf0a5c8705d1be86a6dcb
You can find a mirror of the file here, and the MD5 hash value matches:
